Humanity's Salvation
The portal opens up in an office of a building with a man sitting on his chair in front of a desk.
"What's that? Who opened this portal?" The man said this as he walked towards the portal. Suddenly, an alarm went off and security personnel rushed into his office and surrounded the portal.
Four people came out of the portal. David falls to the ground, seriously injured and bleeding.
"Help! Pls someone should help!" Naomi said as she cried
The man was in shock as he saw two familiar faces, which were David and Sesilia injured and bleeding seriously.
"Dr. Mark, get here now!" The man said this as he tapped his watch. Jack a middle-aged man who looked fit.
"Don't die on me David help is on its way. You too, Sesilia just stay with me"
A man wearing a lab coat arrived shortly after saying, "I'm here"
"Heal them quickly. My men are putting pressure on their wound to stop the bleeding, but it's not working," Jack said
Dr. Mark then looked at the people on the floor and saw Sesilia and David.
"Alright, you guys should excuse me" Dr. Mark said as he bent over. The people trying to stop the bleeding left and he put his hands on top of their injuries.
"LUMINESCENT MEND" a gentle light, surrounds Dr. Mark's hand and it intensifies due to the severity of the injury. The hole closes shortly after.
"I'm done, now they just need to rest; they will be alright"
"No, can you tell us what happened?"
"We were awakening our mana property, then suddenly we were attacked by 5 assassins. But we were able to escape, thanks to David. But they quickly found us and we fought to defend ourself" Naomi said
"We were able to beat 4 of the assassins, but there was this one of them, named Dexter. He is the one who did this to them" Jake said
"Dexter? You mean the assassin" Dr Mark said
"Akira, he's still there fighting him" Naomi said
"Please, can you save him. He's the one that occupied Dexter while we escaped"
Suddenly, everyone in the building felt an enormous amount of pressure.
~What is this pressure I'm feeling~ Jack thought
Suddenly, Akira walked through the portal and it closed. Then he fell to the floor.
"Akira!! Wake up" Naomi shouted
"Calm down, he'll be fine" Jake said as he held Naomi.
Then Dr. Mark picked him up and carried him.
"Where are you taking him?" Naomi said.
"Don't worry, it will be fine" Dr Mark said "you two carry those two on the floor and follow me"
"What's your name?"
"Naomi" Naomi said
"And you?" Dr Mark asked
"Jake" Jake replied
"Good, Naomi, Jake come with me. All of you are going to stay in the medical ward until you have made a full recovery" Dr Mark said
"But, the assassin?" Naomi said
"Don't worry about him, I took care of it" Akira said in a weak voice.
He suddenly coughed out blood and passed out in Dr. Mark's arms.
"Oh, shit. His condition is bad" Dr. Mark said
"Hurry to the ward"

Back in the office. Jack is talking with someone.
"Did find him?" Jack asked
"No, when we go there, we found four dead assassins and a pair of daggers suspected to be Dexter's" The man said
"Did that boy really beat Dexter?" Jack said
"Commander, I'm not sure. But we did find high levels of mana residuals there, but no trace of Dexter" The man said
"Well, any way, I'm going to enlist the three of them into the program" Jack said
"What! But commander, they look so timid" The man said
"Don't forget about the pressure we felt" Jack said
"And you think it was the kid that Dr. Mark carried" The man said
"I guess the base will get lively very soon" Jack said with a smile.

5 days later in the medical ward. Akira is lying on a bed, he suddenly opens his eyes.
"Ahh… my head hurts" Akira said as he touched his head
~What's this? I sense two... no five people here~ Akira thought as he turned his head looking for where they were.
"It's okay" A familiar voice said
"You don't need to be freighted" Jake said as he walked through a door.
"They are just here for protection" Dr. Mark said
"Who…. are…you?" Akira asked in a cracking voice
"Hey, no need to stress yourself. Your body is still recovering" Dr. Mark said
"Who ...?" Akira asked
"I am Jack and this is my brother Mark" Jake said
"And you're at the Humanity's salvation base"
"The what?" Akira said
"It's an organization that was made as humanity's last stand in the war between realms." Jake said
Thirty years ago, when the realms opened up, humanity was introduced to the other races. Ten years after the realms appeared, the other races attacked the humans, which almost lead to their extermination. But a group of people together with the elves, fairies, angel and gods came together to help humanity as well as to defeat a common enemy.
