Cancelled sabofgasafaf

I want you to imagine a world in the future. A future that has seen a third World War. A future where the technology is 5 times more superior than ours. But now imagine that future's people at the brink of extinction. Imagine their technology now completely useless after 99% of the population had died. What would that world look like? A calamity called the Impact granted human survivors unnatural abilities that get stronger the less humans there are. And unlike in the past, wars wouldn't be waged for wealth or land, they would be waged to get stronger and dominate the world. Our MC hates the thought of his species facing extinction. And so, he follows two goals; taking revenge against his brother that betrayed him, and making sure that humans don't cause their own extinction because of greed.

Rebirth

I laid down and made myself comfortable. I closed my eyes and focused just on my thoughts. I stopped seeing the Mana particles all around me, even the Mana circulating in my body.

Just seconds after I stopped sensing and seeing Mana, I felt the pain of my fractured ribs. It was bearable, not too painful, it felt like something hot was on my rib-cage.

It was hard, trying not to think about my plans or focusing on my surroundings. The worry that something outside of my influence would disturb my plans kept nagging me.

Tsuki was a girl my age, who was also a Bearer. Her ability, 'Intuition', is probably one of the best Salan abilities to exist. An example of her ability: If she was eating and her the food was poisoned unbeknownst to her, her ability would make her feel that something was wrong with the food. Or she decides to go somewhere to scout, she would feel if danger was there or not before even going there.

'A Salan ability that is similar to clairvoyance. I hope she doesn't betray me' My last thoughts before I fell asleep.

"Open all the doors!!....You must be a cockroach....Kill him!!" I dreamed. My father telling me to open the doors while Salan was falling towards the earth, my brother mocking me and crushing my hopes of being saved when I was under the rubble and Melina, who ordered her companions to kill me. She made me take multiple lives of people whose names and faces I don't even remember anymore.

I struggled and tried to regain control over my thoughts and dream, all for nought.

The most painful memories caused by an asteroid. It made me furious that something akin to a natural disaster made my life miserable. If it was a person causing me pain, I would simply take revenge, just like I did to Reus. But I couldn't get revenge on an asteroid. Not even the scientists could have known that an asteroid would stop in it's tracks, just to crash onto the nearest planet.

The memories played tens of thousands of times in my head. My anger replaced with sadness and my will weakened every seconds. The memories started to fade and get darker until I couldn't see anything. My consciousness was in a void, empty of any life, light, and objects. I had totally lost my perception of reality wen I was in that void.

3 humanoid figures appeared, each with a different color. One blue, one red, and one black.

"We're a part of your soul, freed by the Mana." The figures said each in a different tone.

The blue figure sounded like someone I would hate for no reason.

The red figure sounded angry and arrogant, its chin was up and I felt like it was looking down on me.

The black figure spoke quite calmly, its body radiated pure confidence, strength and patience.

Before I could start to think of any plausible explanation the figures spoke again "We are you, your character and appearance."

I started to understand, those were characteristics of mine.

I unconsciously went to grab the red and the black figures' silhouettes. They started to drift into my non-existent body and as they did, I saw the blue figure looking sad and disappointed.

The 2 figures disappeared and I started to feel proper emotions again. The previous memories came back, but this time I didn't feel sadness, hopelessness, fear and regret. I started to feel confidence, hate and relentlessness.

It felt as if my perspective or mindset changed.

I woke up at sunrise. I slept around 7 hours.

Tsuki was watching our hostages and looked over to me when I moved. My body was healed from all the injuries. The fatigue completely gone, both mentally and physically.

I stood up, stretched my arms and legs and put my clothes and weapons back on.

"Bring me to this Mul-Soo." I ordered Alejandro while mixing Mana into my words, making them leave a feeling of coldness in his mind.

The scared Alejandro completely lost his composure after my words. He started to shake and sweat profusely.

I managed to control his mind with fear. He would do as I said, unless he was stopped by someone, who he either feared as much as me or respected more than he feared me.

"Untie hem. They'll gladly bring us to their leader, right? " I said to Tsuki then to Alejandro's group.

"Yes!" They all answered.

We walked after Alejandro. He was in the front, after him his comrades, then Tsuki and then me.

My Katana was unsheathed and I would activate my Salan ability once in a while to make them gravitate and bump to each-other. This way they would know I had my ability active and that they had no chance to escape.

"S-Sir, we'll be there in 2 minutes." Alejandro stuttered.

Not even a minute passed and 8 people gathered all around us. Their strength was comparable to Alejandro's.

"Bring me you leader or I'll make you eat your comrades' corpses." I threatened as I expanded my cold aura.

"You're looking for me." A voice came out from under a manhole.

Water rose from under the manhole and pushed it into the air. A guy my age appeared from where the water came from.

He was 175 centimeters tall, had black hair and brown eyes. His nose and lips thin with a sharp jawline. He had no manly features. No toned muscles, his Adam's apple was barely visible, no facial or body hair and a soft voice. He looked like a K-Pop idol. He wore swim-shorts and sandals, nothing else. 'I think I saw his face somewhere before..'

"Oh I know you, you're Ha..." I dashed to him and pointed my Katana at his throat to make him shut up and not mention my brother's name. I remembered where I saw him. He was in Haru's gang before the impact.

"I'll cut your tongue off and make you swallow it if you mention his name in front of me and anyone else. Are we clear?" I threatened him while using my Mana to pressure him.

Mul-Soo was surprised to see me overpower him in an instant, his eyes were wide in horror and his legs started to shake.

He regained his composure "Yes. Let's forget what happened. I see my men managed to follow my orders. I ordered them to bring supplies to our comrades, and they did.

'He sent his men to give us his supplies, he didn't even care what would become of Alejandro's troop. They are expendables' I realized 'This Mul-Soo doesn't seem too bad'

I started laughing, surprising everyone "You brought me food and water, I'm thankful for your generosity. You even sacrificed you men to do so, admirable!"

"Yes, my Salan ability lets me sense if a place is drained of its Mana. Only Bearers and individuals like HIM can cause a place's Mana to be drained. I sounds hardly believable, I know, just listen to my explanation. The more Mana is in the environment, the more water I can create. Thus I feel by instinct where it's easier to create water." Mul-Soo explained.

"Interesting ability.. Say, is HE not a Bearer?"

"Can't say, I can only say he killed 4 Bearers from the African Kingdom. And the place they fought was drained of any Mana for hours."

'Let's forget him for now..' I thought as I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth in anger.

"I would have done things the same way you did, so don't take it personal. In the end it was ME who was a pawn in your plan."I said and dashed towards Alejandro's group.

I swung my Katana horizontally and slashed through every single one of them. They couldn't even budge because my ability prevented them from moving.

*Splash*

Their intestine fell out from their bodies and created a large pool of blood with a radius of 4 meters.

Tsuki's face paled and she threw up. Members of Mul-Soo's gang did the same. No one expected to see any gore in what seemed like a calm and collected conversation between 2 Bearers.
