Chapter - 05

'So, the brown ones are rotten. What a life!!!' – I practically yelled out, frustratingly, I couldn't get over the boogie flavour, yuck…

I got up, angry at myself and my luck, and began to walk towards whatever direction came my way. I might go back to the abandoned house and ask for the owner to give me something to eat. Yes, that's the best idea, I guess.

*Thud*

''What's the sound?" - I said as I turned around to have a look.

''A blue fruit'' - To my surprise, I found a blue fruit lying where I had sat a while ago. I toppled over there and grabbed the beautiful 8-inch fruit. The brown ones skin was a bit rough, but this one is so smooth. I took a hesitant bite and waited for something more edible than the other one. It's not sweet at all and not even sour, It's more like I'm chewing water, my point is it tastes like water, no flavour at all.

I gobbled up the whole fruit, feeling my stomach a bit relaxed when another one dropped right in front of me. I immediately looked up. I froze...

A small creature, the same size as the fruit, a bit taller than the fruit maybe, which has prominent Light purple dragon-fly wings. Thank god, I didn't make a fool out of me by screaming loudly. I kept my cool as I finished what I had in my mouth.

The thing stopped flapping its wing and took a seat on a nearby tree branch, looking at me with It's big round eyes.

''W-What are you?''

The thing I was seeing was a 10 cm doll-like creature. It has 2 pairs of light purple dragon-fly wings which are glittering in the sun. When It was flying, its wings were moving faster like a dragon-fly. Its eyes were round and black. There's no white part in its eyes, a large black pupil covering its whole eye, almost looking like an alien. The eyes were really big compared to its nose and mouth. Now that I realized, it has no neck and its body is only 2x than its large head, just like a cute chibi out of a manga. The whole body of it is covered in a dark purple shade of fur (they looked extremely soft). It has two large antennas that were attached to its head, bending a bit towards its hand. Overall, the thing I was witnessing is the cutest thing I've ever noticed. So, something in me was itching to know more about this little thing.

''Do you not know how to speak?'' - I asked it rather gently since the creature in front of me seems quite scared which I don't get why, I'm the most innocent looking lovely lady straight out of the book (Well, not to everyone...)

I tried to be more cautious with my actions since I'm really curious about this cute creature, so I tried to give a few genuine smiles. But no matter how soft I am towards 'it', it just looks more scared... I didn't know I could look like a threat to someone in my entire life. Before I could ask another bunch of questions, it opened its mouth at last,

''Um I-I can. Just n-not allowed.'' It was scared by judging its voice, which was trembling a bit. I tried to give him more reassuring looks and gently told him not to be so afraid.

'Aww. I wish I could pet it?!'

''You're not allowed to talk??"
