9 Chapter 009 A gift from a beast!

At 6:00am Bambi was online LIVE on C0DE. She power on her avatar, soon she was near the golden tower. Being a goddess of a forrest meant she possessed mystical powers. A young girl with jet black hair that almost looked blue walked with her spirit animal. She and her companion cross a small water stream, her bare feet floating above. Her white kimono with a lavish blues that look like watercolors outline her sleeves. She then turn to her spirit animal indicating that she no longer needed his assistants. He then step back and disappeared. As a goddess she gently place her hand on the bark of the Magnolia tree, it bloom.

The Lion Emperor was near by, he was waiting for the signal. If the Magnolia tree bloom pink it was an all clear but it it bloom white it meant stand your ground. Seeing that the Magnolia tree bloom a blush pink. The Lion Emperor made his way down.

His persona was impressive, with a traditional Chinese changshan (a long robe) in the color of jade with embroidered chinese calligraphy in gold. He wore a golden mask of the face of most feared beast.....

The Lion Emperor bowed, since it was LIVE they could speak to each other [allowing gamers to use their natural voice or adding effects such as echo, music and so on...] using headphones (and a mic) a male voice came on. The voice was deep and clam.... it had a light echo like rain drops in the background.

"Am gald you came to meet me."

(Bambi smiled)"Of course it wouldn't be very lady like if I didn't show up."

"I will be busy this week so I can't join you on any missions. Am currently working on a deadline."

(Bambi is disappointed but doesn't want to show it, so instead) "Same. I have a new job!"

"Congrats!

(Bambi was very happy that he message her) "Thank you...So... why did you want to meet up?

"I have a gift for you, since you mentioned that you graduated from the University a few weeks ago. I finally found something that you're going to like."

(Bambi became very curious) "You did?"

"Yes, please give me your hand."

[Bambi's eyes widen she looked forward to the gift. The Lion Emperor took out a long sword a traditional Chinese weapon, pudao wushu steel. A jade necklace dangled from it.]

(Bambi [the necklace slide off the pudao wushu weapon) "This? Is this for me?.... Wow its very pretty!

"Yes."

(Bambi) "I see chinese calligraphy on the jade."

"You read?"

(Bambi) "Huh? Oh...no... am not that good at it...I do know Japanese but I speak it better than reading it."

"It's a spell catcher, if someone casts a spell. You can counter act by capturing it and using it."

(Bambi) "Wow! That is very smart!! I really like it. I will use it well."

"I wish you good luck with your new job! Let me know how it goes."

(Bambi blush a little) "Yeah. I will keep you updated. DE-C0DE!"

"DE-C0DE!" said the Lion Emperor.

This term is used to let each other know that they where logging off C0DE. Bambi put down her headset. Did one more luggage check.

Bambi went to the kitchen where she smelled breakfast. Mrs. Verba had out done herself, being a top chef she did a traditional Filipino breakfast. Sunny side up eggs, garlic fried rice with chinese sausage, tocino (sweet pork), longanisa (pork sausage: it's very yummy), pandesal (bread roll), fresh mangos and pineapple. As Bambi walk in, her mom was making fresh orange juice since it was Bambi's favorite (who wasn't a coffee drinker). "Good morning nanay (mother)! Do you need help? Bambi asked. Mrs. Verba turn "No baby, but get your ate (sister) up. Your Tito will be here in an hour."

Kandy was awake, this surprise Bambi. Her sister was a real sleepy head but when it came to traveling she will get up early to pack four suitcases.

The Verba family was having a grand meal. Parents reminding their young adults children to be careful and to care for one another. They hugged and kiss goodbye. Tito Gabriel reinsured Bambi's and Kandy's parents that he would take good care of them.
