TEAMMATE

"Yes us, we have to work together if we would want to leave this place alive, we need to escape, I can't stay here any longer, TEAMMATE". The words of Getrax were still ringing in James's head.

Getrax who he saw as his enemy was now calling him his teammate.

"I never thought this would happen" Edmund said to James.

"Yeah, me too" James replied.

James composed himself, trying to act normal. moments ago, they wanted to kill each other and now they want to team up to escape this place.

"I am with you, but i will not leave except i go with Miller" James said.

"I can't wait for that, so go alone" Getrax said while walking away.

"You won't be able to fight them on your own, so it is better we work as a team" James said to Getrax. Getrax paused for a second realizing this was true.

"Okay, but only the kid" Getrax said.

"Yes" James replied with a smile.

Most of the audience had left the stadium, Balcurus, and the other four Mevorotrians, went to a separate room to have a meeting.

The room was very wide and had five seats for each of them, the chairs surrounded a table. The table itself was wide and there was enough space between each chair.

All the Mevorotrians sat down including Balcurus. Balcurus started the conversation.

"Why can't we just go to the planet immediately, we can see what Humans have to offer" Balcurus said.

"No, not yet i disagree, we should not rush" another replied to Balcurus words angrily.

"Why can't we" Balcurus said, the refusal was now making him more and more offended.

"Just like we did with other planets, we should gradually infest their world, besides we don't know how advanced they had become" One of them replied.

"How is that possible, humans are weak, they have low intellect, how can beings like us be scared of them" Balcurus said with confidence. "Let us make a vote them, those in support that we colonize earth should raise their hands, if not forever remain silent".

Out of the five Mevorotrians in the room, only Balcurus raised his hands which meant, the others were not in support of this.

"You clearly lost" one of them said trying to offend Balcurus. Balcurus left the room annoyed as he slammed the door behind him.

Miller, the officer and Zabat were still inside the black room and so where the other prisoners. They were able to watch the fight between James and Getrax and they had seen how both of them collided and what happened after. Cold went through Miller's body when he saw that James both had been injured to the point that it was unrecognizable.

He did not like the way James face looked. The officer seeing this came to him to comfort him.

"Don't worry, you are with me" The officer said to Miller, because he could see the worried look in the boy's face.

Zabat himself was shocked when he had heard that he was the next in line to fight. But that fear quickly left his body, when he heard Balcurus saying it was cancelled and that gave him relief.

James and Getrax had both left the healing room; they were trying to head to where they could find all the prisoners. James himself was more concerned about Miller, He knew Miller was just an ordinary human with no powers, if a fight was to happen in that room, Miller would be the first to die and of course he did not trust that Officer.

When they left the healing room, they could see different doors.

"Are we on a different planet" Getrax asked James.

"How can i know" James replied.

This reply angered Getrax but he held back, he did not want to start a fight right now. Moving towards one of the doors, they hesitated to open it, what if they open it and then find something they don't want to see. The Mevorotrians were a strange race, they did keep beings that other would refer to as monsters as pets.

"open the door" James told Getrax who had been looking at the door for something.

"You can open it yourself" Getrax said while giving James the go-ahead.

James himself also hesitated for a moment, the first reason was because there was no guard stationed here and maybe if he opens it, a guard might catch them. or maybe when he opened the door, a beast might come out. Many thoughts were running through his head.

At last, he gathered courage and opened the door. When he opened the door, a white dust began to pour out. The dust was so thick that one could not see what was inside.

"Quick, close the door!" Getrax shouted to James. Getrax knew what that meant, but James didn't. James immediately obeyed but when trying to close the door, the white smoke pushed the door away and it sent the door flying.

The dust came out of the room and now the whole area between Getrax and James was covered with it's dust.

"You did this to me" A voice said from the white fog.

"No it wasn't us, it was the Mevorotrians" Getrax said. It was clear he was scared.

"Where are they" The voice from the white fog said.

"At the stadium" Getrax replied. James had been looking at the white fog that circled them confused. Even with his super hearing James could not pin point where the exact voice was coming from, he could hear it everywhere. it was like the person talking was everywhere.

"Where is the stadium" the voice from the White fog said.

"We don't know yet, but we can all find out together, we are prisoners just like you" Getrax said to the fog.

"I need help" the fog said.

"What help do you need" James finally spoke up.

"I need a way out of here, i want to leave this place, i want to go home" The fog said.

"We also want to leave this place, you can reveal yourself now" Getrax said.

Slowly but surely, the fog began to dissipate, revealing a pale figure with a long, flowing tail. At first, it was hard to make out the features of the being, but as the fog cleared, it became apparent that this was no ordinary human. The figure's skin was a ghostly white, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light, and its tail flicked back and forth with a serpentine grace. Was this a being of legend, or something even more fantastical?
