Chapter 3:Beautiful Moments

"Hey Trevor senior",I approached him with a tray of food in my hands,"May I sit with you"I asked him but didn't wait for a reply as I sat directly next to him.

"What do you want this time miss Everest"

"Drop the fomarlities just call me Muriel and I will address you by your name",how about that I said nudging him slightly by the waist.He turned to look at me a bit annoyed "hey no need to stare at me like that okay I just thought you looked handsome and wanted to be friends with you that's all.

"Ohh,I have a condition"he looked at me as if asking for permission to state the condition "what is the condition you have"I asked him,he looked at me for a while "My condition is quite simple you have to be my girlfriend that's all"he said seriously.

I was shocked beyond words, I always had feelings for him ever since I joined second high schools,but I never expected this ice bag to ask me directly to be his girlfriend omg am over the moon right now,I was lost in thought when I heard his voice that brought me back to reality.

Snap!!"were are you lost Little rabbit.

" Huh,am not lost okay am just surprised, if I had known it would turn out like this,I would have asked you along time ago".He looked at me clearly amused by what I said"my little rabbit is really cute,he patted my head warmly.

A warm smile graced my lips at that memory "it was really nice" I muttered to myself as I drifted to another memory

It was my last test for the session I was lost in thought trying to answer my question when I heard the teachers angry voice"Muriel Everest,the principal wants you in his office right now.

"Yes sir,I'll be there once am done with the exam,I said to the teacher who had called out to me."Am sorry to say but you can't complete the exam as you have been accused of malpractice.I was dumbstruck,malpractice was an act that was not tolerated in second high I could lead to an expellsion"What,that's not possible teacher I would never do that I said obviously panicked.Impossible you say go take a look for yourself he looked at me disdainfully as he grabbed my booklet and left.

" Oh God,this can't happen,I said to myself as I ran to the principal's office when I saw Trevor sitting there already,what was he doing here,i looked at him suspiciously.

"Miss Everest,how did you get hold of the answer script,the principal asked looking at the both of Trevor and I.

"I have no idea Madam,I swear I never saw the answer script,I would never cheat knowing the consequence when caught believer me Madam someone is deliberately trying to frame me,I said pleadingly

" Enough,stop trying to protect him,I know he stole the answer script for your own good,you too were the best students in second high I wasn't expecting this from you she said pointing at the both of us with a look of disapproval.

Now I was confused who was she referring I thought to myself when realized what had happened I looked at Trevor in shock,did he take the blame for me,Trevor looked up at me giving me a reassuring smile,that smile that broke my heart into a million pieces,"why Trevor you with get expelled for this and I won't be able to forgive myself.

" Trevor Marquis you are hereby expelled from second high and you Everest you have to do community service during the break you may go,she said dismissing us from her office,I walked out downcast and pulled Trevor to the hallway"Why did you take the blame for me now you are expelled all because of me please go back and tell the principal you didn't do it I can't let you suffer because of me"I said dragging him towards the principals office when he pulled trapping me between the wall and himself"What were you expecting me to do,stand aside and watch you get expelled I am your boyfriend and besides I will be leaving the country to study so don't worry about me he said wiping away my tears he left a soft kiss on my forehead and intertwined my fingers with his,"Little rabbit,do you have any thing planned out for tomorrow he asked looking down at me.

"Not really,I said looking up to meet his ocean blue eyes."Great,then let's go out tomorrow I have a suprise for you,he said giving me a pat on the head.

"Okay,I said smiling at him.

It was Saturday and I was to meet up with Trevor today, I walked up to my wardrobe picked out a kneel length red dress that highlighted my youthful curves and adorned my neck with the necklace Trevor had gifted me,I applied light makeup and packed my hair in a ponytail picked up a pair of black heels and bag,when I was done I stared at myself in the mirror,feeling content with my look I headed out to meet Trevor I was both happy and nervous.

Trevor walked up to me took my hand and left a light kiss on it"You look beautiful little rabbit he said leading me towards a flower garden were a table of two was placed in the center with a bouquet of roses and a bottle of rare red wine,it was perfect for my youthful heart a complete romantic setting I normally saw in movies it was great,he pulled a sit out for me and walked to the sit opposite to mine when the waiter delivered the food,the aroma of the delicacy filled my nose making my stomach growl in hunger I a small giggle in to hide my embarrassment,"Here eat up,he said placing a piece of grilled dragon wings on her plate.They ate in silence,when we were done eating,Trevor got up took my hands in his a placed a kiss on it "Can I have this dance,I gave him a sweet smile "sure,he lead me towards the dance floor when the music started,we moved in harmony I wished this would never end.

"Little rabbit,he said lifting my chin to look at him," Am leaving the country and I don't know when I would be back,but I want you to promise me something,he paused."I looked into his beautiful ocean blue eyes "what is that,I asked him "I want you to wait for me,I don't know when I'll come back but I want you to wait for me no matter what happens I will come back for you,he said looking deep down my eyes like he was staring deep into my soul.

" I promise to wait for you no matter what happens,i looked back at him "I love you Muriel,I love you so much he said as he pulled me closer to himself "I love you too Trevor I said placing my lips on his very thin lips we shared a warm kiss before he embraced me.

Remembering this memory brought tears to my eyes,it felt like yesterday,if only I could go back to those beautiful moments,but those moments cost me her life,I miss you mom and am sorry, I really wished you were here with me now I wouldn't be this confused.
