CHAPTER 7: CONFUSED

After coming out of Sebastian's office Evelyn remembered all the words she said and kept wondering why even after she got hypnotized she didn't say the truth.

She knew she was in a state of hypnosis but she was in control of what to say and how she wanted to say it.It was nice being in control for once or was that half control?She walked towards the waiting room where her dad was supposed to be waiting for her,but there was no one in the room instead she found a video on the screen of her father,she touched the screen and it began playing.

"Evelyn if your watching this video now i should be at the company,i got an emergency call and needed to attend to it.i called Robert and he would be waiting for you outside to take you home". Mr Williams said and the screen turned off.

"Trust daddy to leave unexpectedly and then look for a way to bring his monitoring device in,that guy is always in my space". Evelyn said irritatedly and walked towards the teleportation room.

She appeared in the hall and walked out,this time she was not in the mood to look at the place.Once she got out she saw a very eye catching red sports car 'just stay calm' she said to herself while taking deep breathes

A young man came down from the car,he had colorful pink hair and was wearing ripped out jeans and a white shirt.

"I've told you before Robert whenever you come to pick me up don't come in this flashy red car". Evelyn said while walking towards the car

"it attracts too much attention,i know you've said that countless times" Robert said while opening the passenger seat for her. "i know you don't want me around but i am paid to literally follow you around".

"yeah yeah,your like a fly but i still can't swat you away". Evelyn said

"Am not going to say anything cause i know whenever you leave the sanatorium your always grumpy like you ate a bunch of chilly peppers". Robert said "i don't blame you anyways,who would want to be in this place that looks like it came out of a horror movie".he said looking around the house that obviously looked abandoned

"trust me Robert i wish i had a choice not to be here". Evelyn said as Robert lowered her seat and she closed her eyes to rest."thank you ".

"Your welcome ".He said as he started the car and drove off.

Once Robert's flashy car left, a midnight black car followed them,the driver drove skillfully that he wasn't discovered even after getting to the house.the gate opened,once the car drove in the gate closed. The window of the car following them opened and in the driver seat was Lucas with Jacob in the passenger seat.Lucas was focused on staring at the gate like his eyes could pass through the was and he wished it could.

The car was silent for about 30 minutes

"Lucas you didn't tell me why you kept following that car".Jacob said

"It's her".Lucas said as he smiled "although she is Abit different from my dreams but i can feel it, she's the one".
