Looking for the Briefcase

"You can search anywhere in the academy. I'll be giving you one hour to find the briefcase I've hidden and bring it in front of me. Once the one hour time limit finish, I will reject your proposal of creating a detective club in my academy! And if you can find it within one hour, I will naturally accept your proposal, and will support the club with everything I can do!" Principal Diana said before the gang left the principal office to begin looking for the briefcase.

"So? What's the plan?" Leo asked while looking at everyone.

"How about we group ourselves into two and look for the briefcase?" James proposed. His proposal was really good, the only problem was that, he was hoping that Vanessa will be his partner and they will be looking for the briefcase together, which is really impossible to happen.

"I agree with your plan!" Vladimir said.

"No problem here!" Marvin also agreed.

Leo then looked at Red and he noticed that there was also no problem for him.

"Since everyone agreed with my plan, then let's group ourselves! Leo and Vladimir will be in group one, me and Vanessa will be in group two, while Red and Marvin will be in group three! "James said with a smile while secretly gazing at Vanessa.

"I disagree!" Vanessa became annoyed. She was not annoyed by James trying to plan another alone time with her, since no matter how hard James worked, there will be no chances for them to be in relationship. Instead, she was annoyed by the fact that, James tried to pull her away from Red. If James know what Vanessa is thinking, he might be broken into pieces again. Such pitiful a person!

"I want me and Red to be in group 2, while you and Marvin will be in group 3!" Vanessa said before she hugged Red's arm, as if showing James that you can't pull us away from each other!

Looking at Vanessa's action, James was feeling really jealous. But he knows that he can't do anything, except to slowly accept the reality that they just can't be together!

Leo and Vladimir were searching in the basement for the briefcase, they've already searched all the places but they still haven't found the briefcase. Leo and Vladimir started suspecting that the principal never really hidden a briefcase from the very start.

"What if it's true?" Vladimir said.

"That's impossible! If she really did it that way then, the only place to look for the briefcase can only be in the principal's office! "Leo shrugged the idea. He just don't want to go back inside that office for the time being. He is still overreacting!

"Ohhhh.... Why didn't I think of that?" Vladimir said when he immediately thought that there might be a possibility for that to happen.

Vladimir was thinking that, if she wants us to find her briefcase, considering the stuffs inside of it, she will choose not to put it somewhere far from her. But, He was also thinking of the small possibility that she might have removed the stuffs inside the briefcase before hiding it. But if that was the case, with hundreds of people inside the academy using a briefcase to put there stuffs, how is it possible for them to find the principal's briefcase?

"Come on, let's go to the principal office!" Vladimir said while smiling widely. I'm a genius!

Leo was hesitating whether to follow Vladimir to the principal office or not. But, since there is a little possibility that they can find the briefcase there, why not take the risk and enter the principal office again.

Meanwhile, James and Marvin where looking at the faculty office. James thought of this idea. He was thinking that, since the principal said that they can look for it anywhere, then that only means she's allowing them to have the right to go look for it in any places inside the academy! Ð

"I think it's impossible for the briefcase to be in here!" Marvin said after he finished looking at the stuffs inside one of the teacher's briefcase. They were lucky that there were no teachers inside the faculty, or else they might be having a hard time to look at the stuffs inside every teachers briefcase, or maybe they can't even touch a single briefcase inside the faculty office.

"Believe me! Remember, the most secure place on the academy aside from the principal office and some superiors office is the faculty office." James said with a smile. He was thinking that his really clever for thinking that way.

James was thinking the same idea as Vladimir. The principal's briefcase should contain some of her important stuffs. Which means, it's natural that she will hide it somewhere secured, so that no one can steal it while they are looking for it.

On the other hand, Marvin was not happy with James idea. James might be thinking that it's a clever idea, but for Marvin it was clearly a stupid idea. Directly trespassing a secured place is the same as suicide!

"I'm 100% sure that this place doesn't have the briefcase and that we should be leaving this place as soon as possible." Marvin said while looking at the glass door. Marvin was looking at the glass door, so that he can immediately hide when the security guards arrive.

"Don't worry, considering that this place is really secured, the possibility of the briefcase being here is close to 99%!" James proudly said, even though it's not yet clear whether they can find it in this faculty office or the other faculty office.

After hearing that, Marvin was immediately dumbfounded. That's the more reason why we should be leaving this place, because it's one of the secured places! He thought of that after finding out that there are 6 CCTV cameras inside the faculty office.

The security might be arriving soon, I better leave this place! Blame yourself James, for not believing me! Marvin thought as he immediately slip away from the place.

After a few minutes, a few security guards arrived and went inside the faculty office. After a brief moment, they left with James on their hands. Marvin was looking at James pitifully.

Meanwhile, Red and Vanessa were inside the principal office. They were not searching for the briefcase because for Red, it was stupid to search things without any clue. Vanessa didn't have any problems with that, as long as she got to spend her time with Red.

Through Red's investigation. The briefcase is a leather briefcase which was colored black, with 20cm width and 15cm height. Because of this information, he can now start eliminating briefcases which are not leather, colored black and 20cm width and 15cm height.

"Can I borrow the list of rooms and the map of the whole academy?" Red asked which made Principal Diana surprise. He is really worth the title top 1 of the MS academy for detectives.

Principal Diana opened a drawer in her table, and in a brief moment, she retrieved a paper and a map. After that, she gave the paper and the map to Red as she said "Return this after finding the briefcase"

Clearly, Principal Diana was thinking the possibility of Red's squad to find her briefcase because of the paper and the map.

Red replied with a smile as he turned around to l race the place. But, before leaving the place, Red didn't forgot to check all the surrounding first. He was thinking that, maybe the briefcase is inside or maybe not. Clearly, for him, every places has the possibility of the briefcase being there, so might as well check the principal office before leaving.

When Red was going to grab and open the door to leave the principal office, because he had already got the clues he wanted, Leo and Vladimir suddenly arrived. After a moment, James also arrived while being pull by a security team.

"What are you doing here?" Vladimir asked when he surprisingly found Red and Vanessa inside the principal's office.

"Asking for clues" Red replied.

After hearing that, Vladimir, Leo and James was immediately taken aback. They immediately thought that they are so stupid that they actually forgot the most important thing before starting their search.

*face palm!*

"Why didn't we think of that?" Leo looked at Vladimir.

Vladimir shrugged his shoulder and said "Because we were in a rush. Forget that! As long as we learn our lesson, it's fine!" Leo nodded, expressing that he agree.

James on the other hand, felt like crying. He was regretting that he only thought of his idea and didn't believe Marvin. When he finally realized that the later was clearly right, he was already being carried away by the security team.

"You can release him and return to your office." Principal Diana said to the security team. The security team let go of James and nodded at Principal Diana before leaving the office. After a while, Marvin entered the office and became shocked that everyone was inside the office.

And again, the gang left the principal office. Leo asked Red if he checked the principal office and he received the reply that the briefcase wasn't in there.

"If that's the case, where is the briefcase then?" Leo asked while looking at everyone.

Red was looking at the map he received from the principal and he said "I think I know where"
