“Help me" She begged as she found the man not moving. “Ple—please. I'm drugged" She slurred, drunk with desires and pleasure. Sebastian smirked at the words of the human on his lap. He could smell her arousal, and he could tell she wasn't acting. “And what do I get in return?" Sebastian asked as he placed one of his hands on the armrest of the plush cushions. “Anything. Please," Avery replied as she began to roll her hips to get some friction. “Even if it's your life?" “Yes," she affirmed in her dazed state. Sebastian smiled at her reply and gently raised his hands towards her neck. “Fine," Sebastian pulled the lady onto his thighs a little bit back, and he could see she was overdosed. Who died?

Two handsome men were busy walking around the clothing rack, where different suits were displayed.

They were trying to figure out the suit to buy, and the two staff ladies walking behind them couldn't stop blushing at the men's beauty.

"I'm shocked you will be getting married, Sebastian. It was one hell of unbelievable news," Damien, Sebastian's friend, said, picking up one of the black tuxedo suits. He dropped it back after checking it.

Sebastian didn't comment on what  Damien said and only ignored him. His eyes caught a suit among the racks, and he couldn't wait to check it out.

He wanted to look his best, even without trying. It's not too much to ask for, right?

"Tell me, is everything okay with you now? We both know you can't feel emotions," Damien added, one of his hands resting on the mannequin while his eyes lazily looked at Sebastian.

By gauging Sebastian's expression, Damien knew Sebastian had always been good at masking his emotions, or he didn't even feel one. Sebastian is no different from a statue sometimes.

"I don't remember telling you I'm sick. If you wouldn't be the best man, let me know." Sebastian tsk, his voice sounding uninterested.

"Did she know about your illness? I mean, you can't love her." Damien added again, trying everything possible to push Sebastian's buttons and watch him confess.

He knew Sebastian deserved to be happy because of his past, and he couldn't be more glad; he was taking a step after years of existence, but what if things didn't go as planned?

"I'm not introducing her to anyone. I just want her to be left alone in this. Out of my world. I told you my father forced me," Sebastian said coolly. He took the suit and gestured with his hand for the staff to walk closer to him.

The staff held the suit and left the two men to pack the suit Sebastian had chosen inside a bag.

Damien walked closer to where Sebastian was, leaving the mannequin side.

"Oh, you mean you will be keeping it a secret from her then." Damien chirped in, a cocky smile on his lips.

"I know he forced you, but you can always ignore him, Seb. I know you are better at doing that, and you have been doing this for the past few years," Damien pointed out, leaving Sebastian's side to give the staff the suit to pack.

"He wanted a child," Sebastian said, but not loud enough for Damien to catch up.

"Did you say something?" Damien asked, walking back to Sebastian's side.

Sebastian only kept watching Damien keenly. His eyes darkened when he thought about what Damien said. Damien sure has a point, and now Sebastian couldn't dare question himself about why he agreed to take Avery as his wife.

He can just make her his mistress and get her pregnant, but why is he going too far? Sebastian didn't want to dwell on this matter.

Sebastian tapped Damien's shoulder lightly, walking away to take the suit from the staff after wiring them the transfer.

"We should get going," Sebastian proposed, turning his back to leave while Damien walked beside him.

The staff blushed instantly when they saw the two men walking out of the mall.

"Seems like they are ogling at you, Sebastian," Damien said with a smirk on his lips.

His eyes caught a woman, who covered her mouth in shock as she stared at him.

Damien gave the woman a wink, and almost every lady who saw it whined softly. Blush creeps to their cheeks.

"I think you care much about these things, judging by the way you kept flirting with them," Sebastian said.

"I thought you weren't looking my way, but you caught that, woah," Damien replied, grinning as he threw a breathtaking smile at Sebastian.

"You know, sometimes I do wonder if you have four eyes," Damien said, while Sebastian only focused on where he was going, as if he didn't hear what Damien said.

"Hmm," Sebastian replied, looking at his front.

"You can't blame me though; Hazel isn't interested in me anymore," Damien whined softly like a baby. Faking a cry.

"You should chase her again. She is still single," Sebastian said while Damien only shook his head.

"I gave up."

When they both got outside, a woman got out of the car with a smile gracing her full pink lips. Damien stopped when he saw the woman walking towards them.

"Tell me, Seb. Is she your bride?" Damien inquired. Throwing a side glance at Sebastian. "Oh good Lord, you fucking killed it."

Sebastian ignored Damien's remarks. His demeanor changed instantly. The woman walked forward towards them, with a beautiful smile gracing her lips.

"Hi Sebastian," the woman slurred, flirtatiously. Damien could notice the tension in the air, and he figured out that she was not the bride he was waiting for.

Damien couldn't recognize the woman, but there was something aloof about her. She smelled like them. Sebastian only stared at the human but uttered no words. His expression held nothing.

"My name is Tessy," The young lady introduced herself to Sebastian, ignoring Damien's existence.

"Can we talk alone?" Tessy asked, wetting her lower lips with her tongue.

Damien noticed the action, and one thing popped into his mind. This lady right here is in love with Sebastian, but sometimes he can be ridiculous.

"Sure," Sebastian replied, which surprised Damien more.

He was finding it hard to believe that Sebastian was accepting the lady's request just like that. Maybe there was something after all.

"We should talk later. I will be in the car," Damien said, walking away from the two.

"You can come with me if you don't mind." The lady said, She held the purse well in her hand as she walked forward to one of the closest restaurants to them.

Sebastian sat down on the chair, while Tessy did the same. Thanks to the cap she wore, no one was able to recognize her as she lowered her head down.

"I know you know about me, Mr. Sebastian," Tessy pointed out, not liking the way Sebastian had remained quiet ever since she met him in front of the mall.

"And what do you think I know—" Sebastian said, raising his brows for her to complete his words. Tessy took the initiative to introduce herself again.

"Tessy," she completed his words for him. Her eyes are not leaving Sebastian's own.

The waiter comes towards them and demands what they would like to take, giving them the menu list.

"One iced Americano, please," Sebastian said. Tessy didn't demand anything, and watched the waitress leave them alone.

"Why pretend that you love something like this, Mr. Sebastian? We both know you don't like it," Tessy said, trying to chitchat, but the man in front of her wasn't giving her the kind of attention she wanted.

He only remained quiet, watching her and looking at his wristwatch.

Tessy knew better than anyone not to drag the matter out for a long time.

"I will just be straightforward then. I sent the woman," Tessy confessed. Her eyes bore into Sebastian's own.

"Which woman are you talking about?" Sebastian asked, playing ignorance despite him knowing everything about how and why something like that had to transpire.

Tessy cleared her throat before parting her lips to answer Sebastian.

"The rumor is true, then," Tessy thought. She waited for the waitress to leave before deciding to speak up again.

"The woman that came to your room. The one I sent to come and seduce you and also check something," Tessy said, but before she could add anything more, Sebastian beat her to it.

"And did you come here because she died?" Sebastian announced, and it was Tessy's turn to get shocked. Her eyes held doubt as she tried to shake the feeling off by chuckling.

"I don't get you. Who died?" Tessy asked, her heart racing in her chest.
