Chapter 4 – Rain, rain, go away

On first test, the second building from the co-jointed two buildings. Just as Aiden stepped into the room the Dona appeared. Aiden walked up to Dona on average speed and slashed it with his sword which instantly cleansed the Dona, since his powers are not capable of emission. After a minute the Dona turned to dust and withered away.

"Since it is a weapon test that would do, I guess…"professor announced, once Aiden walked out of the room.

"….Fufufu…. didn't have time to Show off, did you?" teased Kai with a big smirk on his face.

"Alright! Next Nagisa."

Nagisa approached Professor. Professor handed a vial to Nagisa and she headed toward the examination room on next building.

Safety curtain vial – The liquid in the vial creates an alternate reality on top of the existing reality once dropped. It create a space of same structure to specified radius trapping the object (Dona) in that reality while allowing the subject (person) to move out and in to their content. This liquid is exclusively manufactured by Itzumna family.

Nagisa stepped into the co-jointed building and took a drop from the vial and dropped it on to the ground. Soon as the liquid touched the ground, the ground liquefied, distorted resonating waves and then settled to a stable state.

Nagisa walked slowly inward to another room connecting to the previous room. There she found a Dona drifting. This Dona did not rush toward her nor attack her. Peculiar actions for a Dona.

"Hmm… weird for a Dona to not attack at sight, should I try provoking it" Thought Nagisa

Nagisa pointed her sword toward the calm Dona. Dona looked back at her and ignored her, not a single movement or even blood lust just plain simply ignored her. A block of ice shard charged with electricity formed from tip of her sword and shot piercing Dona's chest instantly killing it, turning it to a dust. (Since she used her weapon as the projection, the attacked was imbued with dark matter traces. Hence killing it unlike in chapter 1, where March used only his potential without dark matter as the medium.")

"Phew…." "Didn't expect to kill it but eh… whatever…"

Nagisa walked back to the previous room and touched the wall. She noted the veil hasn't been taken off.

"…Hold on… I killed the Dona… then veil should go off by now, is there more Dona then?"

"Should I kill it too then?"

Nagisa stepped back to the next room to recheck for Dona. Naturally, killing the object would lift off the veil, unless there are more object (Dona). Since a person is considered a subject, they could return at any given moment.

"Aghh…. Is she a fool, she could come back now…! Test is over…~" said Aiden watching from the other building.

A cold breeze blew to Nagisa's face from the third room connecting to second room. Soon as the breeze hit her face her hearted started to race fast and her pupils enlarged.

"W-what is it?! What is it in that room?!" Nagisa realized she was in fear of something that's coming towards her. Something that she can't defeat alone.

A long black arm stepped into the room Nagisa's in, from the third room, which look like pitch black void. A Dona emerged from the room towering 10 meters tall. It is not a regular Dona but a mutated one.

"I have to run, I must run for now" Screamed Nagisa's heart but her legs gave out on fear.

Dona slowly approached Nagisa. Although the Dona move way too slow, Nagisa's fear made her freeze on the spot. With its slow movement it was too close for her to make an escape.

"...Crap….."

"…Crap…, if I don't move now I will die! ~"

"Move legs….Mooove."

Nagisa slapped herself. She grasped rationality and slowly stood up while resolving herself "if I don't kill it here I can't escape."

"I will kill it here."

Nagisa grabbed the sword held it close to her chest pointing it towards the approaching Dona. She took a stance which implied she was about to face the mutated Dona head on. She dashed at a high speed straight toward the Dona.

"Tsk… too shallow!"

Slash cut through Dona's left upper arm out of its three left arms. But the cut was too shallow to cleanse it thoroughly. Nagisa landed behind the Dona.

"This thing is intimidating, sure, but its reaction speed is too slow." Nagisa analyzed the movement speed of the new mutated Dona.

Nagisa rushed up to the Dona and cut its right top arm, chest, and two legs. But every attack of her was too shallow. With continuous pointless attacks she tired herself.

"It's….. Ahh… taking…. For….ever… *gulps… I got to end it now."

Desperate and tired Nagisa let go of her weapon haul and brought both her hands close to her chest without both hands touching each other. She blew at the gaps between her hands. Soon as she blew a storm conjured and covered up the room they were in. The loud thunder and lightning hit the Dona continuously.

"Ame yo ame yo dokka ike" Screamed Nagisa from her abdomen.
