Chapter Three

( Wu Tan city)

It was a normal day and everyone in the city was going about their business until a figure appeared above the city and then slowly descended to the ground putting away his flame wings.

Su Ren's arrival attracted a lot of attention, but the people of the city knew better than to approach him as he walked towards the local auction house.

" He must be a Dou King, but what is he doing in Wu Tan City?" The people whispered as they watched Su Ren walk out of view.

As curious as they were, they knew they couldn't approach Su Ren a Dou King could do whatever they wanted in the Jia Ma empire unless he ran into a Dou Emperor.

Soon the news of Su Ren's arrival had already spread throughout the city and someone in particular had taken an interest in his purpose in the city.

( Xiao clan)

" You say the Fire demon king has arrived in Wu Tan city and is now a Dou Emperor?" A girl asked while sitting on her bed.

" Yes young master, he seems to be a three-star Dou Emperor, but...." A voice answered even though the girl was the only one seen in the room.

" But?"

" I sense a high level of danger from him." The voice answered.

" A nine-star Dou Emperor feels that a three-star Dou Emperor is dangerous, at his age being a Dou Emperor is very impressive even in the Ancient clan." The girl says as she stands up.

" Keep an eye on him, but don't appear unless does something to Xiao Yan ignore everyone else."

" You've master I'm afraid that won't be possible, as Doon as he entered the city he already found my presence, but he simply ignored me."

" Mhm, then leave him be then." The girl says.

( Auction house)

" We welcome the fire demon king." The two guards saluted as Su Ren entered the auction house.

" I'm surprised someone in this city really knows who I am." He says looking at the woman standing in front of him.

" His Majesty is very famous in the Jia Ma empire, I wonder how I can help you today?" The woman asked her voice carrying a seductive and charming feeling.

'That seductive charm and curvy body and the red dress that sticks to her body exposing just enough to draw you in but covering enough to leave room for the imagination, this should be Ya Fei.' Su Ren thinks.

" It would seem word around the capital is true, Miss Ya Fei has enough charm to drown the world." Su Ren says his voice still cold and indifferent as he praises her.

" My little charm is nothing in front of you." Ya Fei says as a little blush appears on her cheek.

"Mhm, I came this time because I want to buy all the poisonous herbs and plants you have in stock." Says Su Ren finished with the small talk and getting to business.

" All?" Ya Fei asked surprised.

" Yeah, all."

" I will send someone to gather them together now, how about having a seat while we wait."

Su Ren didn't reject her invitation as he sat down and she quickly ordered her people to gather everything together. Then came to sit across from Su Ren.

As the two sat there, with no one talking Ya Fei was a little overwhelmed and couldn't think of anything after all she was sitting across from the most talented person in the Empire.

As things were getting awkward Su Ren spoke.

"I wonder if things will end up being the same?"

"What do you mean?" She asked.

" You'll know in the future." Su Ren says.

As she looked at Su Ren confused the person who when to gather the material came back and gave Ya Fei a ring.

" These are all the things you wanted." She says passing the ring to Su Ren.

" How much?"

" No need to pay." Ya Fei says.

Su Ren looked at her and already knew what she was doing.

" Fine, I'll owe you a favor, and keep collecting these poisonous herbs plants for me I'll come to collect them when I need more." He says as he walks out of the auction house and takes to the sky.

(Su Ren POV)

Looking down on the Xiao clan I can sense everything going on, the protagonist is still being sucked dry by his soon to be master, and the girl from the Ancient clan already knows I'm here.

A really stupid girl, well most of them were, I've completed what I came for, so it's time to leave.

It would have been good to take the strange fire from Yao Chen now but I'll have other chances in the future.

( Normal POV)

Su Ren turned and left, heading back to Xiao Yi Xian.

" I wonder if I should do a lottery?" Su Ren questioned as he flew back.

" But the tokens are to low I won't get anything good, the more tokens used to do a lottery the better the chances of getting something good, right now I need to start my plan so in the coming years my spins are going to mostly be in the subordinate category.

The system, has four categories items, pills, subordinates and other for targeted lottery the last time when I got the one fire mantra I saved all the token from three years."

It didn't take long for Su Ren to fly back to the town Xiao Yi Xian was living in and he quickly found her house and went in to see her cooking.

" Honey I'm home!" Su Ren shouted as he entered closing the door.

" Ahhhhh, you idiot stop say things like that." Xiao Yi Xian says As her face turns red.

" It's just fun to tease you, you'll get used to it."

" The food will be ready soon just take a seat and be silent."

Su Ren looked at the girl who seemed more relaxed now than when she found out he was a Dou Emperor and smiled and followed her orders.
