"Sof, I remembered when you told me that it may not be easy to have a relationship with Clark. D-Do you think I should break up?" Claire asked as they settled on her couch. She had no more tears to cry but the sound of her breathing was still unsteady.
"If you want to break up with Clark, wait for Mr. and Mrs. Zhang to bribe you millions!" Sofia easily said with a glint of playfulness in her expression. "Here is a cheque worth one million dollars for you to leave my son!" she added, trying to impersonate a rich billionaire tone. Except, her gesture was too normal that it does not look like she was impersonating at all.
This response made clear giggles, finally lifting her mood a bit. "Yeah? B-But that only happens in movies and TV series. Sof, be serious. I really need your advice!"
