Two and half years had passed very quickly, there were two figures standing up together side by side within this blizzard, but strangely enough there wasn't any snow or ice within 10 meters in their surroundings. One of them was a male and one of them was a female. Beside the two of them, there was a figure of a man who seemed to be frightened, but he couldn't utter a voice.

The male beside the female moved his finger and suddenly the frightened man felt that his body was being controlled and his hands made an "X" sign before uttering a spell from his mouth.

"Iced Shell!"

The frightened man quickly turned into ice.

"How is it?" The female asked.

"It's almost done."

The male moved forward and touched the ice. He could feel the consciousness of the frightened man and slowly inserting his magic power in the shape of water within the ice. After that action, the ice slowly turned into water on the ground.

"It's done." The male sighed in relief.

"Is it? But all I can see is that he has become a water."

"I didn't put enough magic power in earlier, but overall, it is possible for me to return her back."

"I believe you."

"Let me take a rest for now, I'll start the ritual tomorrow."

The male massaged his forehead since it took quite a toll on him to use a living human to check his theory.

"Let's go back."

The 10 meter area which was very clear before was instantly covered in both ice and snow.

He walked toward the bungalow together with the female who stood beside him earlier.

Ultear had become 17 years old girl and she had become even more beautiful. She also changed her twintail hairstyle into two loose ponytails. Looking at Bourne, she realized that he had become tall and the height difference between them had decreased. She smiled when she thought about the two and a half years which they had spent together. She suddenly remembered something and brought his clothes to the bathroom.

"Bourne, your clothes. I've placed it on the table."

"Thank you."

Bourne answered from inside the shower.

Ultear didn't get out, but rather decided to peek at him. From the gap of the curtain, she could see his well-built body which was full of power and his long black hair which reached his shoulder. Then her face blushed when she looked at the thing between his legs, since he was very well done on that area.

"Tear?"

His voice broke her daydream, Ultear quickly went out from the bathroom.

Bourne sighed and shook his head. In the next day, he would be able to return Ur back and he was very excited about it. Though.... He looked at his arms then looked at his left arm.

"It's a cheap price."

Bourne, who had taken a bath, went out after he had changed his clothes. He looked at Ultear's figure who was cooking in the kitchen. He laid lazily on the soft carpet and looked at Ultear's back. He had to admit that Ultear had become even more beautiful and her appearance had become even more similar to Ur. He was wondering what Ur's expression would be when she knew that her daughter was alive. He closed his eyes and smiled thinking about tomorrow. He had worked hard for the past five and a half years and tomorrow he would see her back which made him excited.

"Bourne, your dinner."

Ultear brought a hotpot with meat from beasts and vegetables.

"Thank you, Tear."

Bourne was very lazy with Ultear around since she would usually help him in the matter of household. He tasted the food and smiled. "It's delicious."

Ultear smiled and asked, "So tomorrow, right?"

"Yes, tomorrow."

Bourne looked at Ultear and asked, "You're not going to quit from that dark guild?" Of course, he knew about Ultear who had become part of the dark guild. Though, he wasn't sure which one it was since he didn't even get any information from outside after staying in this place for five years.

Ultear stared at Bourne and asked, "After I've quit, you're going to take me?"

Bourne nodded and said, "Of course, the three of us can live together after that." It was hard to make him think of Ultear as a stepdaughter, but it was possible as a friend.

"Three of us, huh?"

Ultear smiled, but then remembered how this guy had always rejected her advance which made her annoyed, but then she smiled sweetly looking at him.

"What?" Bourne felt confused by this smile.

"Nothing, just eat your food."

"Well..."

Bourne nodded, but it might be his imagination that it seemed that the taste of the meat was similar to the soft turtle which he had tasted in the past. 'It tastes good, though.' He didn't think too much and continued to eat.

"Bourne, should your power reach the S-Class magician?" Ultear asked.

"It should be, I've frozen half of this country after all."

Bourne knew that it was related to the tattoo on his arms. He didn't know what its origin was, but it made him strong so he didn't care too much. He thought that it might be related to an innate talent or ability since such a thing wasn't uncommon in this world.

"Then can you protect both of us?" Ultear asked.

"I'll protect both of you." Bourne answered without hesitation.

"That's good, I'm relieved." Ultear laid on Bourne's lap lazily acting as if wanted to be spoiled.

Bourne sighed and felt helpless, but hadn't thought too much since Ultear often did this in the past.

When the dinner ended, Bourne decided to sleep earlier.

Ulteat stared at his back and smiled.

Bourne quickly slept, but then he felt very good for some reason. He thought that it was a dream, but then he opened his eyes and startled when he saw Ultear was right in front of him.

"Tear!"

Ultear shut his mouth by kissing him and her hand continued to knead the thing between his legs. Even though it was her first time, she had learned a lot from the magazine which she had bought secretly.

"......"

Bourne felt that his body was hot, but he quickly pushed her away. "What are you doing?"

"I've been telling you about my feelings for the past two and a half years and you've kept avoiding me, do you think that I'm unattractive?" Ultear stared at Bourne.

"No, of course not. You're very attractive."

There was no way that Ultear was unattractive since her mother was very beautiful, and he knew about her feelings, but his relationship with her mother made it complicated for him.

"Well, that's true, it seems that your body is more honest after all."

It was his luck that it was dark so this girl didn't notice the blush on his face. He felt ashamed and quickly tried to stop her hand from touching that part of him. He knew that he was a hypocrite, but it would be terrible if Ur knew that he had done it with her daughter after she had returned.

"Bourne, don't you love me?"

"Stop!"

Bourne sat and stared at Ultear. "I need to focus on tomorrow's ritual and I need to be in my best state."

"I know." Ultear nodded and said, "That's why, let's sleep together."

Bourne often saw her sleeping into his bed, but of course, he would send her back to her room when he woke up.

"I'm a bit scared...."

Ultear looked pitifully at Bourne.

Bourne sighed and said, "Then let's sleep together, but don't do something strange."

Bourne could feel Ultear's hand on his chest. He opened his eyes and looked at Ultear who was sleeping beside him.

"Yes, believe me. I'll protect both of you."

"Thank you."

Ultear stole Bourne's lips so suddenly which made him couldn't react for a while. She parted her lips and said, "You've stolen my first kiss so I want you to take a responsibility of me."

Bourne was only 12 years old, but why his life was so hard.
