"There's nothing to be scared of with the rain, my dear little flower. Neither should you fear death."

Anna's hand trembled but she refuses to cry. If she did, she'd be accepting the sad truth that her grandmother was slowly dying in the hospital bed.

The heart monitor beside her indicated her slow heartbeat. It beeped every few seconds, matching the steady rhythm of her chest rising and falling.

Anna couldn't do anything about it. She was left to stare from the crystal that separated her from grandmother.

"This… we knew this was going to happen." Elijah put an arm around his sister, gently pulling her to him.

Anna let her head fall on his shoulders.

"We did. But still, it doesn't make the pain any less."

"I know. It's like back to that night, isn't it?"

Anna lifted her head and took her brother's hand in hers.
