3 Chapter 003 Not one mistake but two mistakes!

A week had pass and Bambi was thinking about those three guys. At dinner the Verba family had a guest over. Tito Gabriel (Tito: uncle) had many businesses in electronics and was very close to the family. Seeing his younger brother's face Tito Gabriel said in a concerned tone "You need to hired an assistant." Bambi look up at her dad as he stood up. Mr. Verba look tired and rundown. Bambi remember that her dad used to play golf. Now he is so busy and overwork he doesnt even sleeps. Mr. Verba pour wine for Tito Gabriel, a sign of respect for his older brother. Although he had a very deep respect for his brother it didn't mean he was going to accept his advice. Mr. Verba sat down....he looked conflicted. "Gabriel, its just me... what else can I do. I have to keep up with the competition. New product is hitting the market every day...and...and... if I dont keep up then, how can I stay on top?" The mood got very heavy and tense. Tito Gabriel smile gently and in a confident voice announce "You already have someone who is more than qualified! You have Bambi." Everyone turn to look at her, Bambi kept her eyes down not saying anything. "Brother I have four son's, they are part of the company. Having a daughter is the same as a son when it comes to inheritance and being part of the business." Tito Gabriel patted his brother's back. Mr. Verba had nothing against Bambi taking up a position in the company. Bambi was his baby girl. Tito Gabriel only had boys, he didn't had the heartache of a over protective father! Mr. Verba felt he was being put on the spot. But why couldn't he keep his daughter home away from all those good for nothing boys! No stinking guy was good enough for his princess! Bambi was still innocence and very pure hearted. She wasn't boy crazy like her older sister Kandy. A shy voice interrupted Mr. Verba's train of thoughts. Bambi swallowed and took a deep breath. "In the two weeks I been back home, I put in applications for different companies. All ten of them want to hire me. But if I can.... I rather work for you dad." Bambi smile softly as her feet where shaking from her nerves. Tito Gabriel cheered "You see brother, even with out much work experience she got offers! Bambi has a good background and most of all a very high education!" Kandy and Mrs.Verba looked at Bambi. Mr. Verba put his hand over his eyes as not wanting to see the truth. Bambi was not a child anymore. Tito Gabriel felt that his brother wasn't going to fold, now he had to be stern with his words. "Brother you seem not to be convinced. You already made one mistake don't make another one!" Mr. Verba look at him and raised his voice "What mistake!!?" Tito Gabriel snap right back at him "Your too busy and spread out too thin to notice that you don't even have a contract with that Lee guy!" Mr. Verba stood up looking around like if all the air in the room was sucked out. He looked pale. "You see brother, you HAD a contract with old Zao Lee now since he has passed away. Dear God let him rest in peace. That grandson of his who's been working in your building using your materials. He can just walk away with all the prototypes and has every right to do so!"
