Emily And Catherine Are Back

Catherine and Emily found themselves standing in the school garden, the familiar surroundings offering a sense of comfort after their eventful visit to Catherine's home. They exchanged glances, both curious about why their friends—Miller, Watson, Alex, and Lillian—were waiting for them. But they could easily guess, It was because of Emily.

"Emily." Lillian said with joy as she ran to give Emily a hug.

Emily who now knew everything about herself gave her a hug as well.

"We're so glad you're okay," Lillian said, her voice tinged with relief. "We were worried about you after everything that happened."

"Thank you, Lillian." Emily said. "I'm fine. I'm better than fine, actually. It's like I have a new lease on life."

"You look different." Miller said. "But you still look like yourself. I can't put my finger on it."

"I can." Watson said. "Her eyes are different. They used to be brown, but now they're silver."

"It's Nice to see that you are okay." Alex said.

"Thanks." Emily replied to him.

"Catherine told me that i have been missing for up to three weeks." Emily said.

"Yes." They all said in unison.

"Three weeks, is a long time to be gone. Do you know who took you." Miller asked a little angry.

"I don't know to be honest. I can't remember." Emily replied a little saddened.

"Her memory was obtained but she still can't figure out who the Dark Magician is." Catherine said. "My mom...I mean i was informed that we should be careful and we shouldn't go anywhere close to that Dark Magician."

"Why..." Miller said. "If we don't do anything. How can we get Justice, who knows if he plans to take anyone of us here."

"It's not just about us," Watson said, his voice quiet but firm. "It's about all the people who could be in danger if this Dark Magician continues to operate unchecked. We have to do something."

"But what can we do?" Alex asked, a look of helplessness on his face. "We don't know who he is, or where he is. We don't even know what he looks like."

"We just have to stay strong." Catherine said. "I don't know much about Dark Magic. But there is one thing i know. And that is the fact that Dark Magicians are ruthless."

"They do the Abominable, hence... Dark Magic. They're driven by greed and a thirst for power," Catherine continued. "They'll do anything to get what they want, no matter who gets hurt in the process. We have to be prepared for anything."

"But what if we're not strong enough?" Alex asked, his voice trembling slightly. "What if we're not powerful enough to stop him?"

There was a brief silence in the room as none of them knew what to do or what to say right now.

Lillian finally decided to change the topic: "Emily, some Mutants came to school. They were sent by your Family to come and find you."

"Let me guess..." Emily said. "They are five Mutants."

"Yes." Lillian answered and nodded.

"There is a Security unit called The Spectrum Unit," Emily finished, her eyes lighting up. "I've heard of them. They're an elite team of Mutants who work mainly for the government officials. They are not like the Anti-Meta Human Officers or Travellers who are still controlled by the Government and protect the General Public. The Spectrum unit protects only those at the top and their family."

"They have enhanced abilities, like super strength, super speed, and the ability to generate and manipulate energy. They're like superheroes, basically."

"They're like superheroes who can't wear capes and tights." Lillian said, a smile on her face. "Do you know any more about them?"

"I know they're led by a woman named Spectrum. But I don't know much. The person that would know much would be the president; Blythe Pemberton; My uncle." Emily said. "If they sent five people here that means they must have been worried about me."

Hearing Emily's words reminded them that she was a kind of royalty. Because of how Emily behaves like a regular person. It would be hard for someone to know that she belongs to The Pembertons. The family that control the whole world.

"That is not the main problem." Lillian said. "They are with Jason."

Hearing her boyfriend's name. She felt a little unease. "I have to go there now."

"You can't..." Miller said but stopped a bit as all of them looked at him awkwardly. "I mean.. It is almost near curfew and you have to go and rest."

"You can meet him tomorrow." He concluded.

"Who are you to tell me what to do!" Emily snapped a bit angry.

Miller's face fell, and he took a step back, his hands raised in a placating gesture. "I'm sorry, that was out of line," he said, his voice apologetic. "It's just...we're all worried about you. And we don't want you to get into any trouble."

Emily sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I know you're all just looking out for me," she said. "But I need to do this. I need to see Jason."

"What if it's a trap?" Lillian asked, her voice full of concern.

"It can't be trust me..I know them more than you think." Emily said smiling. "Alright i can see how worried you guys are. So i would go and meet him tomorrow."

"Good." Catherine blurted out.

Everyone chuckled.

"Miller, i wanted to ask you something. Catherine transferred some of your energy to Emily." The System said.

"Do you think, she might turn into a Mutant?" The System concluded.

"You got to be kidding me." Miller replied.

"I am just guessing. besides there are a lot of things, we still don't know." The System replied. "Like we know right now that your blood can mutate someone."

"So what do you think your Energy can do?" The System asked a Rhetorical Question. "Miller, i am not saying she is a Mutant, but let us just know use your Inspect Skill on her."

The others were chatting with Emily and they were all leaving the School Garden together. Miller decided to use his Inspect Skill on her and what came to his eyes came as a Suprise.

- Emily is of average height with a slender build.

- She has striking silver eyes, which were once brown but changed due to a unique event; Which is when some of your Energy started to reside inside her.

- Her hair is a chestnut brown that falls in natural waves down to her shoulders.

[Basic Ability: Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Agility, Enhanced Stamina, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Eyesight, Enhanced Senses]

[Special Ability: Emily's Basic Ability is halved on how much the User levels up]

[Weakness: She is Still a Human and can be defeated by other Mutants. Although, she is a higher version of Human]

After these another words popped at Miller's retina:

[Emily is not a Mutant and therefore your Summoning Pact can't work on her. But the user can also take back these powers. If he finds a way to take back the Energy]
