35 Hinata's eye surgery

With the fight between Naruto and Tsunade settled, Naruto started to walk towards the village in a content manner after seeing Tsunade calmly wiping the blood off her hands. He wondered why nobody used Genjutsu on Tsunade to solve her problem.

With Tsunade and Shizune tagging along Naruto decided to have a slow walk towards the village as they weren't in any kind of hurry. Shizune hugged Tonton and dragged luggage behind while she watched Tsunade trying to strike up a conversation with the guy but was having trouble picking up a topic.

"So, you gonna introduce yourself? I think a name to call you by would be nice." Tsunade said catching up with Naruto.

"Oh, sorry about that. Where are my manners?" Naruto turned around to apologize and undid his transformation. "My name's Naruto Uzumaki. You can call me Naruto" Returning to his original self Naruto said to Tsunade and Shizune.

Tsunade's eyes started to twitch as she just remembered she was put into a genjutsu by a little kid. She was in shock at the same time after finding out his age with the level of Chakra be possessed but after finding out his surname her surprise vanished. Her grandmother was an Uzumaki as well and she inherited her vast Chakra reserve from her mother's side instead of Senju bloodline.

"Well nice to you to Naruto. Since you already know our name lets skip that. Tell about your friend, what happened to her." Tsunade said with a much gentler tone.

"Orochimaru attacked the village a month ago. Hiruzen died and countless people were either killed or injured and other hidden villages took the opportunity to take few things that didn't belong to them. My friend's eye was one such item." Naruto summarized the incident and it was enough for Tsunade to pick up what happened.

Tsunade turned silent after hearing the events, while she was mad at Hiruzen for ignoring her advice during the 3rd Shinobi War he was still her teacher and her father figure. "And what happened to Orochimaru?" Tsunade asked again after throwing a long breath.

"I killed him," Naruto replied in a single sentence.

"Of course you did" Tsunade replied with a single sentence as well not believing Naruto.

The group of three and a pig slowly made their way towards the village and although they could have reached the village much faster, taking a slow hike had its own satisfaction. The Elemental Nation had yet to start its industrial era and because of the environment wasn't polluted at all.

Clear sky, fresh air, and vast greenery Naruto hadn't had time to enjoy the natural beauty of this world and he was enjoying the slow hike. Aside from that who wouldn't enjoy the company of a beautiful girl and a 50-year-old woman who still looked in her 20s.

Besides if Tsunade stood alongside all of the popular girls from Naruto series then Tsunade would stand out on top without a doubt. Naruto had to keep walking in the front just so he could keep himself from eyeing the deep cleavage of Tsunade.

Naruto along with his entourage managed to reach the village before sunset. Tsunade hadn't been to the village for years and hence decided to stay with Naruto for the night. Naruto was the one to make the invitation since it was late and called them out for dinner.

The Namikaze residence was big enough to hold few more guest besides Tsunade if required so Naruto made the invitation without any worries.

The dinner was much better than usual as there were more people. Yugao was especially excited after finding out Tsunade was staying over. Shizune quickly began helping Yugao and with them being of similar age they quickly found a similar topic to talk on.

Naruto sat on the couch with a smile as it was the first time in years since he saw Yugao this excited. He suddenly realized how small his family was, considering Yugao didn't have any relatives she must have been lonely.

With the dinner finished Naruto and Yugao entered the same room under the weird glances of Tsunade and Shizune. Yugao had already mentioned their relationship to the two and while Tsunade and Shizune understood her situation they still found it hard to weird to accept it.

Still, they didn't say anything and went to their separate rooms after dinner. Next day came and everyone gathered for a warm breakfast. Naruto then walked Tsunade and Shizune towards Hyuga clan for Hinata's surgery.

Hyuga clan were more than happy to welcome Tsunade and for some reason, they were more reserved towards Naruto. Naruto drew a lot of attention when visiting Hyuga clan and though nobody cared much since he was just a teenager the usually arrogant elders were acting like a mouse in front of a cat.

Naruto shook his head after seeing their reaction and realized his stunt on Kumogakure had already been spread around but only to high-level members of the society. Even Hiashi who only came before Naruto once had come to welcome Naruto and Tsunade.

"Naruto, I don't know how I can repay this favor of yours. I'd like to let you know that My Hyuga clan will be forever in your debts" Hiashi said with a serious tone and gave a respectful bow to Naruto.

"It's nothing Uncle Hiashi. I did it because Hinata is my friend and it was the right thing to do." Naruto said trying to avoid his embarrassment. It the first time for Naruto to receive such serious treatment.

The elders did their best to fulfill Tsunade's request and later agreed to do the surgery inside Hyuga residence. With half a day of preparation, Tsunade took the scroll containing Hinata's eyes from Naruto and started the surgery.

Hiashi walked left and right outside the surgery room in concern as it was a very important matter. He had always shown tough love to both of his daughters and though he was bad at expressing his love towards his daughters it didn't mean that he didn't love them. He managed to realize his mistake after his daughter's eye was taken.

The decisiveness and strength he wanted in his daughter were finally achieved and for what cost. Hinata had always been respectful to him despite his harsh treatment and after the incident, she had turned into a block of ice. She simply shut off her emotions and he was left with regrets.

He had hoped that Naruto would be able to change her and gave permission to meet Hinata anytime during her time in Hospital and back at her home but the result was not there.

As he was pacing around Shizune and Tsunade walked out of the room with a smile. "Tsunade-sama, how's my daughter?" Hiashi went forward and asked them in concern.

"The surgery went as planned. Don't allow her to use her Byakugan for a month and she'll be fine. She just needs rest for now." Tsunade said as she took off her gloves and her coat giving handing it to the maids in the side.

"Thanks for your hard work Tsunade-sama. If you have any request please let us know. We'll do our best to fulfill it." Hiashi said as he gave a bow to Tsunade.

"I plan on opening a medical institute in the village, I wonder if Hyuga clan is interested in investing. Though it's just a plan for now so just think about it, you don't need to answer me now." Tsunade gave out her wish.

Naruto stayed in the Hyuga clan for lunch and left with Tsunade and Shizune during the evening after making sure Hinata was alright.

"So medical institute huh, Why not go back to Village's official Hospital and manage it yourself?" Naruto asked on his way home.

"I won't have the freedom I desire if I go back there. While with Jiraiya Hokage now I could do as I please in the hospital but in the end, it won't change the fact that the hospital doesn't belong to me and my decision won't be absolute." Tsunade said.

Naruto understood her concern and agreed to her. It was like how Private and Government Hospital functioned on Earth. Each had its own merits and demerits and while Private hospitals were more profit-driven they had better facilities than Government Hospitals.
