9 Chapter 9 Danger

Ji Min opened his eyes immediately. "We've got to hide now! Something is coming, I don't know what but I've got a bad feeling about it." The rest of the brothers reacted quickly and started to hide behind the walls, plastering their bodies against them ground. Although they did not know what Ji Min was talking about they trusted him with their lives.

As soon as they had finished hiding they heard a sound. It was a large thumping sound followed by a sound of trees falling. Soon the felt the ground trembling, as if whatever it was that was running was so big and heavy it could shake the earth when it moved. The thought sent chills down their spine.

The thumping sound grew louder and louder as the unknown creature grew closer and closer until it was right behind them. They all held their breathes and stayed as still as possible, hiding behind the walls. But this didn't fool the creature, as if it knew where they were, it ran madly towards the wall where Nam Joon, Ho Seok, Jungkook and Tae Hyung were hiding.

Realizing that the thumping sound was getting closer, Nam Joon, Ho Seok, Jungkook and Tae Hyung looked at each other. After years of working together they had reached the point that they no longer needed words to communicate with each other. They all ran out of their hiding spot.

It was the right decision because as soon as they had run the creature had smashed the wall into pieces. If they had still been standing there they would have become meat patties. Jin, Ji Min and Yoon Gi, noticing that the others were running away had no choice but to follow. If the creature could find out where Nam Joon, Ho Seok, Jungkook and Tae Hyung were hiding, it was likely that it could find out where they were hiding.

Coming out of their hiding spots they finally saw the creature. What they saw shocked them to the core. In front of them was a huge beast bigger than an elephant. It was a giant, it had a deep red skin colour and reminded them greatly of monsters they had seen in movies. Its eyes were black and full of madness, just looking at them made them feel like they were being sucked into a world of misery and despair. It looked at them hungrily as they were his next meal. The Bangtang boys never thought that they would see a monster in reality, let alone be chased by it.

"Roar!" the giant shouted, its voice so loud and powerful that the guys felt their ears ringing and their heads spinning. But they did not slow down, they kept running for their lives. When they had awakened they had gained inhuman strength and agility but even with their inhuman speed the giant was just as fast, if not faster. It was gaining on them.
