"No, Uncle… nothing happened between us," Daniel said while sounding calm. He even cleared his throat a little to neutralize the strange pitch of his luring. Daniel could not let his Uncle catch up with his anxiousness.
"Hahaha...don't try to fool me, Danny. We have a deal, don't we?" said the voice to push more at Daniel. Daniel's face sounded a little worried. He had to be careful. His mission was not to fall in love with Delilah, though it failed.
"I will never lie to you, Uncle. You know, I will always keep my words to you. I'm approaching Delilah as you told me to." The man behind the phone laughed sarcastically again. Daniel was getting worried right now. The laugh was not a good sign.
"I don't see that in those gossip magazines. You guys are holding hands like people on a date!" he chirped to Daniel.
That's it again, and Daniel was so annoyed to hear that. Everyone forbids him to hold each other's hand.
