Fucked Up Situation.

After crossing the portal, we ended up on a dense jungle, when I looked up, I saw a tall mountain. (The mountain that you are seeing is fake.) Nyar claimed.

'How do you know?' I frowned.

(I can feel a huge concentration of hidden magic. It is probably a huge Illusion Spell.) She explained.

After hearing what she said, I decided to head towards the mountain with my family following behind me. After we walked through the dense jungle for an hour or so, I stopped. "Something is wrong." I looked around.

Machi nodded at my comment. "We have been walking in circles."

'Nyar, is it possible that we have been in the illusion ever since we entered the forest?' I asked her while I placed one hand on my chin.

(It is possible. However, such illusion would require a huge amount of magic to work.)

'How can we break this illusion?'

(You can use magic to interfere with the original illusion, but that will take too long... or you can use brute force.) I could feel that she was grinning because she knew what I was going to choose.

'I know my choice.' I smiled. "I suggest all of you to back away... and hold on to something." After they did what I said, I looked towards the mountain. "Hunter's Carnival." And the huge wolf appeared behind my back. {What do you wish to sacrifice this time? Will it be your will again?} This fucker was grinning.

'Shut it, Wolfy. Take my right arm.' I extended my right arm in front of me.

{As you wish.} The wolf walked to my right side and bit my arm off before he looked at my eyes. {Amarok.} And disappeared.

Right after he said that, my arm changed to a wolf like arm that had white fur, black tattoo like markings and ice shards across my forearm. After admiring Amarok's arm, my smiled widened. "Cry of the Lonely One." I said as I punched the ground.

When my white fist made contact with the ground, the ground split in two, destroying most of the forest. Suddenly, a dark blizzard appeared that obscured any vision. It was difficult to see a few centimeters away from you. The punch was so powerful that created an earthquake in the surrounding area.

'Tch. We will have to speed up our plan even more, this earthquake must have alerted a everyone in the area.' I shaked my head as the illusion broke and we fell down into a giant underground lab.

After we fell on the ground, I looked at them to see if everyone was ok, but when I looked at Ponzu, she was pouting for some reason. "You need to warn us before doing something like that." She dusted her clothes.

After she said that, everyone nodded while I shaked my head again. "Fine, fine. I'll tell you next time. Now we should focus on the mission." Immediately after I finished saying that, an alarm went off.

Then, a huge swarm of Devils and Fallen Angels rushed to our directon. "This is quite pathetic. Pentagon Strings." With just a single movement of my hands, half of the swarm was decimated right before they even had the chance to speak.

After I gave the signal, my family followed right after my attack. Vergo dashed and broke anyone that entered in his path. Menchi was swiftly cutting them down with her knifes. A swarm of bees was surrounding the ones that are trying to escape, right after they were stung, they dropped on the ground. Dead. Ponzu was as ruthless as always. Machi was hanging them with her strings and Pakunoda was shooting anyone that she found. While this slaughter was happening, I simply walked through it while observing.

After walking for a few meters, I saw that one of the guards was screaming orders. He tried to get everyone in formation but he couldn't because his army was breaking down from fear of their lives.

Suddenly, I appeared right in front of him, he got scared and thrusted his spear at me but I simply catched it with my right hand before I disarmed him and grabbed his throat.

When I looked around, I saw that my family had finished the job. Everyone was either dead or bleeding to death. After I grabbed the soldier's neck, I dragged him to Pakunoda before I threw him on the ground.

Pakunoda crouched and placed her hand on top of his hand. "Where do you keep the research results?" She asked.

"I don't know." He faked.

"What about the place where ou conduct the tests? We should find everything in there." I inquired her.

"Do you know where is located the place you conduct the tests?" She asked him.

The guard struggled before Pakunoda turned to me as she released his hand. "I know it."

"Good. Lead the way." I followed after her.

"What about him?" Ponzu asked as she pointed at frightened guy who looked around and saw that all of his companions met their end.

"I have no more use for him. You can do whatever you wish with him." I shrugged.

"Good. I have a new drug that I created and I wanted someone to test it on." She pulled out a needle before she injected it on the guard's neck.

After a few seconds, the guard screamed. "AHHHHHHHH!!!" This scream was really loud.

The guard began to tremble and squirm before his entire body turned purple and bugs began to come out from every single orifice of his body.

"You already had your fun, let't go. We are on a tight schedule." I told her.

"Yes, yes. Hmm. I still need to adjust my drug." She mumbled.

With Pakunoda leading us, we reached a huge center filled with many Nekomata... or what was left of them. Most of them were dead and the bodies were currently being burned by some guards.

'Idiots. They must have thought that the intruders were already taken care of.' I smiled as I moved my left hand, behading the unaware guards. Not only the guard died, but also most of the Nekomata.

"Our objective is just ahead." Pakunoda said.

After hearing what she said, I used Fire Magic to burn everything down before dashing ahead. 'Weaklings and flawed beings don't deserve to live. Besides, I was being merciful when I killed them, multiple Nekomata were already beyond recognition. They were deformed. So I simply ended their crooked fate before they faced the harsh reality and died anyways. Here... the weak die while the strong prevail.'

After we ran for a while, Pakunoda suddenly stopped. "Why did you stop?"

"This is where they keep their most valuable test subjects, according to the guard's memory." She commented as she looked at a door.

"Are we going stop and see them? Maybe some of them are strong, so they might be a good addition to our family." Machi suggested.

"No. I can't afford to lose time here. The data is my main focus." I shaked my head.

Everyone nodded before we continued to run. We ran for a few corridors before we finally reached what it looked like a door that had the (Keep Out) sign.

Vergo, as the muscle head of this family, punched the door, sending it flying. Inside the room, there was a black Nekomata on top of an operation table with a few people around her, and a white Nekomata being on the side, bound and unconscious. The scientists that were operating the black Nekomata began to panic a lot, after all, the door just hit someone and turned him into meatpaste.

"Overheat." I said as a burning string went around and began to hunt every single scientist.

It swiftly killed them by melting their brains.

"Leave one alive, we still need to extract information from one of them." Pakunoda said.

After the orange string hunted a few of them, two survived but the string was only going to let one alive. When the string was going to kill it's last victim, it was stopped by a Devil.

When I saw this, I lifted my eyebrow, slightly surprised. "I might actually face a challenge in here."

"You dare to invade a research facility of the house of Nebiros, while I, the Leader of the Nebiros house, am here?!" The Devil asked.

I just looked at him. "So, you are Zaorama Nebiros."

(Be careful. He is a Ultimate Class Devil.) Nyar warned me.

"Finally a challenge." I turned to the others. "Focus on their main objective. We must get all the research information in this facility. While you are doing that, I will stop Zaorama." All of them nodded while Pakunoda went to catch the other scientist to gather information and the rest, were looking at and the second in command.

Since Zaorama was at least 5 meters in the air, looking down on me, I released my wings and flew to the same level as him.

"Huff. After I deal with you, I will have a lot to clean up." Zaorama said.

But I ignored him and simply appeared in front of him. I moved my right arm and smashed his head directly to the floor with my Amarok's arm.

*Booommm*.

When his body hit the ground, a huge crater appeared in the middle of the lab.

"I'm rather disappointed." I shaked my head before looking at him.

Suddenly, his mouth expanded, and a lot of acid was spitted out of it, targetting me. In response, I froze it right before it reached my face before I backed away and looked at my right hand and saw that it was completely drenched in his acid, however, I simply waved my hand and the acid was dispersed. The acid couldn't penetrate my wolf skin.

After seeing that his acid did not worked, Zaorama dashed at me and punched me but I dodged it and retaliated with a punch on the chin. After backing away, he placed his hand on his chin. "You have a good punch. What is your name?"

"Does it matter?" I smiled as a huge bubble emerged around us.

Darkness filled everything in a way that I was almost impossible to see.

"Engulf my enemies, Dark Vortex." The only thing that remained, was a bubble of pure darkness.

'According to the legends, Amarok was a wolf said to stalk and devour any person foolish enough to hunt alone at night. And right now, he is alone, in the middle of darkness.'

"Even if I can't see you, it doesn't change nothing!' Zaorama exclaimed.

Suddenly, a shadow flew by and before Zaorama could even notice, his right arm was gone. The only thing that glowed in the dark, was my eyes. I was like a wolf hunting down my prey.

"You bastard! How dare you injure a Ultimate Class Devil like me?!" He was trying to locate me but I appeared on his otherside and ripped his left arm off. "Ahrg! I can't die here! Not until I have killed the current Satans! Help me out, Barbariccia!" He exclaimed.

(Run! You can't fight that.)

I backed away immediately after her warning, right after that, the darkness bubble broke and Zaorama's strenght soared. It was increasing almost nonstop.

"This is not good!" I exclaimed as I looked at him and saw that anything around Zaorama was turning into dust.

Seeing that, I backed away even more.

(I didn't expect meeting one of those artefacts here.)

'What the hell is that?!'

'This old freak must have found one of them.'

(Yes. Since they are living weapons, he must have found a way to put it asleep, or else, it would never obey him. They are weapons only interested in war and if their user isn't interesting then they will kill them on their sleep. Their leader in especial, is really dangerous.)

'How can I fight him, then?!'

(You can't. You just run and pray that he isn't in complete control.)

'Fuck! I can't run. My family is literally on the next room.'

(Even if you use all of your power, you won't have a chance. Not against that. You need to run.)

Since I was indecise at what to do, I felt a huge blow on my stomach. I was sent flying into a wall. I immediately used my strings to stop my fall. When I reached the ground, I vomited a lot of blood.

"Get up." Zaorama said before he kicked me in the chin right after he roundabout kicked me.

Making me fly until I hit the ceiling. 'I must get away from here. If he continues like that, he will kill my family. His power doesn't stop growing.'

Suddenly, Zaorama frowned and looked at a certain direction before he looked at me. "Good luck." And left.

When I turned to where he was looking, I saw a huge army of Devils on the horizon. It looks like the one leading them was one of the Satans, Falbium Asmodeus.

"He, he, he. I'm so fucked."
