Now, You owe me dinner.

Miranda had been sleeping the whole afternoon. Now she couldn't fall asleep at all. She checked her phone when lit up.

It was a picture of a barbecue.

"Girl, do you have time to have a barbecue?"

Miranda told Emily she was going to see her friend and called the driver.

"Miranda, come here. Are you alright?" Nancy waved at her.

Miranda dashed to Nancy, only to find out she wasn't alone.

"Long time no see, friend." Austin grinned as he saw her stunned.

"Why? Are you still awkward with each other? Should I send Austin back?" Nancy asked with an innocent face.

"I am not. But if Miranda feels uncomfortable, I will go back." Austin shrugged. His statement made Miranda laugh.

Austin sipped his beer and poured one glass for Miranda. Nancy summarized the whole story of Miranda's marriage to Austin before she came. He was more concerned now seeing her unhappy face.

"Are you planning on staying married to Richard?" Austin asked suddenly.

"Hey! Shut your mouth" Nancy shot daggers at Austin.

Miranda flinched and, for the first few moments, was rendered speechless. When she reminded herself that Austin was sitting across from her, waiting for answers, she said, "Don't know."

"Sorry, I have to go washroom." Miranda excused herself.

"Hey! Her grandma just passed away. She is feeling very down right now. Why are you so insensitive? That topic was a taboo for Miranda, You dared not ask her further about it." Nancy warned him.

"But She doesn't deserve this." Austin frowned. Both of them turned into robots when Miranda returned.

"Guys, Let's go to the club." Miranda smiled at Austin and Nancy giving them a weird feeling.

The music blasted loudly and the colorful lights were flashing everywhere. Nancy, Austin and Miranda were enjoying themselves in a private room.

Nancy took the red wine from Miranda's hand and smiled despite herself after checking the label. "I'm afraid we can't drink this wine. The wine is worth almost 4 million. That's f*cking expensive!" Nancy couldn't help swearing.

"Is there something there to celebrate today? Why is there suddenly a firework display?" Austin asked.

"Man, I bet it costs a lot with that many fireworks," Nancy uttered. "Could it be that another billionaire is proposing to a young commoner?"

"Puff. You've read too many of those cheesy stories." Austin smirked.

"Haha! How do you explain the long firework display then?" Nancy asked excitedly.

"Twenty minutes" Holding the wine in her hand, she continued drinking on her own.

"Uh? How do you....." Nancy threw a squeezable look.

"No one ever gives me fireworks display. So, I am giving it myself." Miranda shrugged.

"Miranda, Are you really fine? You are scaring me" Nancy pursed her lips.

"Hey! Enjoy your night. Your friend has unlimited cards." Miranda said as she lolled on the sofa.

Austin's expression hardened but Nancy swallowed dryly hearing her friend.

Ten minutes later, Nancy's cell phone suddenly rang. The moment she answered the phone, her face immediately changed. "All right, I'll be back immediately."

"What's wrong?" Noticing that Nancy did not look well, Miranda asked.

"Something came up at my home, So I have to go back. Austin, send Miranda home."

Meanwhile, Richard lightly blew wisps of thin smoke out from between his thin lips. The smoke momentarily lingered around his gloomy face before it was brought away by the gentle breeze blowing in his face.

Seeing the caller ID displayed, he made a swipe on the screen of the phone to pick up the call.

"Director, I just received a call from the club manager. Miss Miranda spent over a million at the bar," he explained.

Richard only curtly asked, "Who was she with?"

"A guy called Austin Shore," Steven replied.

Upon hearing that, Richard asked in disbelief, "The two of them managed to spend over a million?"

"What did you say? That is impossible," Miranda frowned.

"Please check your card." The cashier replied. She then lowered her head and stared at the card in her hand.

"Please use this card" Austin handed the card. Use this card" Austin handed the card.

"Alright. Please hold on." The cashier swiftly swiped the card at the card swipe machine.

"Austin, Sorry. I will...."

"Now, you owe me dinner" Austin gave a cheeky smile.
