Sparring

The next day Sodam, Telos, and I all went to the training facility and started our spar. We had decided to have the gravity as normal as we did so. 

"Do we have to worry about the ship? What happens if we cause damage?" I asked the two considering we were all fairly powerful. 

Sodam laughed at my question. "I tend to forget that you told us that you had never left your planet till recently until you say something like that. The type of forcefield within the training area absorbs most vibrations whether that be sound or physical impact. Power such as light, magic, or any of the elements can not be used though. It would be best to fight with only your physical power"

"Understood" I replied as I got into a fighting stance before speaking again. "Who's sparring with me first?" 

Telos spoke up first. "I'll do it. I have been somewhat sick of training with the same person for so long and Lola isn't the fighter type, she's the brains of our bunch as you have seen. So I have pretty much been limited to only fighting Sodam for quite a while". 

"Okay let's start" I said as Telos and I both got into our fighting stances. Telos didn't look like he was wanting to make the first move even though I was displaying openings so I couldn't help but ask why. "Not going to come at me first?" 

Telos shook his head. "I don't mean to offend, but our race is very powerful and I wanted to see how strong you were first so that I don't over do it". 

I was dumbfounded. Sure Daxamites were physically stronger than Kryptonians, but in an overall fight with a Kryptonian they would likely lose due to the fact that they lacked control of said powers. A Daxamite teenager will usually have the strength of an Adult Kryptonian because they can process the suns radiation better. Although I hadn't fought with Superman to confirm it, I was pretty sure I was stronger than him. How much stronger could a Daxamite be?

"Don't hold back, my race given time can be the strongest on any planet, not only that I am plenty strong already". My words probably sounded a little cocky and over confident to them, but I was only being honest.

Telos seemed uncertain. "Still, id feel more comfortable if you were to go first". 

He didn't have to ask me twice, hearing his concern somewhat hurt my pride. I was at base form, but I was still very fast as I was in front of him in less than a second throwing a punch. 

'BOOOOM' I felt the impact of my fist hitting his muscle which sent him flying to the wall of the ship. I was happy to see that the impact had indeed been nullified by the training facilities shields as I watched Telos stand back up looking somewhat awkward. 

Sodam was on the side laughing uncontrollably. "That was hilarious! Telos, I don't think you need to worry about your opponent". 

Telos ignored Sodam and made his way back in front of me as we both resumed our fighting stances. This time he made the first move as he ran towards me and punched out. His blow was so fast that I couldn't see it. I instinctively threw up my guard, but sadly there was no use as the blow broke both of my wrist and sent me flying just like I had previously done to him. 

Standing up, I felt great aside from the broken bones that were currently being mended at a quick pace. I was aware that Superman only ever showed a percentage of his power on Earth and could very well be a lot stronger than I thought. It was hard to tell really, Daxamites being physically stronger than Kryptonians as a whole made me wonder if I could even win in a fight without using other powers aside from physical, especially considering Telos's first blow alone had broken some bones. 

"I seem to have injured you, this is why I held back and even now I am still holding back" Said Telos. He was clearly bitter after being laughed at by Sodam and was trying to make a point. 

I laughed at his provocation. "It was nothing but a couple broken bones that have already healed, we can continue. Also just so you know, I have also been holding back greatly, so as I have said before, please do not hold back". 

Not only do Saiyans have a great healing ability, but my bones were extra durable, coated in the systems metal, and also quite literally magical. The fact that he was even able to break my wrist bones was a testament to his strength. He also mentioned he was still holding back.

"I won't hold back any further, please respect me enough to do the same" I said as I began to power up. "AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" It was still a little trouble to reach SS1 and I could not turn it on right away. It took effort and concentration. 

As the gym equipment around me started to levitate, the aura around me flashed white and then yellow as I pushed myself harder trying to break into SS1 once again. Finally, my hair started to flash a bright yellow. Arcs of electricity flashed around my body as my aura and hair had finally both began to glow. Finishing my transformation, I was met by two extremely shocked gazes.

"Where exactly do you come from Aeric? Ive never seen anything like this. Your change in strength can be felt. I would think there would be tales of your race throughout the cosmos by now". 

"My planet and race aside from myself was destroyed long ago, for now I reside on a planet called earth as one of it's main protectors". I had no problem telling them I lived on earth. They seemed like good enough people and it's not like I gave them coordinates to get there. This much information sharing seemed okay.

I got myself back into my fighting stance. "Now let's begin" 

I planned to fight Telos using only strength and martial arts, I did not want to use my speed until I knew he could keep up with me and ki blasts or Magi heat vision weren't an option due to the nature of the shield around the training room.
