Horsing Around

You walk over to the balcony door before Cat even got the chance to knock, because you'd heard him land.

"Heyy Kitty!" You grin.

"Oh my gosh." He says, starting to laugh.

He'd noticed the pajamas you'd ordered online, which were Cat Noir themed.

The store of course also had Ladybug and other supers, Rena Rouge and Carapace all the time, then a few others at special times.

He detransforms, and Plagg appears, shaking his head.

"You guys can be cheesier than me." He says, looking you both over.

You quickly realize what he meant as you take in Adrien's outfit, the very limited edition Equina pajamas.

"You look pawsitively purrfect, Angel!"

"And I'm not horsing around when I say you look like the mane event!"

He chuckles and follows you inside.

You flop onto the bed and let Adrien curl up with you.

"So, I have an idea." You say.

"Oh? What is it?"

"Well, s/n and my dad are both going to sleeping away on the same night during the weekend."

"OK?"

"And it's just gonna be me and Mom here."

"And your mom isn't as strict as your dad?"

"Yep. So I was thinking we might get to have that sleepover after all!"

"Yay!! I hope we can, I'll have to figure out something to tell Mom."

"Right. Although I haven't asked yet, but I think Mom should let us."

"That would be so fun!"

"Right?! I'm gonna ask her tomorrow, I just wanted to get your input first."

"What, you didn't think I wouldn't want to, did ya?"

"Well I thought you might be against sharing with Shadow all night." You tease.

"I think I can manage." He chuckles.

You giggle and try to pet him.

"Angellll!" He says, scrunching up his nose.

"Kittyyyy!" You respond with a laugh, trying to imitate his face.

"You look so cute when you do that." He says.

"You do too." You retort, making him blush.

"Y'know, to be as flirty as you are, it sure is easy to make you blush."

"Guess I'm still not used to someone flirting back." He grins shyly.

"Hey, I don't mind. You make a cute tomato."

He laughs again, making you grin.

"I think I laugh more with you than anyone else, Angel. Especially during bad times."

"Glad to help, Kitty. Laughing is good medicine."

"Yep! I won't need any purramedics with you around!"

You giggle at his pun, but are cut off with a yawn.

"Are you tired? I can go so you can sleep, if you want?" Adrien suggests.

"Oh, no! I'm fine. I just woke up a little earlier than usual today, Shadow wanted breakfast and then I couldn't get back to sleep."

"Shame shame. don't wake you up early."

"Yeah yeah. You're the best Kitty ever."

"Well, I didn't wanna be the one to say it, but I won't object."

"You're such a dork."

"Still your dork though." He grins.

"Dang right."

He laughs, until Shadow hops onto the bed.

"Well well well, look who it is."

"Don't be mean, Mr. Dork. He really is a good cat."

"Sureee."

You laugh at his jealousy and let Shadow curl up on you, above where Adrien is still laying on you.

"What if I have to get up? I'm gonna be stuck here forever!"

"Nah. Just long enough for a cat nap!"

You giggle, and watch Shadow bat at Adrien's hair.

"Hey!" Adrien protests, moving away.

"He likes your swoopy hair too!"

"Pish posh!"

Before you can respond, your clock beeps, mentioning that it's getting late.

"Ahh, already Midnight?! Ugh. I've gotta go get in bed." Adrien groans.

"You could just stay here!" You say hopefully.

"Wish I could, Angel. But if I do that, there's no way I'll be able to get to school in time."

You sigh, but you know it's true.

"Alright. I suppose I'll let you go."

He chuckles and pulls himself up.

"Goodnight, Angel. I'll see you tomorrow!" He says as he's leaning down to kiss you.

"Goodnight, Kitty. See you later!" You respond when he pulls slowly away after a second.

"Love you." He says, as he gets  closer again.

"Love you too." You whisper just before your lips meet.

He stays a beat longer this time, then reluctantly pulls away.

Of course he shoots a wink your way before going to Plagg.

"Ugh, what? Oh. OK, let's go get more cheese!"

You laugh at Plagg in his sleepy and confused state.

Adrien transforms, then heads to the door.

He blows you a kiss as he closes the door behind him, causing your face to warm up.

You fall asleep after a while, with Shadow still laying on you.

But for that reason, you wake up much too soon, due to his paws digging into your stomach as he jumps off.

"Jeez, cat. Do you have needles for paws?" You groan as you turn over.

But Shadow isn't letting you get back to sleep, as he realizes his food bowl is empty, so he comes and meows in your ear.

"Fine, fine. I'm coming!" You grumble and feed him.

You are able to get a short nap in, but when you do get up, you're happy to find your mother be the only other one home.

"Hey, Mom!" You greet as you look for food.

"Hi, honey. Did you sleep well?"

"For the most part, until Shadow got hungry."

"Oh yes. Cats get very insistent."

"I believe it! You should hear Plagg, he's crazy if he doesn't get cheese!"

"I bet! I don't know how that boy keeps enough cheese around. He ate that entire bag here."

"What?" You ask nervously.

"Oh, y/n. I know they were here that time there was shredded cheese all over the fridge."

"And you didn't tell dad?"

"Well, I think your dad has a tendency to overreact, so I figured it would be best to not mention it."

"Thanks, Mom. So you don't mind me and Adrien hanging out alone?"

"Nah. I trust you both will act responsibly."

"We will. And that brings me to a question."

"What?"

"Do you think, when Dad and s/n are away, that me and Adrien can have a sleepover?" You ask hopefully.

"I don't know about that..."

"Why not? You said you don't mind us being alone, you'll even be home!"

"It's not that, I just know how your dad would react if he found out."

"He won't!"

"Are you sure?"

"Positive! We'll be sure to get rid of any evidence!"

She chuckles, then agrees.

"I guess it'll be alright. But I don't know where he should sleep?"

"We'll make a fort!"

"Isn't that a bit childish?"

"No way! Besides, he probably never got to do that kind of stuff as a kid. So it'll be fun!"

"Alright. Just make sure your father doesn't find out!"

"Don't worry, Mom. He won't suspect a thing!"
