How can I forget my heart

After breakfast, Her Highness told Leo that she wants him to stay till evening as she had something to discuss with him. Leo had to agree no matter what he couldn't afford to offend Her Highness, he wanted to go his penthouse so badly because he needed some time alone in peace.

Like the sunset, Leo took his leave and drove by himself to the penthouse. He reached in 30 minutes, he didn't care about taking a shower and directly went to his study room which was a miniature form of his office. He sat down on the chair and turned around while his back facing the table and he lost in his thoughts.

When the darkness completely enveloped the whole room then he finally swirled his chair and put his both hand on the table and covered his face with both palms, he had never thought that his life would get complicated like this just in the few hours. He was going to be the villain in his own story if he had to rescue his princess.

He stands up and turned the lights and again sits down on the chair. He took out his phone and called Jennifer she was in the same penthouse but he was too lazy to go out and shout her name. But no one received it in one ring he called her again and finally, she picked up at the last ring.

Jennifer was sitting on the bed and was reading the books she had brought with her as she had known her brother is going to leave her alone after reaching City A. She was reading a very interesting part of her novel when her phone's ringtone disturbed her. She thought of ignoring the call without even seeing who was calling her. She just put the phone under the pillow and didn't pick up and started reading her novel again with a subtle smile but her phone buzzed again and disturbed her, she picked up the phone from bed and saw that her brother is calling her. She got even angrier and received the call,

"you finally remember that you have a sister in this city huh?" Jennifer said

"How can I forget my own heart," Leo replied, he know she was mad at him for not giving her time.

Jennifer got pleased with his reply and her anger disappeared in thin air but she didn't want to let him go easily. She also knows that he could judge from her tone that she wasn't angry with him anymore still she tried her luck.

"Who is your heart I'm not your any heart or anything, when your official girlfriend will come she would be your heart, I'm just a poor girl whose brother didn't even care for her," Jennifer said.

"Jennifer! Never ever think of that your brother doesn't care for you, I care for you more than anyone else in the world," Leo replied.

"I know brother I was just unhappy when you didn't call me the whole day, by the way, where are you it's very late already, are you even coming today or not," she stopped teasing him and replied.

"ok ok don't be unhappy anymore I will compensate for this some other day and give you a big gift as an apology and I'm already in my study room come here I had something to tell you," Leo replied.

"Perfect, you better not forget about it and prepared a very big gift ok," after saying this she directly hung up the phone and ran directly towards Leo's study room.

After reaching into the room she ran and hugged him directly while Leo was looking outside. Leo smiled rather hug her back, he strokes her head and peck on her forehead. She frees him and asked, "what you wanted to tell me."

Leo told her to sit on the coach and he sat beside her and recited his half plan to her. Hearing that Andrea wasn't kidnapped and she is still safe and sound, she was baffled to the core and gaps a little. Leo told her how Her Highness kept her away from everyone.

After their long discussion, Leo told Jennifer to sleep early as she had to execute his plan from tomorrow. Jennifer left the room after wishing good night but she didn't know that Leo had lost his sleep.

Leo walked towards the window and started staring blankly in the darkness and thought that at least his future wife is not fully useless. She was pursuing her graduation in architecture. She is a very bright student, she will be able to take care of some of his hotels in addition to her immense power. There was something they could talk about, a topic that could break the wall between them.

Leo stopped his train of thoughts and picked her file,

'She kept a very busy schedule', Leo thought as he looked at her schedule for the ninetieth time, though he need not as he had memorized it after looking at it so many times. She was not bad looking either but was not a beauty queen either. Just one step up from ordinary but he can make it work for him.

There were other matters that needed his attention but he stopped paying attention to his other work and told his secretary to handle the small matter for him and don't disturb him until it's not something important that his secretary can't handle herself.
