You

"What do you think you are doing?!" The man named Robert was angry. He got up but Castelia did the same to block his way.

Castelia smiled as she made eye contact. She said, "How about you just shut up?" Castelia had to stay there to stop the man from interfering with Maddie's work but the little plan didn't go as smoothly as usual.

Castelia's phone vibrated, she picked it up out of curiosity and the notification that appeared on the phone screen was surprising. The number she didn't save sent a message saying, 'I'm at your house, waiting for you.'

To hell with who's waiting, Castelia shouldn't be swayed just by that text message but Castelia did. The expression on her face was worried and her feet wouldn't stop moving, saying she wanted to run and go to the place in her brain, home.

'No!' Castelia thought, insisting that getting the job done and being with Maddie was the most important thing but unfortunately Castelia had already admitted that she was stupid.

Maddie swung her arms and doused the girl—Lula, with water in her hands, soaking her face until her hair was wet.

Robert's anger was rising but instead of pushing the man back, Maddie was startled by Castelia running past her.

"Cas?!" called Maddie in a big voice but Castelia didn't even turn around. Castelia ran away, leaving her in a daze.

Because … it wasn't like Maddie would let Castelia go quietly if she asked for permission, therefore Castelia turned a deaf ear and just left without a word.

"Akh!" Maddie didn't have time to think about anything, she had to fall because Robert was pushing her.

"Are you crazy?!" raged the man while helping Lula up. "What do you think you are doing?!"

"Bastard!" Maddie was no less furious, she hit the floor before getting up and glaring at Robert. It wasn't her that had to be the spectacle, Maddie was angry that the shock had made her lose focus, so Robert could easily knock her out. "Be careful with your hands, dammit!"

Again Maddie made the mistake of not focusing. She raised her hand to slap without remembering that Robert was a man, bigger than her. He was stronger, easily catching Maddie's wrist and pushing her to create some distance.

The great force caused Maddie to stagger, luckily she could touch the edge of the table to grab before falling. Maddie stared in disbelief, anger burning behind her eyes, telling that this case wasn't going to end just like that.

He shouldn't have angered Maddie especially after her best friend suddenly left her without an explanation. "I'll kill you, bastard!" Maddie threw a tantrum, attacking Robert without hesitation regardless of all the previously seated customers who had gathered around them to watch.

Meanwhile, Castelia was running, forgetting she had her motorcycle keys in her trouser pocket. She ran as fast as she could and arrived at the yard covered in sweat, exhausted and almost out of oxygen.

Luckily the location of the café and her house were not too far away, Castelia spent fifteen minutes running non-stop. Truly, the name of Joshua could make her outlandish, Castelia wouldn't deny.

Satisfied with gathering oxygen, Castelia straightened up and looked around. She saw no one in front of the house but a black car in the yard. Castelia took a breath to calm herself before walking over. She was ready to knock on the windshield but it opened before she could touch it.

Castelia saw Joshua, he sat on the steering wheel and looked at her. "Come in," the man ordered and Castelia complied dubiously. Joshua raised the car window after Castelia closed the door.

Silence happened. Castelia silently looked at Joshua but the man just stared straight ahead without a word. After two minutes of silence and Castelia could no longer contain her curiosity, she asked, "Why do you want to meet?"

Castelia's heart beats like it's about to explode regardless of what kind of answer she will receive. She is anxious to guess what Joshua's sudden desire to meet. Is it bad or vice versa?

Joshua didn't answer, didn't even look at her. He remained silent until Castelia broke the silence again with the question, "Because of last night?" Castelia thought her guess right because if not, why would the young man suddenly want to see each other after a week of no news?

However, Castelia's guess was wrong. Joshua didn't even mention what happened yesterday, telling her, "I just got back from Paris that day."

Castelia raised her head to look at Joshua, questioning the meaning of his sudden expression. Joshua added, "I've been very busy, so I can't get in touch with you."

"Ah …" Castelia didn't respond much because she didn't know what to say but there was a small pleasant tremor in her chest. Slowly the small vibration brought a smile that finally expanded beautifully. The girl was shy but happy, she said, "Thank you for telling me. I was worried about you."

Hasn't such a thing ever happened? Doesn't it feel like déjà vu? True, Castelia remembered the ending of the story which she thought was beautiful but love was something blind and Castelia really could no longer be doubted as stupid. Only because of Joshua's good attitude, she forgets all the bad things and forces herself to accept that she wanted to believe Joshua was sincere this time.

"How are you?" asked Castelia, bringing up a new topic of conversation.

"I'm not good," replied the man he was talking to, his answer causing Castelia's expression to change.

"Why?" she asked anxiously. "You are okay?"

"I'm fine," said Joshua.

"Then what makes you feel bad?"

Joshua finally turned around and made eye contact. Castelia couldn't guess what the man was thinking, he calmly replied, "You."

"Me?" Castelia was confused, believing that she couldn't make Joshua feel bad especially after not seeing him.

Joshua repeated emphatically, "Right, you. You're making me feel bad."

"What did I do to make you feel bad?" asked Castelia curiously. She tried to think, but there were no guesses except for the Melody case. Melody's face inside Castelia's head caused her expression to shrink, anxious to know that Joshua had discovered everything.

Castelia averted her eyes as she no longer dared to maintain eye contact. She bit her lower lip and fiddled with her fingers in front of her stomach, waiting for Joshua's answer with a heart that was like a ticking time bomb.

"You really think I don't know what you're planning with Melody?" alluded to Joshua and in that very instant, Castelia's heart stopped beating.

Castelia doesn't know what kind of excuse she can use especially after Joshua admits he knows everything. "I'm sorry," Castelia regretted without hesitation, thinking Joshua deserved an apology from her. "I didn't mean to trick you," she said.

Unfortunately, Joshua didn't say it for an apology, he just let Castelia know what he knew. "I won't forgive you," the man said, suddenly making Castelia return to eye contact.

Castelia looked so worried and guilt-ridden at just one sentence from Joshua that Joshua repeated, "I won't forgive you if you don't come with me tonight."
