SAVING BELLA 2
We were all waiting outside while the surgery was going on. I was so glad when Bella's blood and Mr Smith's blood matched, but I still can't register everything into my brain until now. Mark was also shocked when he heard the news, he still don't believe it until now.
But how is Bella going to take this, first that Mr Smith involved her mom whom she clearly wants nothing to do with her and secondly that the man that took her off the street provided shelter for her and Lisa, adopted them and raised them as his children is her real father and the one that messed up her life is no way related to her.
I really don't see her being cool with all of these at all it just seems way too much to handle. Not to mention the fact she has a twin sister, Bella is not going to take this easy on her mom. Speaking of Bella's mum she has been through a lot, I hope Bella forgives her, I think she really need that . Lisa have been so quiet since the surgery started, she just kept staring into the blank space. Mark tried a few times to cheer her up but the Lisa sitting here right now is a different Lisa.
It was 2:00Am in the morning when the doctor came out of surgery room. He confirmed Bella's surgery a success, we were all relieved.
"She will be transferred from the surgery room to her ward then you can see her, we just need to wait for her to wake up" the doctor said before excusing himself.
We all decided to go see Bella except for Bella's mother. When I walked in Lisa was sitting beside her, holding her hands. Mr Smith stood at the other side of the room staring at her while Mark was standing beside Lisa. She looked so pale, I saw the oxygen attached to her mouth.
"Bella wake up, is me Lisa I have something to say to you" Lisa said with tears running down her cheeks.
"Lisa she will be fine, why don't you just go home with Mark and rest then come back tomorrow morning am sure Bella will be waiting for you" I said trying to see if she will listen to me, she really needs to rest.
"No am staying right here until she wakes up" she said stubbornly
"Lisa listen to Ken, do you want to get Bella worried when she wakes up and sees you like this"
"Okay I will go but as soon as she wakes up promise to call me" she said
"I promise I will call you right away, Mark I will need you to drive both Lisa and Mr Smith home okay"
"No am staying" he said immediately I mentioned his name
"Sir you need that rest too or Bella will get worried too, I will let you guys know ones she wakes up" I said trying to convince him
"Okay let's go Lisa" he said but before he left he kissed Bella's forehead and whispered am sorry to her then he left along with Lisa and Mark.
After they left I just stared at her, I took her hand sitting beside her.
"Bella is time to wake up, we need you" I whispered in her ears hoping she some how heard me
Everywhere was so dark, I keep hearing voices but I can't make out who own them. Then I saw light shining at the other side, where am, I followed the light but the more closer I get the more the light keeps moving, is like the light wants me to chase after it. But I was getting tired already I decided to just give you and go but then I heard my name.
"Bella" I know that voice it's Lisa
"Bella!!!!" She called again but this time in a very sad voice
"Bella help" she shouted again
"Lisa am coming" I said but I can't really figure out where the voice was coming from, it felt like it was deep in the dark but at the same time it felt like is from the light.
"Bella!!!!!" I heard another voice, that was uncle's voice
"Bella!!!!" This time it was more clear the voices were coming from the light. I turned and headed towards that direction with the intention to answer them but the light kept on moving away.
I was about give up, when I heard another voice.
"Bella is time to wake you we need you" that was Ken, his voice seems sad but it gave me the strength I was looking for.
I kept on following the light until I made it, then I felt the brightness blinding my view.
I woke up when I felt Bella holding my hand so tight. She is waking up, I wanted to rush out and let the doctor know but her grip on my hand was so tight.
"Lisa, where are you?" She said.
Then I saw a nurse entering the room
"Call the doctor" I said as she rushed out to call the doctor.
When the doctor came he checked her up.
"She is a fighter, if she keep this up then she will be awake in no time" he Said leaving me confused.
"If she keep what up?" I asked
"She is fighting to wake up, for the moment she won't be needing this oxygen" he said removing it
"Does this mean she is going to be waking up anytime soon" I asked
"Yes she will just give her more time" he said before turning to go but then Bella opened her eyes.
"Doctor she is awake" I said moving beside her immediately.
"Where am I?" She asked
"At the hospital" I replied her
"What happened, why am I here?" She asked.
"You don't remember, you got hit why trying to protect Mrs Michael at the party" I said trying to see if I can refresh her mind.
"Miss Bella, which of my hand am I raising up?" The doctor asked
"Your right hand" she answered
"Good"
"How many fingers are my holding up?"
"Two"
"That's great, let me have the book " the doctor said referring to the book the nurse was holding.
"Miss Bella I need you to read from this book" he said to her which she read perfectly
"Okay do you know him?" The doctor asked pointing at him.
"Yes, I know him" she said looking at me
"Whats his name?" The doctor asked again.
"His name is Ken, my partner and a friend" she said weakly
"That's good"
"Do you remember what happened at the party?"
"No I don't remember a thing about it" she answered.
"Okay that's enough for today you need more rest, she needs to rest more, she is still tired and weak, I will give you two some time to talk but make it belief" he said as he left with the nurse.
