(Alarm plays)
Vanessa: (turns off the alarm) Ugh... Why did I put an alarm for Saturday?? It's 7:45... Well, let's go see some Rick & Morty... (picks chocolate milk) Breakfast first.
(Phone rings)
Vanessa: *sigh* What now?
Michael: Come on, pick up, pick up...
Vanessa: (picks up the phone) WHAT?! Ups... Sorry, if I screamed in your ear, Mike...
Michael: No prob...
Vanessa: Anyway... What the hell do you want, at 8 in the morning, Mica?
Michael: Huh... It's nothing special, is just... Can you and Roderick come to my house this afternoon? 'Cause... I found something nearby it, and I think you really need to-
Vanessa: Is it about what happened to Roderick?
Michael: Huh... yeah?
Vanessa: *sigh* I'll be there. By the way... How are you already woke up? It's 8 AM, and it's Saturday, man.
Michael: Same to you.
Vanessa: That's because I accidentally put an alarm for today...
Michael: Really?... You suck... Ha-ha-ha-ha!!
Vanessa: *sigh* Mike?
Michael: What?
Vanessa: Does your mom knows that you're already up??
Michael: No. Everybody's sleeping, except me.
Vanessa: Same.
Michael: Soooo... Whatchya doing?
Vanessa: I was... going to watch Rick & Morty since my parents didn't wake up yet...
Michael: Lady, that's for +16, you're 14.
Vanessa: It's just 2 years of difference!!
Michael: *sigh* Ok, you're the one who decides your life, so... I think I should try to call Roderick now...
Vanessa: Do you think Roderick is already up??
Michael: Mmmm ... I doubt it. Well... See 'ya later.
Vanessa: Bye...
Michael: (hangs up the call)
Vanessa: I... love you... *sigh*

3:15 PM
(doorbell rings)
M's Mom: Howdy!
Roderick: Hey, Mrs.!
M's Mom: Roderick! Come on in!
Roderick: Hey, Mike, how' ya doing?
Michael: I'm fine.
Roderick: Wasn't... Is Vanessa coming too tho?
Michael: Yup, but she didn't arrive yet...
Roderick: You tried to call her?
Michael: It went to her voice-mail.
(doorbell rings)
Michael: (opens the door) Vanessa, you came!
Vanessa: I said I would come. So... Why did you call us here?
Michael: Come with me.
Seconds later...
Michael: I found this book, nearby my house. (picks a very old book) I... Took a look at it, and apparently talks about an old story, that happened a long, long time ago. Like, 900 000 years ago.
Vanessa: Wow, that's old. Reeeallyy old...
Roderick: Indeed. What that story is about?
Michael: I don't know. That's why I called you here.
Roderick: Huh... Mike?
Michael: Yeah?
Roderick: May I... Look at the cover?
Michael: Huh (looks at Vanessa)... Sure... (gives Roderick the book)
Roderick: (picks the book) Ummm... Well, you're lucky I know a friend that knows this book.
Michael: Wait... What?
Vanessa: A friend?
Roderick: Yup. His name is Wally, he's cool!
Wally: Sup!
Vanessa: Wow! Who are you?
Wally: I'm Wally, I'm a werewolf. Nice to meet you!
Michael: You're a what?
Wally: A werewolf! Ha-ha! Know it's weird, but I was the one who saved this boy's life!
Michael: Ok... 2 questions. 1- You have healing powers? And 2- If you were the one who healed Roderick, how did you heal him without being there, like... Invisibility, or something?
Wally: 1- Yes and 2... Yes... Like, is more than me in the team. There's a ton of people there! 27 magic humans, plus the Guardian of Imagination and AUs... Ink...
Michael: Wait... Do you mean Ink?... Ink! Sans?
Wally: Yup, dude. He's the leader. Everybody likes him, like, he helps everyone with their dreams. (picks the book) Ink was the only one who had this book because he's technically the origin of it, so... I think, if this book fell here to your house, I'm pretty sure, that you're going to be the next Guardian!
Roderick: Oh my God! Mike, you know what that means?
Michael: That I can finally do something in my life, except being with you?
Roderick: That you can draw better than Vanessa!
Vanessa: Hey! He... I actually think that he already draws better than me... (blushes)
Michael: H-Huh? (blushes) Huh, I-I mean... Thanks, but seriously, you're the artist here... You know that I put everything in the trash, you know?
Vanessa: If I say that you're an artist, you're an artist, don't ever say "no" to what I say about you, ok?
Michael: ...ok...
Roderick: Huh... Guys? We're still here...
Wally: Oh, don't worry, let the love birds be...
Vanessa: (blushes) W-we not dating!!
Michael: Exactly! Me and Vanessa are just friends, ok? We're never going to be more than that!
Vanessa: I mean... Who knows?
Michael: ...?
Wally: Alright, guys, listen up, ok? I think the legend of this book is a little bit messy since it was written by followers that heard about us, so... Ok... (opens the book)
"Everything started, 900 thousand years ago.
Angel Miguel, proposes to the Light, to create a guardian to watch over the Earth, who also helped everyone who liked to create their own things and motivate them to continue what they most love to do.
The guardian, as he loves to create, mainly with ink, was given the name Ink."
Michael: Wow... So that's the origin of Ink's name? *sigh* Really?
Wally: Yeah, it's kinda weird, but you know? His name origin isn't that important, comparing to what's happening next...
"One day, Ink told the Light there was something strange going on, on Earth. Angel Miguel decided to send Ink to deliver each magical soul to humans, that represents something similar, with the personality of each soul. There were 28 souls, strong enough to defeat whatever went wrong on Earth."
Roderick: 28 people? Wait... Does that mean what I think it means?
Vanessa: *gasp* Our class. So apparently putting us together, isn't just a coincidence, huh?
Wally: *sigh*
"They found that it was not a thing of the Earth itself, but of its depths. Demons, who attacked the people of Earth and everything around them.
Ink knew that talking would not be the solution to this fight. So he decided to confront them and ask them who was the leader. He and his army couldn't believe it, who they were going to face now.
The Dark.
Ink and the "mortals" of magical souls went to him but did not fight. Ink made a deal that would happen every 50 years, and that the Dark would try to "destroy the Earth" as he always wanted, and then Ink, and another army of "mortals" with magical souls would have to defeat him.
The price of each was both fair. If Ink would lose, the Dark would have the Earth, but not to destroy it, just ... transform it into an underworld whose suffering would be infinite. But if the Dark would lose, the humans who helped Ink to the end would live forever."
Vanessa: So that means, that if we defeat the Dark and his demons, that means that we live forever?
Wally: Yup, me and the rest of the crew can prove it, 'cause WE... are the first humans of the first war!!
Michael: So you have 900.000 years old?
Wally: I have 900.020. You have the count with the actual age I "died"...
"And it has always been so ..."(closes the book)"until now ..."
Michael: Hold on... Did you die?
Wally: You have to die, to have one of the magical souls, dude. Like him, but isn't totally magical yet... He needs Ink, so he can live again, like a normal person, but with powers!!
Michael: And what happens, if Ink doesn't help him?
Wally: Then you can say goodbye to your friend, if so...
