Chapter Six: Angle Clair Yves

5 years later,

Angle Clair Yves, the name is simply legendary. Five years ago, out of nowhere an heir to the Yves Royal blood family descendants appeared.Mr.Yves suddenly announced that there was an heir and that she would take charge of his empire. But everyone knows that his wife could not conceive a child and that she had passed away many years ago. Many thought that this new heir was a child of a hidden mistress that Mr.Yves had while his wife was alive.

After the new heir took charge of everything Mr.Yves also declared that he now had a son. Everyone thought that these two people would fight for the position of the heir but nobody expected that none of them wanted the position as the heir. One took their path and became a world-class lawyer Leonardo Lukas Yves while the daughter Angle Clair Yves ignored the Yves Empire and focused on bringing up her own company. She created Star Lush corporation, varying in skincare products for both women and men, makeup, perfume, and jewelry. Even during Star Lush's growth Yves Empire still needed an heir.

Both siblings were expected to fight again but who could have thought they would ignore it once again. Later on, when Star Lush Corporation became stable and was at the top of the business world, it was then when it's CEO announced that it would be merged with the Yves Empire making it even more powerful.

Its resources expanded across the country and now Star Lush not only focused on the beauty market but it expanded to the entertainment circle, fashion industry, medical industry, and many other industries as well. Many thought that her plan had always been to take Yves' empire and merge it with Star Lush but this was not the case. How could they guess that she had to take in Yves Empire because she lost a rock paper scissors game with her adoptive father and adoptive brother?

Till now Star Lush stands in The Top 3 companies in Country B. While her adoptive brother Leonardo Lukas Yves who is 2 years younger then she marked his name in Law. So far he held a reputation of not losing a single case presented to him. He formed his Law Firm and took it to the top in Country B.Even though many thought these two siblings had a terrible relationship nobody knew that behind closed doors they are actually like any other siblings and are very close.

After Ainara was adopted by Mr.Yves she recuperated and trained herself to start her own company. Her adopted father had found Lukas living in the slums. He was still a young only 18 years old and one of them had to take the terrible training of becoming the next heir of the Yves family. Lukas had a hard life already so he did not want to become the heir he only wanted to follow his dreams and make use of the opportunity Mr.Yves gave him. Even though she was very reluctant Clair took on the responsibility.

At some point, her cold heart softened a little and she started to let people in.

During this time she went through a very cruel and tormenting training abroad but this was not even near the pain she had already been through as Ainara Soles. She owned the identity of Angle Clair Yves and she made sure to let it be known. She was given all the classes of ethics she missed after she became an assassin. She went through every class that all princesses and future Queens took. Thankfully, she had enough knowledge about the royal families and it didn't take much time for her to learn all about them.

At the age of 22, she was back in Country B and was introduced to the rest of the Yves royal blood family. This included her uncle and aunt who unfortunately could not produce an heir as well, her grandmother and grandfather. They were all skeptical but after a while, they learned to accept her and Lukas. In the end, they all became very close. Lukas bonded with all of them the most because of his usual happy and carefree nature while Clair was very unaware of how a family works. In the end, despite being a bit cold and aloof she is loved by her new family.

"Clair you have a meeting with the dermatologists in ten minutes, afterward you need to seal the deal with Miss Denis and sign her to our other branch Artiste Entertainment. Then you have an appointment with Doctor Liz." Her assistant and a best friend informed her.

"Mmmm Yaci, Miss Denis is working on 'The gap between us' Right?" Clair asked, sitting down in her chair, Yaci and her assistant closed the office door and nodded."You, yourself secretly wrote the script for 'The gap between us' don't pretend you forgot, you show off." Yaci scoffed and Clair shrugged.

"I didn't mean to brag but…" Clair chuckled and they shared a laugh.

" If you plan on visiting the film set this weekend I'm sorry but it is simply not possible," Yaci informed her with a grin.

Clair shook her head and laughed."And why is that?"

"We need to fly to Country J and sing the contract with DavisJoe Enterprises" Yaci reminded her. Clair nodded and placed one leg above the other. She took out a pen from her drawer and started going over the documents already set in her desk.

"Then I will be visiting the set next weekend. Yaci my brother will be there to visit Jennifer so I will accompany him." Clair told her without looking up.

Yaci nodded. "I will be inspecting the process of 'Rare Beauty' while you are away." She mumbled.

"No come with me and inspect the cast and crew. It's been a while since we watched the shoot. You know I don't trust the reports of those old geezers." Clair convinced her.

Yaci pursed her lips and stopped herself from declining again. After all, even if they are friends, Clair is her boss and orders are orders.

"Okay, then I will go check that everything is ready for the meeting," Yaci spoke and left. Clair nodded, not looking away from the documents in her hands until she heard the door click. She took out her phone and looked through her contacts. When she found 'Lukas' she gave him a call and waited for him to answer.

"Did she agree?" Her brother asked as soon as he answered her call. Clair rolled her eyes. "More like I forced her but yes sure she agreed...you owe me a box of spicy chicken wings brother." Clair responded.

Lukas smiled gratefully and complied with her wishes. "I will ask Doctor Elliot to see if you are allowed to eat a box of Chicken Wings next week and if he agrees it's all yours." He responded and Clair groaned.

'Mr. Yves, she has been eating a lot of trash food lately I recommend you make a healthier menu for her.' She remembered how she was snitched on just because she refused to take her pills. After being snitched on by her doctor she had no choice but to follow a diet monitored by Elliot.

'Damn you, Lee Elliot!' The thought.

"Fine."Clair hung up and sighed. She brushed her red hair to the side and put it into a ponytail. After taking a new identity she decided to still hide her silver hair because she didn't want to be recognized as part of the Soles. She created a personal product that allowed her to keep her hair in one color all day unless it gets wet.

She ended up looking like she had natural red hair. Nobody in the Yves family has red hair which made her stand out. She hated that but she could only have all silver or all red. Fortunately, she still kept her silver hair when she's around her family because she felt safer with them.

Ten minutes later Yaci came back inside and told her that it is time for the meeting. She walked inside the quiet room and glanced over at each of the people there taking notice of every movement and facial expression. Once she had read everyone's thoughts she smiled in approval.

It seems that 'Rare Beauty' has been a success therefore the demonologists are all content. Her smile was momentary because it didn't take long for it to fade away. She became her cold and aloof self once again and took a seat.

"Report."She stated in a neutral tone. This was the start of the meeting and it should go smoothly, or at least that's what the demonologists hoped.

"Miss Yves we got everything set, the launch for 'Rare Beauty' should be in two weeks." The presenter took her seat after she finished explaining. Clair nodded and took a look at her watch."Alright, then I guess this is it for today. I will send you the details for the next project. I see that you're not the top dermatologist for nothing." Clair said and stood up from her chair getting ready to leave. The dermatologists froze in their places. They had worked day and night for 'Rare beauty' to be a success and yet their boss is so indifferent to them?

What did she say?

You are not the top dermatologists for no reason? Should they take that as a compliment? They thought in unison.

Well, the recipe and idea are original from their CEO herself which meant extra pressure because they had to make sure that they could stand at her level.

Yaci looked at Clair and nodded when she shrugged.

"With this said you will receive your bonus for this month today and you can take the week off. You all will still be paid like your regular schedule. Keep up the good job."Yaci finished translating Clair's words into something the dermatologists could understand and left along with her.

The dermatologists dropped back in their chairs, relief spread across their faces.
