Chapter 21
"Would it be okay if we borrowed some of these books? It would help him considerably in understanding the forge. Whoever gathered this library must have been a dedicated scholar, and spent decades studying our ruins. I've visited the grand library and still haven't seen some of these." Valan claimed while examining the doll.
"If it's in regards to your people then as far as I'm concerned it's yours. You asked to see me for something." Zack said while walking up to the doll.
Rolen grabbed some of the books and went somewhere secluded to begin his studies. He wanted to get some fundamental tips then begin working right away. Valan motioned Zack to come closer.
"I studied all the other dolls I could, but they simply followed commands. This is the only one that seems different. It's in stasis waiting for something to continue. Everything here seems connected to you, and that pendant. I've been working on a theory, but need your help to try it. Pour a sample of your grace into it then place it around the doll." Valan suggested while observing closely.
Zack tried many things when he was younger to fix it, but never could. He wasn't able to channel his grace properly till meeting Lauren, and the thought never occurred to restart it after that. Following Valan's instructions, the doll's eyes began to glow. It came back to life and immediately guided them to the courtyard without a word. The doll finally stopped in front of a large fountain. It then grabbed Zack by the hand.
"My name is Elaine, and I'm your mother. My father was a halfling and told me many stories of the tragedies of our people. When I was strong enough to travel alone I searched hard to find our people, but only found those in bondage. Upon seeing this I dedicated my life to freeing as many as possible, and that was when I met your father. He too couldn't sit by while innocents suffered, and after our crusade was successful we traveled the world together. He would often take me to the ruins of our ancestors for me to study, and during our travels, we slowly fell in love. With my new knowledge, we built this place intending to be a paradise for all. When we finished I was already a few months pregnant with you. We were out looking for people to recruit when things got started getting bad. As your power grew the angels learned of your impending birth. They pieced everything together by your father's actions over the years, and they intended to kill both of us without a second thought. With the help of your father's friend, we were warned and managed to escape death, but in the end, your father had to sacrifice himself for our safety...I will never get to hold you in my arms or see your first steps, but I do have a gift for you. That gift is all you see around you. Use it to build a new world. One where everyone can live in peace. Let it be a place where no one has to die over who they fall in love with...I wish we could talk more, but unfortunately, that's not possible. You're our little miracle, and never forget that we love you very much."
The doll finished its message as a chamber opened beneath the fountain. The doll now completed its function, and it took off the pendant as it continued its former duties. Zack took the time to wrap his head around everything he heard. When he regained his composure he ventured down with Valan behind him.
"When I was serving as chief many tribes were slaughtered or enslaved, but we managed to take refuge high in that valley to avoid detection. When our numbers and strength recovered we set out to take action, but by the time we arrived, it was too late. All the people were liberated by just two people. Everyone always assumed it was two sympathetic humans. Those with little blood like your mother don't resemble elves besides their affinity for magic. It's no wonder this place resembled our culture so closely. It would also seem your integrity closely resembles your parents." Valan praised as they entered a large chamber.
"Thank you," Zack replied.
At the center of the chamber was a unique structure that powered the barrier. While they looked around they noticed there was plenty of supplies. There were schematics for building new structures like the one before them, and a few controllers similar to his pendant.
They could easily make more dolls and power cores with everything they found. Shortly after Valan discovered they could alter the barrier's radius, and command the dolls from the core. The first step they took was extending the barrier by a few miles in each direction.
"You should take one of these. That way you can make any arrangements, and access the core." Zack said as they were walking out of the house.
"I'll be gathering our people for a meeting. I want them to know of this place's origin. It may even help them in their decision to stay." Valan said before walking away.
The rest of the day's events were rather quiet. Karin played with Tanya and stayed long enough for dinner. After they were done eating Karin took some souvenirs home, and promised Tanya she would return. The nereids also decided to return tomorrow for they desire to explore the new waterways first.
After a relaxing bath, Zack returned home to see Yu waiting. She approached wearing some black shorts, and tiny top Destiny left for sleepwear. Zack couldn't help but admire her beautiful figure as she approached.
"Did you have fun today?" He asked.
Yu nodded as she touched his chest.
"In a few days, we will visit the city. Do you think you're ready for that?"
Zack was trying to keep his composure. He could tell by the way Yu looked at him that she wanted something. The first thought he had was her mom must've talked her into it. This morning Yu kissed him in a passionate way. Up to that point, Yu only ever copied what she saw, but that was completely different. Yu got in really close before answering.
"If you're going I'm going." Yu was looking up from his chest.
The faces she made were always so adorable, and Zack couldn't help but embrace her.
'In two days she's already changed so much.'
They walked upstairs together as Zack got ready for bed. She waited till he got on the bed before she blocked the door with the dresser.
'Guess she doesn't understand the locks yet.' Zack chuckled seeing the triumphant look.
When Yu finished she crawled into the bed very slowly. The look on her face and the way she crawled up the bed made his heart race. Zack had problems taking his eyes off her hips swaying as she crawled in his direction.
Ever since they met it was the first thing Zack noticed besides her warm smile. Yu had curvy hips with a nice round ass, and he desperately wanted to cling to it. Zack recalled the suppleness he felt when she would jump on him before, and it only fed this desire more.

After Yu was corrected yesterday she began to understand privacy. With what her mother explained last night she understood why. Yu waited all day patiently for a chance to be alone with Zack, and It's why she fought so hard in the arena.
"It's supposed to be with.."
"With someone who gives you a special feeling I remember. I'm happy when I see you, and I would be very sad if you left. Feel." Yu took his hand placing it on her heart.
Yu's heart was indeed beating faster with him here. Zack was surprised Yu listened so well to his explanation. Last night Yu also proved she wasn't chasing lust blindly like her family. If she was that night on the mountain would've ended differently.
Zack leaned in to kiss Yu tenderly as he placed his hand on her cheek lovingly. As soon as Zack did this she climbed on top of him. They kissed passionately as his hands slid down her body grabbing her hips. When Zack squeezed her ass the cutest moan was released. Yu looked down at his hands wondering how such a little touch could feel so good.
"Everything you do is adorable." Zack smiled.

Yu used her tail to slip off his shorts, and Zack could feel her tail examining his body thoroughly. The fur tickled Zack as she brushed it against his dick. Once Yu felt it her eyes lit up with curiosity quickly using her feet to push him off by his hips. Yu laid on the bed examining his dick closely. She began poking it and jumped when it twitched.
"So it's really not a tail," Yu said with a look of awe.
