Madison's POV
Mary and I woke up on the wrong side of bed with a throbbing headache due to the consumption of Manhattan cocktails last night.
Last night was fun and awesome to have gone out and have so much fun in a long time.
"Maddy, last night was so much fun, just that I am still feeling dizzy." Mary chatted walking into my room.
"So do I but have asked the maids to make us a cup of tea that will help seize the throbbing headache."
"That's better."
"Last night was the best night I've ever had in a long while."
"It was totally the best."
"I was so shocked to see one of my pals in the same club."
"That's a coincidence."
"Totally. That's one of the best clubs where we hangout together and seeing her there makes me super happy."
"Did you remember what she told us? Pertaining to her business party tonight."
"Yeah, I remembered. We're going to attend it."
"Okay but we didn't think of taking along a sexy dress for any party, remember.?"
"Forget about that. We're going shopping right now for the dresses."
"Awwwn....this is going to be extra fun."
"I'd told you this trip is going to be fun packed."
"It's going to be a fun ride . We're sure going to look hot for the party."
"Sure, we are."
~LATER IN THE DAY AT THE KING'S PLAZA, NEW YORK CITY~
"Babe, I love this . Let's pick the same style and colour."
"I love it as well."
"How about the heels and purse? What colour will fit with wine?"
"Black of course." She rolled her eyes.
"Great, let's check for beautiful heels or stiletto heels, anyone." I suggested.
"Sounds great!" I answered, as we proceeded to the heels section and began to search for any beautiful shiny heels or probably stiletto heels.
"After long minutes of searching for a pretty one, we spotted a beautiful one more like a special one with its unique shiny colour.
"Are you staring at that too?" I asked Mary who was also looking in the direction.
"Yes, it's like a special premade for a bride."
"We're picking them, babe."
"Fantastic."she chuckled.
Mark's POV
"I don't know if it is a good idea for you to go alone without Alex or me."
"I'll be fine brother. You both have been looking after me but now I need a little time alone to chill out. Is that so much to ask brother?" She inquired, almost tearing up.
This is the last thing I'll ever do to make her cry. I need to let loose on how she wants to live her life.
"Alright sis but Jonas and Leo will go with you and that's final."
"No problem, brother. You're the best brother in the whole world."
"And you're the best too. I can do anything just to see you happy."
"Thanks brother."
"You're welcome. I'll arrange for the dress you'll wear for the party."
"I already got it myself." She blush.
"Alright. I'll leave for the business meeting then. Make sure you look out for yourself and do call out to Leo or Jonas when you feel something is off, okay."
"Okay brother."
"I love you." I hug her and kiss her on the forehead.
"I love you too brother."
I can't let anything happen to her because my enemies are after her. They will never get the opportunity to get to her. That's why I've been very careful in protecting her and keeping watchful of every person she knows not to fall into any trap planned by my enemies.
There is no way anyone will harm my sister again and ever go scott free. I'll seek vengeance for her and our father.

Casabella's POV
''If you don't finish all the chores I assigned to you , you're going nowhere "don't worry about me , aunt. I'll even be done before you know it. "There is no way I will let her make me avoid the party. It is an opportunity of its own I have been waiting to get and since it here, why let it slide.
"I hope so." She huffed while I continued scrubbing the floors.
I hope I get to see someone so kind as to lend me a phone to call Mr Henry.
I want to ask for a big favour from him and I hope he will be willing to do it for me.
"Mum, I don't feel good letting this witch to that party."
"I'm sorry dear.we've to take it that way.i just can't think of any idea to stop her from going also I don't want to break jace's heart."
"Do you mean, Jace is more important than your daughter's happiness?"
"I'm so sorry darling you do know that's not true, I don't want Jace to see me or your father as bad people."
"Forget it mother. All you know is your own selfish interest, nothing more. "She yelled and stormed out of the house while Lora broke down in tears.
"This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't come into our lives. You've been a curse to me ever since I set my eyes on you."she lashed out at me with anger.
This is just an iceberg, more will still come. It is called karma for all the things she and her daughter have been doing to me. They will regret ever hurting an orphan who cried countless times just because of them.
" I cursed the day my husband thought of bringing you into our lives. Nothing but a bad omen to everyone at large and I pray you encounter what you have made us go through ."
Impressive. Those words should be mine to say, not her's. She knows I have done nothing to them but won't accept that fact.
"I hate you with all the guts in me and someday, you will pay for these. I'll make you hate your existence. "She thundered and walked up to me.
This isn't what I planned for today. I really don't want to get into any argument or whatsoever with her or anyone.
"You will pay for this." She screamed trying to slap me but I stopped her with my hand.
"As much as you hate me, you've got to accept that karma is a bitch. Whatever you did to me is what you're experiencing and you haven't experienced anything yet l. Don't think I am happy living here, having to see you guys tormenting my life.
The pain and suffering is just becoming too hard for me to endure any longer. I'm also human, why should I have to go all through this pain.
"How dare you?" She scoffed and slapped me on the face.
This is becoming too much, annoying and as well as crazy.
"Lora!!! Don't make me angry any further. I'm only trying to control this anger because of your husband. If he hadn't warned me, I would have made you pay for hitting me." I bellowed, making her shiver in fear.
"You... you little brat."
"You don't have any right to lay your hands on me or even control me just because I don't take everything you do to me too far but that has to stop today and right now. I won't allow you to keep treating me like trash and keep blaming me for your unlucky times. You've got to deal with it just like I've been doing with you guys."
"Wow! This is shocking. You've grown wings to talk back to your uncle's wife this way. Let me make something clear to you, just because Jace got you that expensive dress and shoe for the party doesn't mean he will have anything to do with you. You're just dreaming and I can't even let that happen, not when I am alive. You're only a gold digger and a witch, that's what you are."
"I wish that was true but the reverse is the case. You and your husband are the gold diggers for taking someone else's possession. Do you think you can get away with that name? That's what you guys are!"
"Watch your words!"
"And watch the manner in which you call me names. And about Jace, I don't have anything to do with someone like him so save all that drama of the dress aside and moreover I wasn't the one who agreed to his demands."
"It was my mistake and I regret ever agreeing to it. I wish I had told him to take Annie with him, it would have been so much better. Someone like Annie deserves a man like him not you!"
"Oh, really? Well, let me tell you something. Annie will never see someone to love her. Do you know why? Because she picked up your ways and it is already affecting her so no man will want to put up with that kind of woman."
"Just wait and watch how my daughter will win a man's heart with her beauty. But you? You're just ugly, only using a witch spell to make you look beautiful."
"Cut the crap, Lora. You and I know, your daughter is no match with my beauty so save your words." I beamed and walked away, leaving her in a raging state.
