Immunity

SWOOSH!

Miller's both wings had clapped and a strong gust of wind hit Catherine, Alex and Jacob. It was faster than they could react.

BANG!

The three of them hit the walls. Both Alex and Catherine struggled to get on their feet because of the attack. But as for Jacob; who was in his Werewolf form. He had a lot of stamina, even greater than a Vampire.

Jacob seeing the two were weak dashed towards Miller at full Speed.

Miller was moving slowly to them and when Jacob got close he used his left wing to block Jacob's attack and used the right to stab Jacob on the chest and then threw him to the corner.

BANG!

Jacob hit one of the poles in the room. Watson who was standing close to one of the poles got scared instantly.

Catherine and Alex were now standing on their two feet. Alex with anger sent out bloody burst after bloody burst. The red line of aura that left his hand went straight to Miller's chest. But for an unknown reason, it wasn't even working. Miller didn't budge a bit.

"What." Alex said in shock. "Is he immune to my attack."

Catherine seeing this instantly made a huge energy ball at her hand. It was purple in colour. She threw the energy ball on Miller.

BANG!

It hit Miller right in the chest. When the dust settled, they were all shocked to see Miller standing on his two feet and he looked more angrier than before.

"It's not only you." Catherine said. "He is now immune to our attacks."

Miller growled as he looked at the two in front of him. He wasn't even concerned about Jacob. But his super senses were still alert and would be able to pick any attack from Jacob.

Miller dashed towards Catherine and Alex at full speed stretching out his clawed hands forward.

'I guess. It's time i show my full strength.' Catherine thought.

Just as Miller was about to reach them, Catherine closed her eyes and let out a deep breath. A faint glow began to emanate from her hands as her fingertips began to tingle with power. She felt energy coursing through her body, ready to be unleashed.

"You won't win," she said, her voice low and steady.

As Miller's claws were about to reach Catherine's chest, she opened her eyes and let out a scream of power. A wave of energy erupted from her body, blasting Miller backwards. The force of the blast sent him flying across the room, his body crashing into the far wall. The walls shook as Miller slumped to the ground, dazed and wounded.

Catherine stood in the middle of the room, breathing heavily. Her eyes were glowing brightly, and her hands were still crackling with energy. Alex stood beside her, amazed at the display of power.

'She is really strong.' Watson who was watching thought.

The reason why her attack worked was because unlike before. She had used Magic to attack through Mana. But this time it was Energy Blast.

Miller Immediately stood up he was angrier than ever and this time he dashed towards her again and this time even faster than the previous time. When she saw this, she immediately sent another energy blast, but when the blast was about to hit Miller. He used his bony wings to block the attack.

BANG!

A loud bang was heard as the attack hit his bony wings, but in an instant the wings regenerated again from the attack.

She threw another energy blast again and this time, Miller flapped his gigantic wings and he hovered up in the room dodging the attack and the attack hit the wall again causing the entire room to shake again.

She threw another energy blast at him again with anger and this time she had used more energy. Miller dodged the attack at the right moment by using his wings to fly to another area.

BANG!

The Energy blast had hit the roof of the room and the room started to shake aggressively more than ever. The entire room shaked and they could all feel it.

WHOOSH!

As Catherine was distracted by the sudden shack of the room. Miller had flew towards her and stretched out his claws to stab her, but due to her Dhampir super hearing, she was able to figure that out and had dodged at the right time by moving to het left.

BANG!

A loud bang sound was heard as Miller used his feet to kick her in the stomach. Her body hit the wall of the room. Miller's toes were also made of sharp claws and had stabbed her during the attack.

SPLAT!

SPLAT!

SPLAT!

Blood started to trickle from her wound.

'It's taking time to heal.' Catherine thought worried as she touched her stomach. The wounds were healing but at a slower rate. Her greatest suggestion was that Miller's claws were made of an unknown venom.

Catherine started felt weak. She felt hopeless. She was very strong, but against Miller right now, she felt weak, very weak.

Miller walked past Alex and was heading towards her. Alex looked at him confused and that's when he realized it.

'Blood. He is after blood.' Alex thought.

He could see that Miller was drawn to Catherine because her blood was pouring on the floor. Alex seeing this hardened his claws, he stabbed his left palm, and blood started to pour. He was hoping it would draw Miller's attention. He could see Catherine's state and she was in no room to fight.

"Kill, kill, kill," a voice inside Miller's head echoed, over and over again. He was not thinking of the people in front of him, only of his need to destroy them. His vision was distorted by the rage that consumed him, and he could only see them as threats to be eliminated. He had no concept of who they were or what they represented.

The only thing that mattered to him was the need to destroy them, to end their threat once and for all. It was all he could focus on, and it consumed his every thought.

'He isn't stopping.' Alex thought as he dashed towards him punching Miller's back. Miller didn't budge a bit as he just continue to move forward to catch Catherine.

Catherine was weak. But she Still had the strength to perform Magic.

She called some spells and made hand gestures with her hands in circle. In an instant a portal opened on the floor and swallowed her. She was no longer there.

ZIP!

The portal reopened and she was now behind Jacob who was at the other end of the room close to Watson.

Miller seeing that she was no longer in front of him Turn his body to face the other direction. He could still smell her blood. He started moving towards her. Alex got in front of him trying to block her and stabbed his palm several time causing more blood.

But for some reason, Miller wasn't interested in his blood and Miller just used his claws to hit him in the chest at the heart area.

SPLAT!

"Alex." Watson shouted.

A huge hole could be seen in Alex's chest. Miller had stabbed him in the heart. Even if Alex was a Vampire, he couldn't heal from this. Alex fell on the floor dead...
