Vampires Have Arrived (Part 2)

The Vampire King loved games so much that he was reckless with his duties sometimes because of it. He was the one who had given the orders for them to have a conclusive meeting today concerning what to do with those Werewolves in Fort Valor Military Academy.

Although they have had about three meetings concerning thesame topic. The king still hasn't given his final judgment yet. To the council members, it was because of Noah. Noah was bitten by a Naturally Born Werewolf. Those fangs could easily kill a Vampire, the King wanted Noah, a Royal guard to heal fully before he gives his judgment, that is what they thought.

The real reason why the King didn't want them to go to Fort Valor Military Academy was because of his daughter. Although his daughter had no clue about what he was doing, nor did she know her real father. The King always wanted to protect his Dhampir daughter (Catherine). He was looking for a way to dodge the situation. He didn't want any of the Vampires to go to the school, for fear that they might find out about her and kill her on first sight. At the end of the day, he couldn't escape this, punishing Werewolves for killing Vampires was one of the major thing a Vampire King must do.

Entering the room, all the leaders could see th angry look in his face. Their assumption was that because he left the game. They all knew how much he loved the game. He was a King and could have cancelled the meeting if he wanted.

The room was made of dark materials. There were four torches with fire on the top of them at each corner of the room. There was a long black circle transparent table which was surrounded by eleven seats. Ten seats were occupied by the leaders. One of the seats stood out, it was made of Crystals that shone. It was lovely to see and would be kept as a treasure if humans were to see it.

It was much more beautiful than the diamonds found on Earth. Even on the Vampire Planet, the crystals used to craft this particular chair was from a Legendary Tier beast that was rare.

The chair itself was a work of art, made of flawless crystals that sparkled in the torchlight. The crystals were a rare blue color, said to be found only in the caves of a legendary beast. It was said that these crystals held the essence of the beast, its power and wisdom, and that they would grant strength and insight to those who wielded them. The crystal chair was a symbol of the king's authority, his connection to the legendary beast, and his own power and wisdom. It was a reminder of the bond between the king and his people, and the responsibility that rested on his shoulders.

The chair itself had three colours that were swirling around it. White which represent the King's Purity and Divine Authority. Red represents his might and great strength. Blue represents his wisdom.

The council members all stood up in honour of the King. After he sat on his chair aggressively, they all gave a bow and sat. His favourite two guards were with him. By his right was his royal knight who goes by the name Noah Brown and by his left was the other one who goes by the name Grant Sterling. Both knights were dressed in a silver looking armour that covered all there body features except their entire face. The knights didn't wear helmets except when it is necessary like in war.

"So Gary, give me any news you have?" The King asked Gary.

"Yes sir, the Vampires haven't gotten a confession from the Werewolves, whenever the bring that topic up, the Werewolves simply avoid it," Gary said standing up, "They even don't mingle with our students."

"I spoke to Arthur recently and he informed me that the Werewolves had an initiation ritual ceremony..." Gary was interrupted by Freya.

"I think that is a clear sign they are scared," Freya said interrupting him, she arranged her granny eye glasses afterwards. It wasn't like Vampires couldn't see without glasses, she took it open herself as a form of fashion.

"Scared..." Noah said but instantly shut up, this was a meeting with the top Vampires in the Settlement and he couldn't get involved. Interrupting them was a grevious offence and was punishable by the King. Fortunately, the current King had a soft heart for all. "I am sorry, My King," He said bowing down as a form of respect.

"Don't worry, you can say what you wanted to say," The king said looking at Noah.

"They are not just scared. I think they are terrified," Noah said, "The Werewolf that attacked me in the school appeared strong and courageous on the surface, but I noticed that his heart was racing when I mentioned the possibility of counterattack."

Noah paused swallowing his spit and then continued. "If they didn't do anything wrong, why would he attack on First Sight?" He asked looking at every council member.

"You think that is a good answer they did it, " Maxwell said standing up, "That's not even a valid circumstancial evidence."

The other council members were unsurprised by Maxwell's words. After all, he was the legal expert of the group, and he knew the law better than anyone else. In fact, they had all come to rely on him for his legal expertise, and he had never let them down. This time was no different, and his words rang true. They all nodded in silent agreement, confident that Maxwell was right.

"So what do you think would be the suitable situation to this," The King said looking at Maxwell who was still standing, "You cannot apply the law in everything..."

"Ha..."

It was only a slight laugh, but when everyone looked at him (Grant Sterling), he held the laugh back, not wanting to disgrace himself.

"I am sorry if I offended you My King," Maxwell said bowing down as he sat.

The King looked at him a bit angry and said, "I wasn't mad at you, The laws you wanted to talk about only applies in the Vampire Settlement and it doesn't apply to the Earth... Don't say anything," The king said those last words raising his right hand index finger as he could see Maxwell wanting to say something, "We also have our laws about how we treat Werewolves."

"There is one thing clear about that law that everyone of us know," The King said these words firmly, "That's the fact that a single Vampire's life is more valuable than ten Werewolves..."
