Plan In Motion

Opening my eyes to see the morning sun's rays shining down on me, I looked to my right to see Ciri wrapped up in my arms. What that meant is clear.

"Morning." said Ciri in a sleepy voice after having woken up from feeling me move.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty. How do you feel?" I asked with a teasing grin.

"Sore. It's been a while since I did such activities." she said as she snuggled up to me with her eyes still closed.

"You'll have to forgive me for that, although I have to say I'm not feeling too sorry all things considered." I said as I kissed the top of her head.

"It's okay, not like I didn't enjoy it."

"A lot if I remember correctly." I teased.

"Yes, yes, you were very good." she said rolling her eyes with a smile as she sat up, causing the sheets to fall off and revealing her form.

"Cover up please, I don't think I'll be able to control myself."

"Well, we do have some time." she said as she crawled over to me.

"Say no more."

After our morning row, we hopped in the shower, where we partook in another row, before finally settling down to eat breakfast.

"So, what now?" she asked as she ate.

"I'm assuming you're talking about us."

"Yes."

"Well, I do like you. A lot. And I wouldn't have gone to all that trouble just to sleep with you a few times. So, if you're okay with it, I'd like to make this exclusive."

"Good. You are now my boyfriend, and I, your girlfriend. That's the correct terminology, isn't it?"

"Haha, yes, it is, dear."

"Ooh, I like that. You call me dear, and I'll call you sweety? No, honey? No. Ooh, princess." she said with a teasing grin.

"Haha, if you want to call me princess, I'd be glad to answer. But I would prefer something more neutral."

"Fine, I won't call you princess save for special occasions. I'll think of something." she said.

"Okay. And the plan?"

"No changes. I just need to tell the others, after changing of course, and we can go." she said, getting a little more serious.

TRING

[Member Mission]

"Huh?" we both said after hearing the notification.

"Member mission?" I said as I opened the DGC.

[Member Mission]

A fellow member is about to enact a plan that will change the fate of her world and is very important to her.

World: Ciri's World/Witcher

Participants: Everyone

- Save Geralt from the Wild Hunt

- Kill the Wild Hunt

Rewards:

- 1 World Travel Token

- 1 Random Item

"So, when any one of us is about to do something that can be considered to be changing the trajectory of our world, the DGC will send a mission?" I wondered out loud.

"I guess so. Anyways, this is even better because this way everyone's worlds will stop and I won't have to take everyone one by one. Also, the rewards are an added bonus." said Ciri.

"Agreed, alright, I'll start the mission once everyone's ready."

~~

"Oh, come on. How many times has it been now, you two still throw up?" said Yoruichi as we all saw Guts and Uzui hurl after being transported.

"Some people never get used to it." said Ciri, as she reminisced about Geralt.

"Yeah, yeah, who cares about those two, I'm more interested in you two." said Amelia.

"Oh, right. So, what happened?" asked Yoruichi with a smile.

"We're dating now." we both said.

"Yes, I knew it! Cough it up!" said Amelia sticking her hand out to Yoruichi.

"Wait, you two bet on whether or not we would end up together?" asked Ciri.

"No, we bet on whether or not Matt would buck up and do it. Well, more like the over-under. I said he would do it before we came here to help, and she said he would do it after." she said making a peace sign.

"Wait, what'd you two even bet?" I asked.

"50 points." they said looking at me like I was dumb.

"Oh, that makes sense."

"Okay, we can talk and catch up later. Right now we have a mission to do." said Ciri, making us all listen up, even the two who were hurling stood up, albeit shakily.

"This is the plan. The Wild Hunt follows the trail Ciri leaves behind when she jumps. After using Upgrade, and in conjunction with her Space Talent, she no longer leaves a trail unless she wants to."

"So, Ciri's going to intentionally leave a trail, that the Wild Hunt will pick up, and seeing as they haven't picked up on anything for a while, they'll follow it immediately, where we'll lay a trap." said Guts.

"Correct, and we have to save Geralt. That is the most important part of this plan. Killing the Wild Hunt can be done anytime since I can follow them. So, we'll lay the trap and I'll find Geralt, save him, and then we kill them." she said.

"Okay. So, where are we laying the trap?" asked Uzui.

"I have an idea, but I want to run it by someone first. And before that, I need to find someone else."

"Kaer Morhen and Yennefer." I said.

"Yes. I think Kaer Morhen would be a perfect place to lay the trap. And I think moth-, ehem, I mean Yennefer would want to be there." she said, correcting herself while a blush appeared.

'Cute.'

"Okay, where do we go first? Find Yennefer or go to Kaer Morhen?" I asked.

"We should find Yennefer first seeing as it might take longer."

"In the original story, Yennefer ends up working for your "father" but that should be a year or two from now. Unfortunately, that's the best bet we have." I said, recalling the lore.

"Tch, don't call him my father, even with air quotes. That bastard means nothing to me. But if I have to go there to find Yen, I will."

"Okay, but why don't we all go to Kaer Morhen first, and you and I will go find Yennefer? Considering it's somewhat of a stealth mission, the fewer people go the better." I told her.

"Are you sure it's not because you want to spend some time alone?" teased Yoruichi to which I rolled my eyes while smiling.

"You're right. That way if Vesemir needs help with anything, he'll have two workhorses." she said looking at Uzui and Guts.

"Hey, we're not workhorses!" said Uzui.

"Then you can spar with him. He's lived for hundreds of years and fought monsters and men, his experience in sword fighting might help the both of you." I told them.

"Then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!" said Uzui, pumped up and ready to go.

"Alright, everyone huddle up around me. This is only the second time I've tried this, so forgive me if we end up in the middle of a nest of monsters." said Ciri.

"Wait, what?"

FWOOM

SPLASH

SCREECH

"Smells like shit." I said as I noticed we had ended up in a cave surrounded by ghouls.

"Oops." said Ciri as she took out her sword.

"Alright!" said Uzui as he dove right into the ghouls while the rest of us did the same.

AN

Hey guys, unfortunately, I'm going to have to switch to updating on weekdays only for the foreseeable future. School is really ramping up for me and I need the weekend for other things. Doesn't help that this novel takes a bit more brainpower than my other one in terms of thinking about how I want it to progress. But if I ever have time I might release a chap or two on the weekends. Appreciate you guys' understanding.

Also saw someone ask if I have a pa***n or something of the sort, and I don't. I do this for fun and as a hobby and if I made a pa***n I think it would put too much pressure on me to write well enough to justify someone spending money.

Also, let me know what you think of the rewards. Random item felt right for an easy mission. Obviously won't be anything crazy either, something monetary at worst, something random at best. Might just put things on a wheel and spin it to see what it lands on.

Seventy-ninth chapter done and as always let me know what you think.
