I won't kill them

'Stupid system. You know killing is against my policy.' Victor received a complicated bonus mission. He was no killer. In the trial he would kill all those that challenged him, but when it came to real life he refused to hurt anything.

He's never even had any blood from a humanoid creature before. Vampire children would start out on animals because the blood from humanoids are so addictive. And worse the blood from an actual human would make them want to start a neverending bloodbath.

Victors case was weird for Margret since vampires grow far stronger drinking the blood of humanoids, but the moment she offered her blood when he was ten he complained.

Victor was torn between two decisions. Try to fight or try to flee. Both were stupid ideas. Fighting not one, but many stronger opponents makes no sense. On the other side of things out running werewolves is not something many have ever done and if it's a whole pack, not a single creature in the world has done so. Even lone dragons have fallen to packs of werewolves.

Victor didn't have much to go on so he chose to do something I credibly drastic. "When they come for us Margret tell them we fled into the forest. Hide these two in your house. My nose can't smell anything, but alcohol so I'm sure they won't get a much better scent." Margret was about to smack the boy for coming up with a dumb plan like this. She even disregarded the remark he made about her drinking habit.

Margret understood quickly what the boy was going to do. Victor planned to hide in the forest and use it to his advantage. Yeah use the enemies turf against them. She couldn't believe such an idiotic plan came from him.

She was about to refuse, however she felt a dizzy spell rush over her head. It didn't make sense to her. As a succubus she should be immune to mind games of seduction. Somehow he had charmed her and she had no choice but to follow his commands.

Victor left Margrets home to ready for the up coming battle. He had to make the playing field even.

Margret looked at the two werewolves in her home. She made a symbol with her hand and it glowed pink.

Anthony and Aisha looked upon the symbol and their bodies started to change. Getting smaller and revealing their other side.

Twenty minutes later Margret heard noises coming from her yard. She walked out and greeted her temporary guest.

"Margret the untouched. How nice to see you again. I will make this quick. You have two things that belong to me. With an additional prey as well. Give them to me or join the hunt we are having tonight." The alpha of the group was the first to start the conversation. Though there isn't much to talk about as he had already given his ultimatum.

Margrets face could be seen with much stress on it. She struggled to help her only family. Or what she now considered family. "I don't have anyone in my home. They already retreated to the forest again." She was given the order to tell the werewolves where to go and now she felt the slip of pressure in her head. Free once again she move swiftly to kill as many werewolves as possible.

Or so she thought. As she tried to harm the werewolves she couldn't take even a single step off her porch. Again she was under a charm effect.

'How is he doing this?' Margret made another symbol from her hands and a barrier was placed on her home. "Get out of here before I start a hunt Bearclaw alpha.

A grin came to the face of the alpha of the Bearclaw pack. "You can just call your future mate Riden. See you later untouched. " He was moving out when he said this and all of his pack let out a chuckle.

In all honesty Riden knew the two wolves he was chasing were still there in the house. He was more interested in the vampire right now and let it go. The final words he spoke to Margret were meant to tell her she had just joined the hunt for tonight and before her death she was to be his.

In the forest Victor was all done with his preparation to victory. If killing was not an option and beating them was impossible, he had to make it so nove of them could fight. Victor made a grave mistake in his planning however.

Due to the system telling him he had to kill twenty of the assailants he only prepared for a pack around that size. He was ready for action and climbed into a tall tree to scope the incoming enemies. As he looked down he quickly noted something.

"One, two, seven, sixteen, ... forty-eight.... sixty-two. Sixty-two enemies that's easy to deal....." Victor stopped his train of thought and his eyes were so open they could freely fall from the sockets.

All he believed in was the solid plan he came up with. His preparation had failed instantly with such large numbers. The plan ruined and his hope crushed. "Why would you bring so many to take on one opponent. And opponent that you have an advantage over anyway. This is so unfair."

Victor was out of options. When he looked down the spike traps and pit falls he made up caught around fourteen werewolves. This was the moment he was supposed to surprise attack, but now he just felt he would die as soon as he was spotted.

He planned on hiding for a few hours. Maybe the would give up or give an opening for him to run. That plan was a bust as soon as it came to his head.

Victor felt the one thing he didn't want to feel in that moment. His body felt a tingling sensation. The type that told vampires to run into a dark room before death came for them. It meant there was an hour before sun rise. Though he wouldn't die like in the past. He would instead lose eighty percent of his capability.

"So life only gives me one option." Victor activated his devil gene. He didn't give it time to make the visible aura. He turned into mist and started making loud growling noises as he would appear and disappear around the forest.

This was an intimidation attempt. Victor figured if he can make himself seem lime a threat quickly he could get them to run away.

Victor took chunks out of the wolves. He completely missed every vital spot on the bodies of the wolves. The hit and retreat method wasnts playing out as well as he had hoped. "These guys heal faster than most vampires." It was a discovery he wished he knew earlier. He wouldn't have attempted the traps at all.

He couldn't do much more though. The wolves are fast and turning into mist is draining. He moved quicker and quicker everywhere and still felt as if he made no progress. The wolves were angrier than ever and worst of all Victor hadn't seen the alpha around. It should be obvious since all that is required is to find the one with the biggest body. It's the way he was taught by the books he read as a child. The bigger they are the closer to the alpha. And the alpha is always the biggest. He is a giant among giants in the pack.

Little did Victor know as he would appear and disappear throughout the battlefield there was always a giant blur behind him watching his every move. It had no trouble keeping up with his mist form.

'This isn't a lord. It might be better though. This must be the son of the Vampire king. His queen is a Royal. This means you'll make either a fine trophy or great bargaining chip.'

Back at house Fallin

Miria had a sense of danger around her all night. She never felt so close to death, not even when she did die. It was like a call to save something. She checked the servants dinner many times thinking she burned it.

If that wasn't the reason for the feeling she just couldn't figure it out.

"Miria, will you please come show me how to straighten up the garden again." A little voice called out. Miria was staring at a little orc girl in a maids outfit. This is one of the children Estelle brought in with the Orc Queen.

Miria nodded putting the feeling into the back of her mind. She went on to help in the garden where Estelle and the Ex queen were having a sparring match.

Seeing Miria the match was postponed and a big hug was shared between the little girl and her mom.

Estelle looked at that seen and scoffed. Without her brother next to her she was more prone to violence. Everything was an irritation for her. She, unlike her brother, went stone cold and felled many of enemies on the battlefields. It wasn't because she liked killing like her sister. She had promised to be the deadly sword between the two siblings and she planned to have her brothers back no matter the cost.

Miria felt her pain of separation with her brother. As she came back to the Mansion she had never smiled, laughed, cried, or even asked for anything. She just drank blood and trained to be the best.

Suddenly out of nowhere Estelle and Miria crouched down and felt a burning sensation all over their chest. It was as if they felt the pain of another as their own.

"That was."

"Victor's in trouble."

On the forest surface a boy could be seen with black claws thrown through his stomach and he is holding them down, but it wasn't helping. Pretty soon Victor will give into the strength of an alpha.

"Don't die yet boy. We haven't taken your legs and arms. You should be happy. It took sixty-two of us to come get you."

Victor however couldn't hear the alpha. He had his own thing going on. Inside. "Kill.... kill..... kill....."

"Shut up. Monsters don't need to kill all the time. They aren't food, or Alucard himself. I won't kill them!"

Victor never gains power for nothing. every ounce of power he will get comes with a terrible situation. can he change fate and fix that. Find out next time on....
