Devil Pieces and Rushing the Plan.
(Oemitsu POV)
'It has been 3 days since our last meeting. Sirzechs is taking way too long to give me my Devil Pieces, unfortunately, the only thing I can do is wait for now. I can't force them to give me the Pieces faster.' While I was sitting on the coach with my legs crossed and a hand on my chin, I heard a knock at the door.
"Your father is summoning you. He wishes for you to be present in his Chambers." A maid said behind the door.
'What a pathetic way to show your power, Sirzechs. Congratulations, you have more power than an 12 year old kid. Maybe you should add that to your wall of trophies. What a childish Satan. Well, what should I expect from a sis-con?' I shrugged before sighing and heading towards Sirzechs' office.
When I arrived there, I didn't bother knocking on the door and just entered inside his office. Sirzechs was sitting on a chair with Grayfia behind him, acting like the good little maid she is.
"You called? What for?" I asked.
"Sit down and I will tell you why I called you." He said as he pointed at the chair in front him.
"No. I would rather not. Sitting down means that I have to stay there for a long time and, to be honest, the idea of spending more than the necessary time with you, makes me sick" After saying that, Sirzechs glared at me in a way that no Father would glare at his son.
"Very well. My expectations on you were already low. However, I will still give you the opportunity of getting your own peerage." He said.
"And you had expectations on me? I'm flattered." I said in a sarcastic way, before continuing with my sarcasm. "I'm thankful for the privilege of allowing me to have a peerage. Who is going to take me to Ajuka's lab?"
"Your old teacher, Souji Okita, will accompany you." He said after sighing.
"At least someone I actually respect will follow me." I nodded.
"You should not forget who your true family is." He warned me.
I simply smiled at him before leaving with Souji. 'Be assured, "Father", I will never forget. And it is none of you.'
After being teleported into Ajuka's lab, I met with his secretary and followed her to his lab. After entering a door, I saw all type of inventions and in the middle of everything, there was a young man appearing to be in his early twenties, with light blue eyes and green hair that is slicked back. While I analyzed so called genius of the underworld, it seems that he was doing the same with me. "You truly have a dark atmosphere around you like the rumours say... oh, sorry. Nice to meet you, Sirzechs' son. I have heard a lot about you." Ajuka said.
"Name's Oemitsu. Not Sirzechs' son." I said while I looked around his lab.
"The rumours truly fit your personality." He commented.
"Is that so? I never cared about rummors." I shrugged.
"You truly are an interesting individual."
"I'm nothing compared to you. I normally can build a character profile for everyone I meet in the first 30 seconds, however, you are the third person that I met that I just can't understand." I commented.
"I will take that as a compliment. We should focus on what we came here to do." He said.
I just nodded.
After Ajuka saw that I nodded, he gave me blank Devil Pieces. "You should drain all your power into the Pieces, and, you might get some Mutated Pieces if you're lucky enough."
I just nodded and placed my hands on the pieces. Right after doing it, I felt the Pieces draining all my strenght. 'Damnit! This is bad. If the Pieces drain everything, then they will know my true strenght! I don't want that to happen. Building an underground empire in the underworld is something that I would like to do, and in the beginning, I will need the perfect cover, and as one of children of the strongest Devil and a member of the Gremory family, no one will suspect a thing.' I frowned as the Pieces greedily ate my power.
(I will give you a hand.) Nyar suggested before she prevented the Pieces from draining more of my magical power.
It stopped at Medium-High Class power level. My current level is EX-High Class, almost breaking through Ultimate Class.
"You are a rather talented individual. Being High Class in strenght at your age is a huge accomplishment. Besides, all Pawns being Mutated, together with a Queen, is something amazing. You have 9 Mutated Pieces. This is something that only happened once in the underworld. This is the second time." He looked at me.
"It has been a pleasure. But I have a few matters that need my attention." I told him before teleporting back to my room.
'I can teleport to places that I have already been before. However, since I have never been in Ajuka's lab, I needed a guide. This was rather annoying. Now, the little rat is going to snitch to Sirzechs. Huff.' I shaked my head and looked at my family.
They were resting on the living room.
"Ohh, you are back already? You were rather quick." Menchi commented.
"We should have a couple of hours before I'm summoned back to explain myself." I told them.
"What is wrong?" Machi asked.
"Huff. The Devil Pieces showed my true strength. My parents already suspected that I was getting stronger way faster then normal. But now, they have the proof." I shaked my head.
"Why do we still have a couple of hours?" Shizuku inquired.
"Sirzechs will probably want to confirm it with Ajuka, and considering how busy he is, it should take a while before Sirzechs can get the confirmation." I closed my eyes and began to ponder. 'I was too careless. I should have expected something like that.'
(Calm down. We still haven't lost.) Nyar tried to relieve my mind.
"The mission is still on?" Shizuku asked.
I bit my nail after I heard her question. 'Fuck! It will be a huge risk... however, this are the last hours that I can act freely. Sirzechs will probably do anything to find out why am I getting stronger in such a short amount of time.' After taking a deep breath, I answered her. "Its still on. Even if it is a huge risk, we have to take it."
"What about Pakunoda?" Machi becam restless.
"I will resurrect her right now. Go bring her." I ordered Machi.
After Machi received my order, she sped through through the bedroom and brought Pakunoda's body back in less than 20 seconds. Then, she placed her on the ground and I used a pawn to revive Pakunoda.
After a few seconds and a lights show, she opened her eyes. "Where am I?... I thought that I died." She looked around, confused.
Machi couldn't even wait and rushed to hug her.
"You were indeed dead." I told her.
"So that was what you meant when you said " I will see you later"... since the beginning you predicted this result." Pakunoda said.
I nodded. "What are you going to do from now on? You are in a different world and the Spiders think that you're dead."
Pakunoda took some time to process that she was on another world, after that. "Huff. I will follow you."
This turn of events surprised me and it seems that she could see my surprise.
"It's not like I have a choice, I have already accomplished my oath and died for the Spiders once. I have no obligation to fight for them again. Besides, if what you said is true, then I am on a completely different world, that I have no knowledge of, so following you would be better than just wandering aimlessly and dying in a ditch somewhere." Her hug around Machi grew stronger.
"Fufufufufu. I could be lying, though." I smiled.
"I doubt it. Shizuku is on your side and Machi is crying, if you were truly lying, then either Machi or Shizuku would have said so." She looked at me.
"I would love to explain everything, but I can't because I'm running out of time. We still have a mission to accomplish and little time to move freely. After you have accomplish it, I will explain everything." I told her.
"Let me do it." Machi lifted her hand, to which I just nodded.
"Shiro, did you located the lab of the Nebiros Clan?" I asked.
"I have limited it to two possibilities. Two mountains in the outskirts of the Naberius territory." She said.
"Okay. Pakunoda, can you fight? After all, your body was immobilised for a lot of time." I asked.
"I'm ok. In fact, my body is stronger than ever." She tested her newfound strength when she hugged Machi.
"It is normal. Now that you are a Devil, you are, at least, 3 to 4 times stronger than you were." I looked at the excited Machi.
"A Devil?" Pakunoda asked.
"Machi will explain everything after the mission. Now we have a couple of massacres to commit."
"Now we are speaking my language." Menchi grinned.
'Nyar, open a portal.'
(Done.) After she said that, a portal appeared and I turned to everyone. "We have to do it as fast as possible, so no toying with your opponents." Everyone nodded at what I said. "Leave none alive."
