94. Violence please watch out

Her eyes swept over a couple of guards that were sent by the City Lord. "Did I give you permission to get off your posts and drink the whole night?"

"It was just one time and nothing happened. A man looked at her defiantly but winced as he saw her two gray orbs shining boldly at him.

"Come, continue to speak. I want to see what kind of amazing idea do you have." Her voice seeped with sarcasm, making him feel suffocated.

Isn't she just a little girl?? So what if she has support from so many people here and Emperor himself. 'That person is anyway backing them all up. Nothing will happen. He smirked as he stood up and cleaned his clothes.

Lord Ka stood from one side and just calmly watched the man acting up. ''You really wish to die. No matter what you say, you are just a guard and she is Emperor's official. Does that mean you look down on Emperor?''

He chuckled. ''What Emperor? By now he should be dead and the new Emperor will rise and shine. I work directly for the new Emperor. What can you do to me?''

Shu Ya rose her eyebrows and started cracking up. She laughed so much that even tears started coming out of her eyes. As the laughter ebbed and she dried her tears she pointed at his head. ''You really have only a string that connects those two ears inside that big pumpkin?''

He got angry and stepped forward making all soldiers grabbed handles on their weapons. He just ignored it and rose proudly his head. ''No matter what, I belong to a new government. You all should just bow to me.''

''Ohhhh, does that means you are the new Emperor?'' Shu Ya calmly sat down and started sipping her tea, completely ignoring his actions. She had so many guards here, what is she afraid of?

He paled as he understood her meaning and stepped back while angrily pointing in her direction. ''Don't put such a large charge on my head. I never said that.''

''Nonsense. Then did the new Emperor already sent Edict that makes you the king or maybe the head of the state?'' She already lost the wish to play around. This man is just going down to hell with his own two feet and she plans to push him to the harder way.

''He gave me his vocal Edict.'' He proudly rose his head and met her eyes that were ridiculing him.

But that was not all, she started laughing. The clear sound of bells started spreading out fo stuffy but suddenly stopped and the silence afterward was almost deafening. Her eyes became narrow and her face completely expressionless. ''Kill him.''

There was nothing else to say. Just that small sentence that meant so much. Vocal Edict? Really? If you were in Capital then she would reconsider it, but so far north to have such idiotic ideas without proper written Edict? It seems the snow froze most of his brain and the rest ate the worms that he had in his mind.

''You dare? I am...'' Shin Young just snapped his neck with his hands with one move, making all the surrounding guards gasp and feel like their blood froze. Shy Ya glanced towards Lord Ka and Minister Ying and saw them calmly watching everything without intervention.

''Burn his body. Tell anyone who tries to use Emperor to spout such nonsense they will die. All of them will die... I am loyal to the Empire. Emperor is high as heaven and his name can't be used randomly.'' She waved her hand and took the papers she had in her hands and started speaking about other things.

Cruel? She doesn't care if they call her that way. Even if there is a new Emperor he wouldn't move his hands against her because she killed a random person that brushed himself with the Emperor's name. Especially as she was the head at the moment.

There was nothing to fear.
