WIFE MATERIAL

A man relaxing in the driver's seat suddenly felt like he was struck by lightning when he saw a young lady faint on the road. He wanted to halt the car but it was too late.

'Did I just kill someone?'

As a doctor who was made to redeem lives, it was normal to be scared out of his wits. In the back seat, a grey-haired man stuck his cane at the man.

"Keep it moving, young man" His voice was distant but the man heard a glimmer of frustration in it.

He looked back at the old man afraid of getting hit but he had just killed someone. Fear was written all over his face.

The grey-haired man arrogantly stuck his wooden cane at the man.

"Xing, you are sweating so much...what is wrong?" The old man asked.

"Old Su, this doctor has just murdered a human" The man spoiled his face as he was very sacred. Without waiting for any scolding, he left the car to check on his victim but to his surprise, the woman didn't look like she had been hurt.

After getting a grip of himself, he moved further to check her state. It was really an advantage that he was a doctor. 

May had only wanted to pretend as if she had fainted but unfortunately, she fell asleep. The doctor narrowed his eyes at the discovery. The young woman was sleeping so peacefully with no sense of safety. That's rare.

"Xing, what is happening?" The annoying cry of the Old Man came from behind. He moved towards the man with his cane. He almost hit the man when he caught a glimpse of a slender lady on the ground. He pushed the doctor away as he inspected the young woman deeply.

"Xing, what do you think of her? She is beautiful? A perfect partner for that grandson of mine" The doctor widened his eyes in disbelief. What was this crafty Oldie saying? He wants to make this stranger his granddaughter-in-law.

"Old Su, are you serious?"

The old man was still thinking as he explored more of the lady before smiling in contentment.

"She is a perfect wife material. Lift her and bring her to the car" The Old Man ordered before joining the car.

The doctor felt he should pity this young woman. Whoever she was, she had landed herself in deep trouble.

"Don't make me repeat myself, Xing!!" The Old Man shouted from the car. Mr Xing gulped down as he made his way to lifting the young lady. Since she was a bit light, it wasn't so difficult for him. He went straight to the back seat and settled her next to the tricky Old Man.

"Take me back to the Mansion" 

Mr Xing paused for a second and his face hardened.

"I don't think that is possible, you have your health to be checked...I am your personal doctor and this is for your sake, we are still heading to the hospital"

"Oh just cut the crap and don't defile my words...turn around and take me back to the mansion" The Old Man grumbled. The doctor wanted to ignore his words but after being given a whack on the head, he reluctantly turned the car around in the direction of the mansion.
