93 93. Strange dream 2

The picture darkened again and he heard two people talking. "Did you hear it? That brute that beat up his niece into the hospital, died. She will be taken by her teacher. Let's hope she will have a good life now."

"Yeah. Let's hope." Another voice answered and the picture changed again.

"What did you say? Shu Ya found a boyfriend that used her? That child has really bad luck. But this time I can help her. It is forbidden to push people into such loans and to steal their identities. Let's go and arrest them." His heart felt strangely heavy. Something is about to happen.

A young girl with a scar over her right eye was running away from a bunch of burly men. To escape, she rushed over the street and was hit by a passing car.

Zhou Mingwei. She could see how he raged after he saw those gangsters and as they saw him approaching, she saw them shooting at him.

The body fell near hers and their hands touched. With last breath, he smiled. "Child, in the next life, let me be your protector. In the next life, I will give my life to give you a happy childhood. Forgive me for not being able to do it in this world. See you soon..."

She opened her eyes and sighed. "Idiot. As a policeman, shouldn't you wear protective clothing? Dying like that. I knew you couldn't do anything about it. I never hated you. Life was just that. That is the reason I can't see such things happening around me. I will not forgive anyone."
