10 Chapter 010 All Eyes On Her!

This was Bambi's first time going on a private plane. She was very excited although it was a short flight to Cebu, Philippines. She could still see the beauty of the islands, the high mountains, and the coastlines a clear crystal blue. In other words the Philippines true beauty as a whole could only be seen by plane, and it was breath catching. Bambi's wishful thinking was to stay longer on the airplane so she could circle around the islands to have a clear view of every single one of them.

Having a smooth landing and a warm welcoming at the airport, didn't clam Bambi's nerves. Tito Gabriel had a service car take them to their temporary apartment. Tito Gabriel had one of his assistant to carry all Kandy's four suitcases. The thin young man had to carry one by one to the second floor. Since Bambi only had one suitcase she carry it herself.

Tito Gabriel laughed "Kandy you have the mall pack up!" Then the two girls walked down stairs to thank their uncle. He in turn took out two small envelopes. "Nothing wrong with spoiling you girls!" More huggs... "Salamat po". With that Tito Gabriel left, he would come back in five days.

Kandy open her envelope and counted her pesos $5000.00! About $100.00 US dollars could last you all week, but in Kandy's case maybe one day. Bambi layed her suitcase open and took out all her clothes that she was going to wear for the week. Including a navy dress jacket and skirt for the meeting that she was going to have with Leo Lee. She also took out a gift. She figure a gift would be a nice courtesy. Bambi took out her black flat shoes because she didn't like wearing high heels. A soft pink blouse. She then went ahead and took out the contract paperwork. Bambi called a service ride. She give them the directions and time of appointment, that she was going to be having for today. Thinking about the meeting made Bambi really nervous. She decided not to have lunch instead to have something very light. She drank tea to calm her nerves. Good thing Kandy was out and about shopping. Bambi was in her temporary apartment, walking back and forth residing her presentation. Bambi was getting a headache so she decided to take some medicine and lie down and took a 30 minute nap.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Cell phone alarm went off as soon as Bambi sat up. She then took a cool shower. Got ready, fixing her hair like the stylist Jalyn had shown her. She then put on her new lipstick. Bambi put on her watch, a silver band that could double as a bracelet. Her earrings, simple but very elegant pearls. Putting all her paper work in a slim black briefcase. She looked the part... an office worker.

With shaking hands Bambi held her cell phone. Looking at the text message her friend sent her: GIRL YOU BETTER CALL ME!

Since Bambi has international cell phone service it was much cheaper if she called. The call barely went out and it got pick up right away! This made Bambi jump, she was so jittery. "Hey girl....dont worry you got this! Said the voice on the other side of the world. "Remember to breathe or your gonna get them hiccups.... I dont hear you breathing. Why aren't yo breathing?? Its gonna be okay. Okay."

A deep breathe broke the silence. "There you go.... take another one in and let it out... the voice got softer as it repeated this sentence over and over. Bambi relax and her hands stop shaking. "I feel better now. Thanks. I needed that!"

"Okay girl. You got this. Call after cos I wanna hear the good news!" The voice was gone. Bambi, put her phone down. She ran her presentation one more time in her head. Then went down to the service car that was waiting.

The driver was an older man in his 50's. He opend the car door for Bambi. Down the road they went to the next town. The driver notice that young lady was not looking at the views. The young lady looked very worried, the driver wanted to say something. But he didn't want to bother the young lady. Looking at his rear view mirror, he could see the young lady trying to work out her thoughts.

The service car stop, Bambi didn't react. She didn't notice, only until the driver opened the car door. She slowly got out, paid and thank the man.

Walking into the building, Bambi trip on a cord that was in the way. Losing her shoe in the process. A real safety hazard, but that wasn't the only cord. Cords of all kinds where plug in or ran into other rooms. The noise level in the building was very loud, plus music was playing at it's max. Loud hammering and blades stop working. All eyes where on the girl who was holding her shoe in one hand and a briefcase in the other.
