"Kid, are you alright?" Joan asked Starr but she looked ashen in the face and she kept resting on the wall.

Starr blinked again and then again as she waited for the world to stop spinning. 

Pangs of pain went through her.

 Her hatred for everything that lived and breathed intensified. Her hatred for Pepper grew ten folds.

Starr chuckled mockingly and shook her head.

"So, she's alive…. she's been alive this whole time?" 

She asked no one in particular. Joan grabbed her hand and started leading her back to her apartment because people coming and going were beginning to stare.

Once inside the apartment, Rainbow handed her a glass of water and Starr poured it down her throat in a second before dropping the cup on the table.

"She's been alive this whole time?" She asked again.

"Yes but you don't seem happy about it" Rainbow noticed.

"Rainbow hush…go to your room" Her mother instructed.
