"I've got to hand it to you Maynard, when you came to my house and sold me out to my wife I developed the impression that you were cold. But what you did in there was just brutal. Antarctic ice kind of cold," Herman pronounced.

They had just come out of the briefing from which Angela had rejected Terrence's proposal. With the unsympathetic crowd's eye all around him, the journey back to the door from which he had come felt like a thousand mile trip with enormous weight upon one's shoulder. But she did not care.

After their bust-up, Terrence had intended to show Angela just how well he could live without her. He flashed women in front of her, flirting whenever he got the chance. She had seen it but had been too caught up in her work to notice the real intention spurring him on. All she did was heap fury which she would offload upon him when the time came.

"He is a big boy, he can handle it." She was cold even in her response.
