The Werewolves Must Act

"Why are we meeting up, Are we to train?" Benjamin asked, still a bit shaking.

Alexander smiled and looked at him and everyone in the room and said, "I think Sophie knows what we did to her husband."

"What?!" they all exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with shock and disbelief.

"How is that possible?" Benjamin stammered. "How could she have found out? Did you tell her? But you can't... We made a blood promise... How could she know what we did?" He was bewildered, his mind racing with questions.

Alexander held up a hand to silence him. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. First, we need to figure out what to do. We can't let this get out - we know the consequences." He looked around the room, meeting each of their eyes in turn.

"I suspect that she's been putting the pieces together. She knows that the story about the vampires and her husband's death isn't true. She's trying to find out what really happened, but she doesn't want to accuse us outright - at least not yet," Alexander explained. "We need to figure out how to deal with this, before it gets out of hand."

"What do you mean?" asked one of the werewolves (Issac Johnson). "She wouldn't be able to get any information from us." Issac said firmly.

Alexander shook his head. "I don't think she'll do that."

"Do you..." Ethan paused for a bit as he understood first before the others what Alexander was implying. "It's the Omega, Jacob, isn't it?" He asked. Alexander nodded.

"We all swore an oath that day, but that doesn't apply to him anymore," Alexander said. "Omegas don't have to follow the rules of the pack." He took a deep breath. "Even if he doesn't want to tell her the truth, he's the weakest. She could torture him until he breaks."

"You think she'd do that?" Jessica asked, incredulous.

Alexander nodded. "And even if she doesn't, he might tell her the truth just to get on her good side."

"I think we know what needs to be done," Benjamin said this time looking at the Alpha. "We need to end him."

"Yes, the Werewolves must act." Alexander replied.

***

As soon as the werewolf meeting had ended, Sophie hurried to the second year hostel. Normally, she would have never dared to go there, but this was different. She had a feeling the vampires were planning to attack the pack that night, and she wasn't sure she'd live to see the sun rise. The hostel warden, who usually enforced the rules so strictly, was nowhere to be seen. Sophie took a deep breath and entered the building. Her only thought was that she had to find out the truth about her late husband, and she knew exactly who to ask.

*Knock Knock

Sophie knocked on the door to Jacob's room, but there was no answer. She knocked again, more insistently this time. Still, there was no response. She took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. She had to find out the truth, no matter what it took. She pounded on the door, saying, "Hey, Jacob, Are you In there?"

She could hear Jacob's heartbeat Inside the room beating faster, she just asked as a form of formality. 'Is he scared of me or another thing.' she thought. She knew if someone is scared, they might likely not even bring the true information.

As she left the second year hostel, Sophie's thoughts turned to another person who might be able to help her. She made her way to the first year hostel. She knocked on the door of the room where that person lived, praying that he would be home.

The door to the room was open and she could see Watson wearing a red boxer only, he was shirtless, showing his poor physique. "What the..." Watson stuttered as he closed the door instantly.

Sophie laughed and said through the closed door. "I want to see Miller, Please it's urgent."

In his room, Miller sat up on his bed. He'd been studying for an upcoming test, but now he had to deal with this situation. He sighed, then stood up and made his way to the door. When he opened it, he saw Sophie standing there, her eyes pleading with him.

"We need to talk privately," Sophie said dragging him out of the hostel with her hand.

Miller followed without complaining. Sophie was one of the Werewolves he trusted with his life, she had always been on his side from the very beginning.

The two of them got to a secluded area. Sophie looked left and right to see if she could see anyone.

"It's 8:40PM. Students are either with their relationship partner, no one is here," Miller said looking at everywhere.

"Okay, I need to tell you this because I don't know if I would see the next day and I want to satisfy my curiosity," She said, "I believe you know that the Vampires are coming today."

"I am not surprised. I haven't seen Alex since morning," Miller said, he was sad that Alex must join this battle.

"I have never believed what the Werewolves said about my Husband's death. I have a feeling it's not true," Sophie said.

"Why do you say that?" Miller asked confused.

"Did they tell you that Vampires killed my Husband, when they fought?" She asked, her arms crossed in a serious manner.

"Yes, they did, What's the point? Vampires are more dangerous." Miller said firmly.

"That's if they are dressed in those armours. Even without an armour, it would take strong Vampires, not students to... Kill my husband," She said as tears could now be seen in her eyes. "I believe the Werewolves killed him by themselves..." Tears came out like a river.

"I am sorry. But what can I do to help? Do you really think they would do that?" Miller asked, feeling pity for her.

"There is someone I want you to ask for me," Sophie said as she wiped away her tears with her right hand, "The Omega, Jacob."

"I would do that for you," Miller replied.

"But you have to be quick," She said seriously, "Jacob is my only hope to get such information. Please bring him to my office. With you there, he wouldn't be scared."

"Do it fast, because I have a feeling that th Werewolves might end him." Sophie said.

"END HIM!" Miller shouted and Sophie nodded that it was a possibility.

[Shadow Travel]

In an instant, his entire body sunk into his Shadow and he was off to Jacob's room.
