"Let's give the groom a chance to say something," Lisa said, handing over the mic to Diego.
"Thank you all for coming to my wedding. It is an honor to have you all here with me. This is a very big part of my life and I'm so happy to share it with you all. So I'll make a toast to that, and I also want to make a toast to my father, Simeon Sunsedo, for being my mother and my father. I hope I've made you proud, father," Diego said as they cheered. Simeon felt almost moved to tears. Diego then gave the mic back to Lisa.
"There are some rituals we need to perform. It is time for all the single ladies to line up. The bride is going to throw her bouquet, and anyone who catches it will be getting married soon. So please, all single ladies, line up," Lisa announced.
The single ladies, including herself, lined up eagerly. Rachael threw her bouquet, and Bea and Lisa were the ones who caught it. All eyes were on both of them. Bea simply left the bouquet for Lisa and walked away, accidentally bumping into Dax.
"Watch were you're going" he said, not letting her apologize.
"So rude," Bea muttered as she tried to move on, but Lisa called out to her.
"Wait up, Bea," she said walking over to her.
"Are you okay," Bea asked.
"yeah, I am. Why did you leave like that?" Lisa asked.
"No reason. The ritual was done, so I didn't see any need to stand there, and I'm starving," Bea explained.
"It's okay. Come, I'll get something for you to eat," Lisa offered.
"it's okay, Lisa. I need to start heading home now," Bea declined.
"Why? Is it because of what happened inside?" Lisa asked, concerned.
"No, it isn't. It's late, so I need to go home now. But if you could help me with three takeout, I would be grateful," Bea requested.
"Coming up, ma'am," Lisa said with a smile as they both chuckled.
