Bound To You For A Lifetime

"There will be stars, but you'll be the brightest of all. There will be music, but everyone will be entranced by you instead. There will be laughter, but the sound of yours will bring peace to their hearts. Then, there will be us. You and I for a lifetime because you are bound to me amd I to you." This was his promise to her. "I will wait for that day to come. This is our first steps to forever. You are my final destination." That was her promise to him. This is the third installment of the THREE AMIGOS story. Welcome to Flora's happily ever after.

"Are you sure it's going to work?" She had a feeling that when the time came, Flora would be the one getting pounced on. The meek guys were usually the bloodthirsty ones.

"Trust me. There's no escaping from my hands. The first time I wore the lingerie, he nosebled so many times, I thought he was going to run out of blood." She remembered how he laid next to her weakly after his repeated blood loss. She felt really sorry for him.

"Just pounce with care."

"Yes ma'am."

...

As Flora was finalizing her plans for next weekend, Frank wasn't lagging behind either. He created a group chat that included the four families except Claudia, Seraphina, and Flora.

Flora couldn't be a part because it was a proposal for her. Claudia and Seraphina couldn't be part of the plan because they wouldn't be able to hold the secret in.

<Frank: Welcome everyone. This operation is titled: Operation CFS, Changing Flora's Status.

<Father Jenkins: That's my boy. I'm glad to see you stepping up.

<Grandma Jacob: Seems like you're eager to practice those materials hehehe

<Mother Jacob: Not on here mom!!!

<Greg: I can't wait to officially welcome my daughter-in-law.

<Grandfather James: It would be nice if we could have a live-in grandson-in-law. All ours are girls. It's unfair that they have to leave.

<Joy: Don't worry papa James. I'm sure the kids will be dropping by often. Wait until they reproduce children.

<Frank: Guys!!!! HELLO! Proposal planning here. NOT parenthood planning. She needs to say yes first.

<Mother Jenkins: Of course she's going to say yes. You guys love each other so much. I cant wait to hold my grandbabies.

Gradually, the topic strayed farther and farther away from operation CFS to 'operation skip marriage and give us our grandbabies.' They started making babysitting plans in the group chat while totally ignoring Frank.

When he noticed they weren't of any help, he could only plan himself. He was going to propose in their home. Afterwards, they'd have a huge family dinner to celebrate.

...

The following day, Frank dragged Flora out of the house for a sudden date. He was going to use this opportunity to fish out some information from her to use towards modifying his plans. Unknown to him, Flora wasn't really reluctant to go out, she was just laying the foundation for her "Operation Fever attack."

"Babe, I was talking to a colleague today, and he let it slip that he'd be proposing to his longtime girlfriend," he said gently as they strolled hand-in-hand in the mall.

"That's nice. How does he plan to go about it?" Frank was a reticent individual, so anytime he was willing to start a conversation, Flora was always glad and paid utmost attention.

"He's going to do it in a public place, probably after a date or shopping spree," he looked on nonchalantly as if he really didn't care.

"That's not bad. I hope his proposal is successful. "

He thought she was going to state her own preference but she didn't take the bait. So he continued, "do you also like public proposals?"

"What? You wanna propose to me?" She asked teasingly.

He immediately freaked out, "what proposal? of course not."

"You don't wanna propose to me?" She asked surprisingly.

"I didn't mean it like that. I meant my colleague is proposing. What do you think about his method? Good or bad?"

Seeing that she didn't press on anymore, he calmed down.

Almost let the cat out of the bag!
