Boredom aniquilation

The history of mankind can be understood as a succession of periods defined by the feeling which moved the human world. In the beginning there was hunger, hunger moved caveman to hunt and collect. Then there was couriousity, which lead to the development of agriculture and domestication and the development of sciences. However, fear made its appearance, inducing the rise of religion and plunged the world in the dark ages. But when the masses grew desperate fear gave way to fury and revolutions took place. Once fury was appalled the reign of envy begun everyone trying their best to climb the ranks of society which worked out quite nicely since this effort ended up improving the living conditions of most people to the point where work begun to be just an option instead of a necessity. This new found freedom plunged the world into the age of boredom where incredible tools that would have changed the world in any other era are being used and improved mainly in an effort to distract mankind of boredom. It is the era where instead of solving problems we create them in virtual reality just to be entertained.
