A Murder inside Morning Coffee Shop Part 3

Soon, police car sirens where heard outside the coffee shop. Four man in police uniform walked inside the coffee shop and was shocked for a moment because everyone was staying still on their own places. Nobody moved and nobody made a sound, except for an 18 years old teenager wearing a Nike brand shoes, a black pants and a opened black hoddie with a white shirt below it.

"Young man, you can't move around in the crime scene, you need to stay put just like everyone, so that we can solve this case easily "one of the police man named Justin said.

Everyone on the coffee shop swallowed a mouthful of saliva, this was also what the 18 years old teenager told them a while ago.

Red laughed and showed them his Detective identification card

The four police officers gulped down a mouthful of saliva as they thought. F*ck this young man was actually a graduate from that academy!

What was MS academy for detectives? Well, it's just the most respected and known academy for those people who wants to become detectives. All those people who graduated from that academy were all those well know best detectives of their times. And besides that, Red's mentor, who was named Clayd, was also one of those well-known best detectives of this country.

" I want to accept this case! " Red said to the 4 police officers. The 4 police officers thought for a moment before nodding their heads.

"I want the two of you to guard the door" Red said at the two police officers at the back and continued "while the two of you will interrogate those other costumer, starting from that female cashier and to those other costumers, while I'll handle this group " the two police officer nodded and went to the cashier to ask some question.

Red looked at the group of 5 as he said "what are your relations with Kimberly"

"I, Stephanie and Ruby are Kimberly's best friends since high school. "One of the three girls said. Red nodded and then looked at Louise.

"I'm her director on the play that were going too held on our school. She was going to be one of the actress on the play. And I 'am also one of her best friend "Louise answered. Red nodded again and looked at Richard.

"I'm her boyfriend "Richard said with a hint of despair on his voice.

"Okay, what is your purpose of going in this coffee shop?" Red said and then he looked at the three girls again.

"Kimberly asked the three of us to help her with her role on the play." Stephanie answered

"She said that she was going to tell me something "Louise said.

"She also told me that she was going to tell me something "Richard said.

Red smiled and thought. So, this murder was the caused of the stupid thing called love!

"Okay, my next question is only for Louise and Richard. For the both of you, what do you think was Kimberly going to tell you? "

"I think it was about our play!" Louise immediately said without a second thought.

"I don't know "Richard said.

"You two can drop the act and tell me the truth "Red said with a smile.

"Okay, okay. She was going to give me her answer "Louise answered.

"What answer?" Red asked.

"I was courting her and she told me that she was going to tell me her answer today "Louise said embarrassed.

"WHAT!!! So, it was you who she's going to replace me with! "Richard yelled before he punch Louise. But Red was fast enough to grabbed Richard's fist.

"You really are good in acting! After killing her you can still act like you didn't do it?! "Red said. The group immediately froze and look at Richard in shock. The two police officers who was going to interrogate a muscular man suddenly looked at Red's direction. They knew that what they're doing was something useless and that the real murderer was within those group of friends. The two officers then moved to Red's side and listen on how Red proves why Richard is the murderer.

"What do you mean I killed her1!?" Richard said.

Red laughed and continued "Didn't I told all of you that I watched the whole play from the very start till the very end?!" Red paused and pointed at the coffee which Kimberly drink a while ago. Obviously, what he meant was he already knew the killer from the very start but was just looking for more evidence, the group of friends finally realized.

" Aside from you and Kimberly, who else touched Kimberly's cup of coffee? " Red smirked

"First, you insisted that you're going to wait for the order while they will look for a sit right? But I know that it was not your original purpose, your real purpose was so that you can put the poison in there unnoticed, but you didn't expect that Kimberly was going to insist that she will carry the order instead of you. That's where the second part came to play. When you caught sight of Kimberly having a hard time carrying your orders, you immediately went to her and help her, but the real purpose of it was so that you can put the poison again because your first plan failed. But you still became unsuccessful, because you can't put the poison while carrying the tray. And that's where the last part of the play happened "Red paused and looked at Richard who is covered in sweat.

"You crack some jokes while distributing their orders and when it was Kimberly's order, you then secretly slid the poison on the coffee. And the proof to that is still on your hand" Red pointed at Richard's right hand and then he continued "how about you lick your right palm!?" Red said with a smile

"Wh... Why would I kill my girlfriend! "Richard said panicked is obvious on his voice.

"Obviously, because you thought that she's going to break up with you!" Red smirked and then continued " Before Kimberly delivered your order, I watched her asked the cashier if she can borrow a pen. You can look at her cup on what she wrote! "

Richard grabbed the cup of Kimberly with a trembling hands and then he noticed a small words on it.' I love you Richard forever and ever '. Richard dropped the cup and then fell on the ground on his knees.

"Sh...She... "

"Yes, she already knew your plan and your motive of why you would do it!" Red finished Richard's sentence.

"Arrest him!" One of the officers yelled but before he can rush to Richard. Richard has already bent down and then he tried to lick the spilled coffee as he said "wait for me Kimberly! I 'am going to accompany you on the afterlife! "

But, before he can lick the spilled coffee, a kick has suddenly hit his face which pushed him far from the spilled coffee.

*bang!

"Don't you try escaping from your crimes!" Red yelled. After that, the the two police officers arrived next Richard and then they immediately hold Richard's hands and head so that he can't touch the spilled coffee.
