"With this, the contract is complete."

Takashi could only stare at the woman in front of him. This was a <Complete Summoning>. This woman was not simply an <Illusion> formed by Magic, but an actual body with mass.

A Fully Materialized Spiritual Being.

"You are a Spiritual Being?" Takashi carefully asked the woman.

The woman focused her deep blue eyes on Takashi, as if surveying him.

"Hmm, a fine man."

She started coughing slightly. "Ahem, my name is Levana. In your world, it seems you call us Spiritual Beings...well,--that's OK. You must be surprised since I have fully materialized in front of you? Well, let's just say I am a special existence within the Cosmos."

Takashi looked at the crest that has formed on his right hand, in the shape of a star.

However, Takashi could not help but ask.

"Why did you choose me?"

Levana's face twitched a little and she sighed.

"Child, there is still a lot you do not know about both our worlds. There is a reason why I chose you but...--I can't tell you now. It is still too early for you to know. However, I can tell you about my powers."

Hou, seems this woman is not really willing to divulge much. And, did she just call me 'Child'?, She looks to be around my age, Takashi could not help but retort in his heart.

"My original magic is reinforcement magic. Most of my magic spells are blessings on the user. I can reinforce your physical strength, your mental strength and your five senses. The verse for the spells should be entering your head by now as we speak."

Takashi nodded as he felt the verses penetrating deep into his brain.

Levana continued.

"There is one thing you must know. That is the trump card of my magic. 'Flames of Life'. It is a grand and powerful magic that is able to resurrect oneself; that magic will burn oneself completely till only ashes are left behind, and from the ashes, one will be reborn and resurrected once more, invoking a grand restoration magic. However, that magic can only be used once on either your own body or another."

As Takashi listened, he started to gather that this woman was something special, something different than the other Spiritual Beings.

Complete Resurrection? That was unheard of for any kind of magic. To able to rewrite the laws of life and death and bring one back to the living...--it was certainly both shocking yet at the same time, exciting.

This means that even if Takashi were to be killed, if he had enough magic left, he could revive himself. That was basically a cheat method. However, it was only a one time use cheat.

"But, that's not all. Do not be shocked when you hear this...Takashi. I have another original magic, <Ars Goetia>, that is...for every Magika that becomes your ally, you are able to use all of their magic as well."

At this point, Takashi's jaw literally dropped.

This basically meant that he could use hundred of different types of magic. What is the true identity of this Spiritual Being.

Levana seemed to have sensed the disturbance in Takashi's heart.

"As I mentioned earlier, I'm a special existence within the Cosmos."

The words that Levana had muttered gave an enormous impact to Takashi.

It overthrew all his thoughts and two giant words floated within Takashi's mind<The Strongest>.

The Spiritual Being that he, one of the weakest magician in school, contracted was...the strongest."

However, Levana seemed to not have noticed and continued her explanation.

"Through the mentality of the Magic User that becomes your ally, the Magic User's contracted Spiritual Being's power could be used by you. For example, there is someone here who is contracted with the Kuro Majo, the Black Witch. If you let that person become your ally, then you will form a path with that person and I would be able to draw power from Kuro Majo. However, even without doing that, I already have my own magic but it would be wise to gather allies you have faith in...--in order to face the Supreme Existence."

"The Supreme Existence?" Takashi could not help but ask.

Levana then displayed a shocked look and quickly waved her hand. "It is still too soon for you to know. Eventually, I will tell you everything. However, I have something to give you."

After hearing that phrase, a white light shined around Takashi's hand and suddenly--he was holding an Obsidian Katana in his right hand, which was currently bathed in pure white light.

This was the Katana earlier from the Shrine which Takashi had retrieved.

Levana then started to speak.

"This is a good sword. I have blessed it with my powers and after this, no one else but you can handle this sword. This is a sword worthy to be held by the one who is going to be known as the <Strongest Magician>."

Takashi suddenly felt the great sense of responsiblity that fell on him as he lifted up the sword.

The <Strongest Magician>
