"I have not come here to make some armors or weapons for my cavalry. You guys will help me in making farming tools that will make the work on the farm easier." Virtya answered Nataschenka expressionlessly.

"What! Farming tools??" Nataschenka was bewildered. He couldn't believe what she had just heard. One should know that what the farmers used to dig their lands with in this age was simply a slightly broaden metal spike that had a gape where a wooden pole could be inserted. Such simple tools were usually made by blacksmith apprentices or failed blacksmiths who could not be accepted by any blacksmith guild thus, Nataschenka was basically taken aback by what Virtya had just said. How could someone as experienced as Nataschenka stood that low? Was the king jocking with their profession? Nevertheless, Nataschenka could not utter a word on Virtya's face even if she was disappointed, she could only grit her teeth and wait to see what would happen.

"This is the main furnace where we create important items like the weapons that the warriors uses to fight in the war." Nataschenka Melnikoff showed Virtya a large coal forge. The blacksmiths used hydraulic presses and coal to power the forge.

Previously, Nataschenka Melnikoff had warned Virtya about the high temperatures in the room where the forge was, but she was astonished to find out that Virtya was unaffected by the higher temperatures.

One should know that a blacksmith needed to undergo some training of getting acquainted with the high temperatures to make their body's phsique - sturdy so that they could be unaffected by the high temperatures in the smithing rooms. But Virtya didn't need such trainings because his body was already sturdy as it was because of the hereditary effects that he received from his father king Markov who was strong, brave and a warrior full of conviction.

It was not just Virtya but also Nataschenka Melnikoff could see that there were some warriors like Tanya who could also persevere in this high temperature room without batting an eye, the warriors had after all undergone special training that presented their bodies with a sturdy phsique just like Virtya's, so the high temperature didn't affect them, this was especially true to those warriors who were always close to Virtya to make sure that he was safe but their fellows like Gigi Dufour could not even get near the door of the room as they felt like the fats in their bodies were melting.

Anyway, since this was the first time for Virtya to come in contact with the coal forges, hydraulic presses, anvil and metal ingots in the blacksmithing guild, he simply stood there watching as the several skilled blacksmiths created the items that he had drawn on the scrolls. He wanted them to make machetes, sickles, rakes, mattocks, handforks, trowels, axes, spades, shovels, hoes, pruning shears and pangas. Some complicated items like the wheelbarrows and the plough would be made personally by him after learning from the experienced blacksmiths.

Within a few days, the blacksmiths and Virtya had got to know each other in such a way that some blacksmiths could even manage to make some jokes with him. The fear etched in their bones when they heard the name king Virtya, was no more.

Nataschenka Melnikoff, Gigi and all the warriors were both shocked and exited because of how Virtya interacted with the blacksmiths. He was not his proud self and he would ask them some questions about blacksmithing process, hold the items that they had made and see if the items had met the requirements.

If there was a correction needed, he would ask them politely to improve the item. Virtya had not just been bossing the blacksmiths around, he had also managed to achieve mastery in blacksmithing because for some reasons, he seemed to be adept in this occupation thus, it only took him a few days and he was already fabricating perfect stuffs.

His quick learning had made him to receive much worship from the blacksmiths as to them, it had taken them not less than ten years to achieve mastery in the occupation, they were both awed and fearful of the king.
