The ball-hits pleasure

Petra was beyond surprised when she had received the text from Doctor Davis Hernandez that she was going to a ball with him. As much as she wanted to decline, she thought of how much of help he had been to him and so decided to take him up on the invite.

The ballroom was beyond glamorous as it was lit up by various colors of lighting, which reflected on people's dresses, causing them to look more fabulous than she had imagined. She was indeed stunned at the fanciness of the guest present at the occasion.

Petra felt she was underdressed as she walked along with her boss, greeting the other guests. They also greeted her, and she responded with either a simple handshake or a smile that depicts openness.
