Chapter 29: The Missing Tesseract

"So, what's the plan?" Ethan asked, his voice filled with urgency as he turned to Coulson.

Coulson's expression was grim as he replied, "We need to track down the Tesseract before it falls into the wrong hands."

Tony perked up, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Wrong hands? You mean like my old man's when he used to hide the good whiskey?" he quipped, a smirk playing on his lips.

Coulson managed a small smile at Tony's attempt at humor before continuing. "Exactly. We suspect it's the work of a man named Loki—a dangerous individual with ties to Asgard."

Ethan furrowed his brow, "How do we track down someone like Loki?" he asked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Coulson hesitated for a moment before answering, "We'll need all the resources we can get," he admitted, his tone somber. "That's why I'm here—to ask for your help."

Tony's jaw tightened at Coulson's words, "You've got it," he replied without hesitation.

Coulson then hands over the file containing crucial information about the Tesseract.

"Thanks, Coulson," Tony said with a smirk, his tone laced with his trademark sarcasm. "You're always a ray of sunshine."

Coulson merely raised an eyebrow in response, his expression giving away nothing as he turned to leave the lab. Tony winked at him playfully before turning his attention back to the file.

"Now, let's see what secrets this little box of wonders holds," Tony mused, tapping away at the holographic display with practiced ease.

Ethan leaned in closer, his curiosity getting the better of him. "Anything interesting?" he asked, unable to contain his excitement.

Tony glanced over at Ethan, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Oh, you know, just your usual ancient artifacts with unlimited power," he replied casually, as if discussing the weather.

Ethan chuckled, shaking his head at Tony's nonchalant demeanor. "Just another day at the office, huh?"

Tony nodded, his grin widening. "You got it, kid. Now, let's dive into this treasure trove and see what we can find."

Meanwhile S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ...

A jet soared through the sky, heading toward a massive carrier floating in the water—the SHIELD HELICARRIER. As the jet landed, Coulson and Steve stepped out onto the deck, greeted by Natasha.

"Agent Romanoff, Captain Rogers," Coulson acknowledged, his demeanor professional yet friendly.

"Ma'am," Steve replied respectfully.

"Hi," Natasha greeted, her eyes scanning the newcomers with a hint of curiosity.

Natasha turned to Coulson. "They need you on the bridge; they're starting the face trace," she informed him as he heads off.

As Coulson departed, Natasha and Steve began to chat, their conversation peppered with light banter and friendly exchanges. Suddenly, they spotted Banner, who seemed a bit out of place as he observed the carrier.

"Doctor Banner," Steve greeted warmly as they approached.

"Oh, yeah, hi. They told me you'd be coming," Banner replied, a hint of uncertainty in his voice.

"Word is you can find the Cube," Steve remarked, getting straight to the point.

Banner hesitated for a moment before responding. "Is that the only word on me?" he asked, his tone cautious.

Steve shrugged, unfazed. "Only word I care about."

Before their conversation could continue, the intercom crackled to life, announcing the carrier's transition into flight mode.

"Is this a submarine?" Steve asked, trying to make sense of the situation.

Banner shook his head, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Really, they want me in a submerged pressurized metal container?" he quipped, his sarcasm evident.

As propellers began to spin and the carrier lifted into the air, Banner's expression shifted from uncertainty to mild panic. As the helicarrier ascended higher and higher, Banner muttered under his breath, "Oh no, this is much worse".

Author- Suggest me some fan-fic/comic where MC uses mystic arts. Need some content about mystic arts to write about New York battle as there is not that much in Doctor Strange movies. And please give reviews too, it'll help me write better novel.
